I visited Houston, TX recently for a concert. While there I found myself needing some retail therapy. So we stopped in Willowbrook Mall to check out the stores that had to offer. Upon arrival, I could tell it was a smaller mall. The parking lot was not even half full on a great Saturday afternoon. The stores were all average and the mall could really use a bit of an update if possible. They had a great churro stand there, but I forgot to snap a photo. I checked out a few of the stores and purchased some items. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. Coming from Oklahoma, I guess I just imagined all Houston malls being larger than ours, but I was surprised to see I was wrong. Needless to say I was able to locate what I needed for the day. So I would visit again if In the area and I needed something quick. read more

Great and, has good stores here and there, not a lot of designer stores but it does has popular locations, it conecta to some good bars, i just wish it had more options and wish for them to be closer to the food court, when it comes to food, it's honestly al the same items just different names, but they all seem to sell the same; traffic can get bad after 3pm but other than that it's a good place to shop read more

Please save yourself and your belongings!!! I have been victim of a car burglary 2 times in the past year at Willowbrook Mall. I am starting to think mall security is in on it... MS just so happened to drive by right as we discovered we were victimized. Then the police told us that Willowbrook has had 100 instances in the past MONTH. What is mall security doing about it? Nothing... One officer did tell us that the criminals do scope out people in the parking lot and then wait for you to go inside. Why is security NOT SCOPING THEM OUT? We were on our way to the airport so the crooks made out with a good deal of expensive things. Shopper beware! Boycott institutions that don't keep you and you belongings safety as FIRST priority. I will never shop there again and tell all my friends not to. read more

10-15 years go when I used to go to this mall on a frequent basis, it was pretty decent. Now - it is terrible! Super sketchy. Store quality has gone sharply downwards. I highly recommend you go to the Woodlands or the Galleria - way better malls. read more

Dislike the Mall, but just to come in and out it's pretty cool. Never been too crowded even on the weekend unless it's a Holiday or a Major Sale. Nordstrom Rack is my go to spot. Great deals on brand names. read more

I'm a fan of the Willowbrook Mall. Situated at the crossroads of 1960 and 249, Willowbrook Mall has all of the department stores you come to find at a typical mall but some real stand outs in the interior. This nice, clean mall has a good variety of shopping for those times you want to avoid the crowds and hassle of the Galleria. Many of the upper end stores you'll find there are also housed at Willowbrook Mall - even some you can't find there. For example, Willowbrook Mall is one of the few places you'll find a Williams Sonoma inside a mall rather than an open air shopping center. You can also shop Coach, The Disney Store, and Ann Taylor here. Of course, they still have the mall staples as well as a play place for the kids when they get tired of shopping. The mall always looks well kept even when it gets crowded. It certainly holds up to a higher standard than some of the shopping centers around Houston. Willowbrook Mall is a great stop for gifts or a little something for yourself if you're in the area. read more

love this mall!! compared to Baybrook, galleria, or woodlands it is a perfect mall for me! the layout it simple and non confusing. The stores in the mall are all that i NEED and plus. Definetly middle class mall, unlike Galleria where most stores are for upper middle or upper class and Greenspoint for lower class. however I am not liking how they are starting to have these cheap chic stores since it brings the wrong attention to the mall. read more

Willowbrook Mall has gotten way better over the years! They've added a bunch of new and "popular" stores (eg h&m, Michael Kors) recently AND apparently they're opening a Nordstrom Rack soon! I always prefer this mall to Memorial City because it's not as crowded, and parking isn't a war zone -_- PS I like to read Rodney P.'s review when I'm having a bad day. My mall of choice because it's close, clean, and expanding. It has most things one would need and all on one level. Lots of parking! Weekends can be busy and flooded with lots of unaccompanied teenagers. I prefer to go on a weeknight. There is also a ton of places to eat, both in the mall and around. Across the street is also more food and shopping. Overall great location and well kept. read more

Willowbrook Mall...local mall in North Houston. I rather like Willowbrook Mall. It's got all the stores I like to frequent: JC Penny's, Waldenbooks (right by the JC Penny's), Journey's, the very amusing Hot Topic, Clair's, and that annoying Krocks kiosk. Yeah, it's great. I can get a nice book and mosy on down to the food court. Of course it's busy during lunch, but there are a large array of eaterys there (Chick Fill A, Starbucks, other various resturants). And there's a Godiva chocolate store for when I have a sweat tooth or feel like spending a ridiculous amount of cash. Sure, I could do with out the Abecrombie and Fitch, but I like this mall. read more

Can I just copy paste my Woodlands Mall review? Because it's the same. It's a mall. It's clean. It's in a good area.

I really don't like this mall!!! It seems like it's always packed, not with shoppers, but people just strolling around. I especially hate coming here with the kids. Several times now the security guards right by the playground have taken my 6 year old out of the playground saying he is too tall. Shit, I can't help that! (he's like 49 inches WTF) Yet a few minutes later, I see older kids (8year olds) running around with shoes on and they let them stay in there. That's BS! I've only shop here when I'm in the area and need something quick, like a present or something. Otherwise I avoid this mall completely! read more

I like this mall. It's a lot nicer than I remembered it growing up. I feel it has been recently renovated? The whole area is flourishing and they get all of the new stores. My visit was because I heard they got a new H & M. But while I was there I enjoyed other stores and must say the people watching in the area has improved also. read more

I was harassed treated as a thief because I was accompanied by colored relatives. I have a full video futage.. I also have my receipt where I paid 230.00 for pants and a top. They checked my bag twice because the alarm went off while others where exiting . They saw we were not in position of stolen goods.. While my relatives where waiting for the kiosk to finish with the repair on their phone. Police and security told them they have to leave due to a call received by Six02 staff. ( without reasoning) . at this time we advised them how rasism seems to be the cause of harassment... As we exited the mall we again where approached by police and security total of 6 along with Six02 manager who FALSE CLAIMED SHE SAW A RECORDING. Showing we placed yellow shorts in our bag. They checked for the 3rd time while harassing us( footage to prove the HARRASMENT) We will seek legal support . I hope you have this so called yellow shorts footage) your HR should train staff on tassism you are liable for your employees actions.do to the no return policy you feel once you receive your customers monies you follow by harassment ? read more

I'm so sick of malls and their teeny-tiny sizes made for teeny-tiny people. A size "large" at most Willowbrook Mall retail stores is a size "medium" at Burlington, Ross or TJ Maxx. The only thing I buy at the mall is shoes, toys and something from the food court. Which is sad, I know. This is my mall of choice b/c I know my way around and it's not overly huge. But I hate the size choices at every store. Really...how many girls over the age over 22 are actually a size "0-4"?!?! read more

Nice mall and in a pretty good area.

I've been coming here since I was younger ever since Greenspoint Mall started turning for the worst. It was a big upgrade from GP. The stores here have really gotten better and has added more stores throughout the mall. The location is great since it's in the middle of everything else like Walmart, Target, a movie theater, and other restaurants nearby. Every basic store that you're looking for is here except for Gap. Gap is in it's own location on 1960 and Champion Forest. If it had Gap in here, it would of been perfect, but instead, you must travel about 7 minutes to get there. There is an Apple store and the Macys here sells LUSH products which is something that you don't see at all Macys. This is my go-to mall for all my fixings. It's no Galleria, but I'm kind of glad it's not. It's perfect to grab what you need and leave. read more

PROS: -Pretty good store variety -Well-run stores and food court restaurants -Food court is being updated CONS: -Lots of crime & a generally unsafe feeling-definitely not the safe atmosphere it used to be -Crazy parking lots with cars driving the wrong way and parked too close together This is the closest mall to me, but it's definitely not my favorite. I would much rather shop at the Woodlands Mall or the Galleria, but I often come here when I need something as it is more convenient. However, if I'm shopping for pleasure, it's definitely worth driving the extra distance to another mall. The other two malls feel safer, have more shops, and have more shops in the mall's surrounding area. The Williwbrook Mall will do in a pinch, but only if I really need something. read more

EDIT/UPDATE: They have brought in a lot better stores and the inside is a lot nicer than it used to be. The area is still ghetto, the outside still looks like shit, the parking lot is still bad, and the inside of the mall is a bunch of yolo swag teenagers, but it's a mall. I upgraded it from 2 to 3 stars. Woodlands, Memorial City, Galleria, all much better malls to go to. I live between Tomball and Willowbrook, the few times I have gone to this mall I had the ominous feeling I was going to get stabbed in the parking lot. Slightly better than the Greenspoint "mall" but not much. Crap stores, crap quality, old, run down looking, ghetto etc. I would only go here if I was forced to. There are so many better options (even the outlet on i-10 or north by Tomball). Why would you shop here? read more

Willowbrook Mall offers all the amenities that a mall should. Major anchor stores with many specialty stores and a big food court. Parking is plentiful and there are many restaurants and stores nearby to visit. It is easy to get to via Hwy 249 and FM 1960. read more

Willowbrook mall is a great mall. They have just about every store you would want to visit when going shopping. The mall is very clean and has a great selection of stores and a good food court as well. The location of the mall is also good because it is surrounded by a lot of other little stores and a lot of places to go eat before or after. I have noticed that over the years it keeps getting more packed and packed, this is probably due more to people moving into this area. One of the lesser know malls in Houston because it does not have a good vibe. One thing I did was that I bought some nice shows for a low price. The mall. The one stop place for all of your shopping needs. Way back when I was in middle school, my friends and I would swing by to "hang out." Apparently, that's what a lot of adults do here. There's also a weird smell that hangs in the air, kinda like mildew. I try to come here early and usually on Sundays while most are worshippin'. I make like a jailbreak by getting in and getting out. Most of the time, Willowbrook is filled with young folks and families with all of their kids. Most of the major stores that you would expect to find at a mall are here. There are also lots of kiosks for those odd items such as raunchy t-shirts, smokeless cigarettes (as see on TV!) and steam irons for your hair. I was excited to see that See's Candies has set up shop here. As you can probably imagine, Christmas is a crazy time to visit. Bring your patience and comfortable walking shoes. There is is calendar kiosk that comes out during the holidays. I always end up buying a couple of them here. Parking is wacky. Make sure that you are looking both ways because all rules that apply to parking here are off. People dart around the parking lot like they are practicing for their driving license. read more

The stores seemed pretty busy which is great for business. There are a variety of stores which is great for those spending a day in the mall. I only visited The Sunglass Hut, Banana Republic, and Victoria's Secret. There were tons of people just walking around, possibly enjoying the weekend away from school. I only come to this mall for one thing and one thing only. Lush Cosmetics in Macy's. I am a 100% Lushie! They have TONS of bath products to choose from (bathbombs, bath melts, bubble bars, shampoo, conditioner, make up, and the list goes on). When i was here recently, i needed to purchase my shampoo and a few other things from Aveda. It saddened me that they are no longer in Willowbrook Mall :( The mall isn't too bad, but i have other malls i'd prefer over this one. read more

Not too big, not too small. Just perfect. The area is surrounded by restaraunts and near a busy intersection (1960 & 249). Traffic is actually not that bad, if you know the right short cuts that is. The Houston gallerica is kinda set up the same way but traffic is horrible and good luck on parking. Here at the Willowbrook Mall, everywhere is pretty much the same distance so as soon as I enter the parking lot I just park. This place is starting to have more high end clothing stores. read more

I was not impressed with this mall. It has a rougher crowd of young people We were there on a Sunday afternoon, but I can see that this is not a mall you would feel safe in after dark or when things are more deserted. I felt uncomfortable here. The mall wasn't very well kept, with trash visible around the food court and near the fountain. Needs better maintenance or visitors need to take a little more pride in keeping the mall clean. *Update 9/25/17, This mall is now one of the few places that still has a Picture People in Sears, which is nice to get those family photos. read more

So when I visited this mall I was shopping with my mother to look for outfits for a party. We came to the food court and ate then we left the bag on the table but my mother walked away for a few seconds and the bag was gone .we asked security to look on the cameras and all they did was take down my mother number and never followed up.It was 150.00 in that bag and we looked away for a few seconds and where we come from someone would not take our bag or ask who's it was read more
