She filled me in on all of the neighborhoods and helped me find the one that was best for me. She had access to so many houses when they first came on the market, which was great. She is extremely knowledgeable about everything and was able to answer all of our 500 questions a day. We also had a lot of fun working with her and her great personality. We looked forward to hanging out with her driving around Baltimore looking for a house! I continue to recommend Suzie to friends in the area, and know we will be turning back to her when it's time to move.

She's professional, VERY knowledgeable when it comes to understanding the markets, and sets expectations so there are no surprises throughout the process. Whether you're a buyer, seller, or investor it would be in your best interests to call her to see how she can help you. My parents were speaking to a neighbor about the annual property tax assessment and realized they…read morewere paying a significantly higher amount in tax than the neighbor that had a similarly sized home. I contacted the county assessment agency and was told the house was being assessed for having an additional floor of living space. We explained that the information in their system was incorrect. We were then told we would have to schedule a hearing and provide proof that our house had been appraised incorrectly by the county. Specifically, we would need to have our house reappraised and the appraisal documents must be submitted before the hearing scheduled 3 weeks later. I was referred to Mr. Henry by a trusted family friend. Mr. Henry was able to come out the following week and provide a very thorough and professional appraisal of the property. He took the time to speak with my parents and gave us information to assist with the upcoming hearing. Based on the appraisal, the county changed the square footage assessment in their system. The change will reduce my parent's annual tax liability. I highly recommend Astute Appraisals and Mr. Henry's services!

Once I declined to upgrade beyond the Quick List Package--or to agree to the 2% commission he was encouraging--his responsiveness changed completely. When I reached out after months without contact, he said he'd call me the next day and didn't. When I followed up, he accused me of "trying to get free advice," became argumentative, and even suggested I move my already-paid-for listing somewhere else. He left me without support on a critical issue. Important things to know: * The Quick List Package offers minimal included help, and small changes often mean extra charges. * Expect to cover the buyer's agent commission, which isn't always explained clearly. * Service quality declines if you don't accept upsells. You might save money at first, but my experience was marked by limited support, added fees, and unprofessional interactions.
