We hired K. Rose Events for our wedding in california with high hopes and excitement, having chosen them specifically for their experience with large-scale events and DIY planning. While we truly appreciate the hard work put in by the planner and her team over the weekend--there were definitely moments of dedication--we unfortunately cannot say that our expectations were met, especially in regard to the Style and Design Package that we paid extra for. The Style and Design package promised that all table décor would be set up by the K. Rose Events team. We provided a highly detailed setup guide, labelled tubs, printed instructions, mock-up photos, and even conducted table design trials with our planner in advance to ensure the vision would be carried out. Despite all this preparation, the table setup was incomplete and incorrect: Many hurricane vases and candles were not used at all--over 15 boxes were left unopened. Vases on the tables were missing water, candles remained unlit, and two full boxes of floating candles were never opened. Rented items: Wine and whiskey glasses, heaters, and lighting we rented and paid hundreds of dollars for were never put out. Personal and meaningful items like a painting from my grandmother and framed grandparent family photos--were not displayed. Our wedding programs were found under a table in a box, largely undistributed. The layout for seating was incorrect, with key people placed in the wrong spots or missing tableware entirely (My Sister and Fathers). She brought her child to multiple wedding meetings including our rehearsal, which we were not expecting for the price we paid for her services we expected a more professional approach. Multiple family members and bridesmaids saw her roll her eyes throughout speeches and throughout the night. She inappropriately took me away from my wedding guests/ dance to buy a small portion of my decor. She seemed more concerned with getting consent for her Reels than ensuring things were 'perfect' on our wedding day. We want to be fair and express that we do recognize and appreciate the time and effort that did go into parts of our weekend. But unfortunately, the services we paid for in full--particularly regarding design, setup, and coordination--were not delivered as agreed. Because of the amount of decor left unused, key missed details, and a clear discrepancy between what was promised and what was executed, we have requested a partial refund and were denied having that conversation with her and she held potential "Over time" costs over are head and lied about how late she stayed. This isn't the review we hoped to write, but it's an honest one. Our goal here is not to be cruel, but to be transparent for other couples who may be considering K. Rose Events for future brides to be aware of what they are paying for and getting, and more so to advocate for fair service when significant money, time, and dreams are involved. read more

The day was absolutely, 100% perfect. Like people say, minor things will go wrong, or last minute changes will happen, and that happened the day of - but I had no idea. We booked her decor package, which meant she set all our decor up the day of, and we also used some of her decor. Like everything in a post-Covid era, wedding prices have gone up, and I was met with extreme sticker shock. Although I wanted that perfect wedding that all girls dream of, I was not willing to bankrupt myself over one day of my life. Gotta plan for the future! I am admittedly a type-A personality and would have moments waking up in cold sweat thinking of another logistical problem that could go wrong on the big day. We had a few hiccups during the day so check the following: Our seating chart was backwards so family ended up seated far away. Make sure you have someone you trust in charge of the cards. We had 3 go missing with over $500 cash in just one of them. Make sure your planner introduces herself to the parents and main people in the party.
