WOW - where do I start? I've been waiting to give Lisa my review until I could post my wedding…read morephotos too, but believe me -- I have not stopped thinking about what magic she created for my wedding day! Let me say first that I was such a scrappy DIY bride, so I was really looking for a day-of coordinator I could trust. I did many calls with other coordinators and I was looking out for folx who really pressure you to have a cookie cutter wedding and play into the wedding industry. Lisa was not like that at all, she felt like one of my friends and was totally on board with working with the blank canvas of my venue. She was so easy to work with and made me feel really confident the day-of. She was hands down the best money spent from all my vendors at my wedding. Examples of Lisa's magic: - She was a serious partner in crime! I come from a background of event planning myself, so I recognized that I was a bit of a hyper detailed and logistically obsessed bride. I literally had made my production schedule before I had even met with her! This type of thing would normally irritate the hell out of an event coordinator, but honestly Lisa just felt like someone who was my partner. She saw what I had created and helped me build off of what I got started and she just made me feel like I wasn't in it alone anymore. - She would go above and beyond! We had a mix-up with our cocktail hour where our caterer came in and left some of the food on the side where it wasn't easily found. Lisa and her assistant jumped in immediately once she saw the need. She straight up started serving our hor d'orves to all of our guests so that the food we spent good money on wouldn't be hidden in the corner. - She handled extra coordination with ease! We had a mariachi parade and a shuttle coming in and out of our venue. She was able to coordinate all of this seamlessly with her assistant. I was worried about the coordination of our shuttle in particular- and without a single worry my guests were coming in and speaking so highly of the amazing coordination of the entire day. These are just a few examples of how amazing Lisa is. So do yourself a favor and give her a call for your special day. Thank you so much Lisa for all the ways you helped make my wedding the best weekend of my life.

Words can truly not express my gratitude for Lisa. Naturally, I'm a pretty good planner, but when…read moreit came to the wedding planning process I was pretty clueless. I started out interviewing wedding planners. Out of all of them, Lisa was hands down my favorite. I remember explaining to my husband instantly- she was the one and we needed to book her ASAP. Looking back at all we went through (Covid) Lisa was the best thing that ever happened to me. Below are some reasons why: Organized- Lisa makes it her #1 duty to stay organized. She kept all notes in one folder, sent us cal reminders on deadlines, never missed a beat and was always ready, organized & prepared. Connections- With all of the positive connections she has developed with vendors in the industry she was able to get us great deals on DJ, Photographer & flowers. Vision- Lisa completely understands individual couples visions and her portfolio is an example of this. In planning 3 (yes, 3- Covid) weddings, she adjusted the vision to each setting/time of day/vibe accordingly. Thoughtful- Those little things you see in the movies and never for a second think that's real life? Yeah, she will make it happen. *jLO wedding planner vibes* Kind- With all of the stress & pressure Lisa maintained a nothing but kind attitude. She rolled with the punches and made sure no one was stressed. Can make anything happen- after so many cancellations and doing away with things, 3 days before our wedding I asked Lisa if there was any way we could get a string quartet (yikes, I'm a nightmare) not only did Lisa make it happen, they were playing our songs (walk down the aisle, first dance, etc) that we were no longer having due to simplified Covid wedding. All and all, I can't say enough good things about Lisa as a wedding planner. If you are looking for someone that is a friend in the process, will understand your vision, organized, and just AMAZING- look no further.

Brandi and her team created absolute MAGIC on our wedding day! Our ceremony site was already…read moregorgeous on its own, so we wanted to keep decoration light there. Finishing Touch added the perfect amount of flowers along the aisle and at the altar without taking away from the natural beauty. The number one thing (when it came to decor) that I wanted for our wedding was ceiling drapery with fairy lights and Finishing Touch DELIVERED! They are a preferred vendor of our venue (Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens) and the only vendor that the venue allows to hang things from the ceiling. We met with Brandi in the showroom to look at different centerpiece options, candle votives, flower options, and fabric colors. She was attentive and listened to everything - even picking up on things we didn't say but ended up being important. Brandi picked up the tone in the room very quickly when she asked about boutonnieres for the fathers and we said "just father of the groom". She suggested making a memorial boutonniere for my dad (father of the bride) and I loved that idea so much. She made every effort to tie the details together meaningfully and never pushed more expensive options. They had already started setting up when we arrived at the venue on wedding day and I was AMAZED. It was even more beautiful and magical than I had imagined! The centerpieces were fresh flowers and were gorgeous. The stairway and other flower accents were silk and they were a PERFECT match with the fresh flowers. So many people commented on the fairytale feel and how pretty the flowers were. We decided to have our flower girl's flower crown be made of silk flowers instead of fresh so she could keep it. It was beautifully crafted and made my flower girl feel like a princess! I drug my feet on getting my bouquet dried and pressed after the wedding and didn't get to it until about 4 days after. The person I went to said that usually flowers are a total loss at that point, but that she could tell I had an incredible florist because my flowers were still almost perfect! Using Finishing Touch is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! They made my fairytale dreams come true and I felt like a princess!

We went with Finishing Touch for our flowers for our wedding earlier this month, and we are so…read morehappy that we did. Brandi does an amazing, amazing, amazing job! You can tell from all of her experience that she knows what she's doing. We gave her an idea of the colors we wanted, and she was able to help design flowers and decor (e.g., candles, lanterns) that were better than anything we could have imagined. She was able to work within our budget to still make an absolutely stunning arrangement for both our ceremony and our reception. Even better was that she was able to use a mix of largely silk flowers (which looked gorgeous and cost less) as well as as real flowers for the bridal bouquets and groomsmen flowers, and every last detail looked perfect. She is communicative and flexible with you, and she made the daunting task of choosing wedding flowers into a stress free and beautiful experience. Would highly recommend anyone in the area looking for a florist to go with Brandi and Finishing Touch!

Xuan was honestly such a great addition to our wedding team, she thought of details I hadn't thought of and was so available to answer questions. We had a last minute expectation of rain, and she handled research of a vendor and coordinated the contract for us to make sure our venue was covered. That whole process was a life-saver and game changer. On the day of our wedding she kept us on schedule and always checked in to see what I needed. Having her as point of contact with our vendors was so helpful not to be bothered. She even reviewed our contacts to see if we needed to hire additional helpers and discovered one of our contracts already included clean up. I cannot imagine our special day without her!
