I was thankful for the nearby street parking as well as the noted parking in the back. They have many steps to get to the party I was attending but it was worth it. We were on the very top floor and it was gorgeous! It was very spacious, had a private bar area, private clean bathroom, at least 2 rooms and other amenities. I noticed a photo set up for those who enjoy the photo backdrop fun pics (hand raised). There were 2 backdrops to pick from and social distancing was enforced. The photographer has on a shirt w venue name on it so I assumed she was affiliated. I look forward to attending more events here and would definitely consider for hosting an event !!

Grand View Farm is a true family farm with incredible ethos and integrity. They raise cows, hogs, chickens and turkeys that far exceed all the overly hyped marketing food certifications. They are considering raising lambs in the future. We have ordered Grand View's pork tenderloins, ground beef, steaks and sage sausage and everything has been outstanding. We were a little skeptical that there would be a noticeable difference in quality from some of the organic stores meat. We have been converted. I even think it has made me a better cook! Admittedly, the prices are higher than a grocery store, but we are happy to support this local, family farm with high quality meat. Note that each order comes well packaged in insulated boxes with a ton of ice packs. The orders arrive within two days and we have never had an issue. If you are skeptical like we were, it is worth ordering once and making your own decision. My only nit to pick is we wish we could send the boxes and ice packs back to be reused.

Located in the Canton waterfront park, you can enjoy local bands performing and local food trucks. Each month a few different bands are always featured. You can also enjoy bars that have been set up throughout the park, sponsored by Mother's bar and Grill. Some of my favorite food that is always featured, is Jimmy's Famous Seafood and Underground Pizza. Don't forget to also enjoy some ice cream from the ice cream trucks. Prices are reasonably priced and expected from the restaurants. You can always expect great quality food, great service, and fast service, especially as the night goes on and the park gets more crowded. Parking is best available on Boston Street or walking to the festival if you live in Canton is a perfect option. Don't forget to bring chairs and a blanket for sitting on the lawn, or if you get there early enough, you may be lucky enough to get a park bench where you can sit all night.

This place was quite large. There's a dedicated parking area on rocks. There's a porta potty at the parking area. You follow the signs to the office or gift shop and you state your name that registered online and you get a container of food and you can roam the cages. Each caged area is for specific sets of alpacas and you can get to the outside through each gated area. The alpacas are friendly - some a super needy - and some just want to rest. It really depends on the time frame for each one. You can touch and feed. Some really get in your face. I was trying to kneel down to take photos and the alpacas start walking towards me. The staff is constantly taking care of them and cleaning after their... Open bathroom use. There's games and seating everywhere. It is well organized here and well maintained. The people here are nice and I got what I wanted from visiting here. Seeing tons of alpacas. There are not just 10 alpacas, there's probably around 35-60 and they are all spread out, some inside and some outside grazing and eating grass. Very humane conditions for the alpacas. You can see a horse outside too and a Shepard dog as well.

The staff was warm, welcoming, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. We checked in at the visitor's center, then walked the grounds where all we could see were shrubs and trees, with very few flowers in bloom. The mansion is only open if there are events. The nature center is very well done, and perfect for children. My favorite part was definitely the lion statues. The other, incidental, part we really enjoyed is that there were various painters scattered about the property, so it was fun to see what they were painting and chat with them.

It is directly up the road from the Baltimore Zoo if you want to hit up two great Baltimore attractions!

We tasted A LOT of wines, so we definitely recommend eating both before and afterwards to ensure you can make the drive home as after the tasting you'll be feeling very TIPSY! The tour also came with a charcuterie board, $65 well spent! My only complaint is I wish they would update their site so you could book tours directly on there instead of having to inquire through email and pay over the phone. It seems a little outdated, but overall that did not deter me from having a great experience.

A Beautiful Small Farm Up in Northern Maryland…read more SITREP I had a joyful opportunity to travel to Northern Maryland and visit with Eddie & Laurie Downey, the very pleasant owners of the Downey Family Farm in Upperco, Maryland. THE SETUP But although I say "farm", it's MORE like a Ranch or even a Homestead, cause this wonderful spot raises BIG cattle, and by "BIG" cattle I mean TEXAS LONGHORNS! Eddie explained the fantastic inner workings of this enterprise, including the "studding"of the cows by visiting bulls!
