If you like fast appointments then this is not the right practice for you. I was able to sit and chat with the doctor about my son for an hour and a half, and get into detail about his health history. I have never felt more heard, as a parent. I am happy to know that my child's doctor actually cares about his well-being, and doesn't see him as a statistic, like the practice that we switched from. This is a small (1 doctor) practice, and Doctor Fasehun and Samia are the best! We really appreciate their care! The direct phone number sends the majority of calls to a call center outside of the clinic. No one is informed or helpful at the call center, that's why the patients dial the direct clinic number. Each time my family has an appointment, processes have changed and there is new red tape and hurdles to jump through. My children all take medication daily. Getting their intended, planned and scheduled refills between appointments is an absolute nightmare. We are in every 90 days for required check ups and are treated each time like they don't know us and ask the same questions as if it is not medication the children have been on for over a decade. We are treated like we are new rather than the fact that all their staff has turned over and they are all the new faces. The staff does not take the time to know their patients and their families. It is like a factory reset each time we walk in the front door. I'm shocked at the lack of care or concern they have for vulnerable children.

My children have been seeing the same pediatrician since 2017. Last year, he moved to this clinic. Today, my boys were to be seen for their well-children visits. My oldest has a skin condition, and wearing a mask for even a short period of time causes a viral wound to open on his face and he will have this open wound for weeks. He is on a daily maintenance antiviral to prevent this wound from opening, even without mask wearing. This med is prescribed and managed by a dermatologist WITHIN THE CHILDRENS' WI SYSTEM. When I spoke with both the nurse and the clinic manager, they told me that they didn't care what the mask would do to my son's face, that my children would not be seen unless my oldest was wearing a mask. Three hours later and my children are now established with a non-CHW pediatrician. My children will still be seen by their specialists at other clinics. It's clear that this clinic does NOT put their patients' physical well-being first.
