Dr Boton came every day to make sure he was being tended to the right way. Dr Mirchandani was always so pleasant to us even with the 2:00 AM calls for first time parents. I think he tries to educate his patients (and parents) while there, and let them know what he thinks is going on. The office is full of nurses and ladies at the front desk. The ladies are usually friendly, and listen to what you need. The office itself is bright, and clean. There's a series of small, private exam rooms. The office has always been able to accommodate getting us in when needed. I'm a bit attached to Good Shepherd Hospital and associated buildings. I have come to the Good Shepherd facilities since I was a kid, myself. My own pediatrician was in this same Doctor's building. I started bringing my son here when we lived in Algonquin. We moved to Buffalo Grove about 5 years ago, and I STILL make the drive out to Barrington to see him, which goes to show how much I like him - because it's quite a drive to get there. Would I recommend Dr. Beckerman?ABSOLUTELY.

In a nutshell, Dr. Beckerman, while having a positive and upbeat manner, completely missed a diagnosis of strep throat in my daughter. I went in on a Monday morning, my daughter had had a temperature of 101-103 for 3 days and coughing and a sore throat. He told me she was "basically fine" and that whatever she had, it was a virus and it would "play itself out". I was surprised by this and told him I was sure there had to be something, as my daughter was wanting long naps and telling me it hurt when she swallowed, etc. He laughed it off, gave me mini-lecture on viruses and told me that she could go back to school the next day if she had no fever. I thought, well, hell, he's the doctor....ok. So we went home and her fever did go away and so I sent her to school the next day, even though she still had a sore throat...but it's the second week of school and she was dying to go back. On Tuesday, I called the doctor again and spoke to his nurse that assured me, that it was most likely still a virus and that if she still had a fever or sore throat by Friday, to give them a call. I was dubious, but hello, they are the professionals, right? By Wednesday, the sore throat persisted and she was starting to cry when she was swallowing...and she'd developed hives. Whoa... Took her to immediate care, where they were baffled as to how Dr. Beckerman had missed the redness of the throat and swollen glands. I mentioned that he didn't look at her throat and they shook their heads and suggested we talk to him about her having strep now. I get that doctors aren't God, of course not! But...Dr. Beckerman rushed through the appointment, didn't really listen to what a mother was trying to say...we are the best advocates for our children, and we know them best. He ignored my suggestions and essentially told me that he knew better. But he didn't. And my daughter was sick for two extra days because he was WRONG. And she exposed all the kids in her class and on the bus and guess what? Now *I* have strep and my husband will probably be next. Frustrating When I called him to talk about this, I thought I'd get empathy and consideration for what happened. Nope. Dr. Beckerman was defensive and talked over my comments. Even went as far as to say that I must not have said anything about her having a sore throat. I was agape at his rude tone and the fact that not once did he ask how she was and if she had improved. No...it was all about him and his repuation. Very sad. I told him that I fgured that we'd go elsewhere and he let me know that he was "fine with that" and hung up. Nice and gee, very professsional. We'll be on the hunt for a new pediatrician...Dr. Beckerman might be more suited to older kids, but I know that he won't be getting our business or the business of anyone who asks my opinion on finding a new pediatrician.

I was also charged more for a visit that took less time and testing than the one a week prior. It seems they charge whatever they feel like at the time and not based on actual provided services. They charged my card BEFORE I received the bill and refuse to delete my billing information. Emphasis is placed on making as much $$ as possible and not providing care. You just lost 2 patients over $50.

You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and their families. She consistently goes above and beyond in a way that's hard to find, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing my son is in such good hands. I'm so grateful we found her.

Let's be real who was gung-ho about taking their kids to any doctor during the pandemic? . So as for the PC being changed not true. Because of that, we were especially disappointed by the way we were treated. We recently received a call informing us that our insurance was no longer accepted, even though we are in the middle of the year. To better understand the situation, we did a three-way call with BlueCross Blue Shield and a representative from Sander's. Unfortunately, the Sander's representative, Jennifer, was extremely rude throughout the conversation - not only to us, but also to the BlueCross representative. She repeatedly interrupted us while we were trying to ask questions and, numerous times during the call, announced that she was "leaving the call" even though we were still trying to understand what was happening and had unanswered questions. It felt like she was more interested in ending the conversation than helping us. To make matters even more unprofessional, she answered another phone call while she was still on the line with us. We could hear her entire conversation, making it obvious that she was no longer listening to us or focused on resolving our concerns. We were honestly shocked by how dismissive and unprofessional the entire interaction was. We completely understand that insurance contracts and coverage can change. What is not acceptable is treating patients with disrespect when they are simply trying to understand their options for their children. Families deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect, and unfortunately that was completely lacking in our experience. Based on this experience, we would absolutely not recommend Sander's Court Pediatrics to any family looking for a pediatric practice that values its patients.

I can't say good enough things about our experiences at Sanders Court with their doctors and office…read morestaff. We have been going there for 5 years now with my 3 girls (10, 8, & 5) and we are so happy with our care. The girls see Dr Breen regularly and she has gone above and beyond to help me deal with lots of surprising medical issues my children have had in the past 5 years. She took the time to talk with me and help guide me when some of my older daughters' specialists didn't agree on the route of care. And she is so knowledgeable, when I am in with one of my girls if I need to ask about the others, she remembers everything and can easily keep up with me when I am switching from kid to kid, which is very impressive. When we go in for sick visits, all of the doctors are very helpful and easy to work with! They always listen and have also helped from the sick visits with recommendations for my kids overall care. We also have an HMO so I work very closely with Jennifer, the referral coordinator, who is beyond amazing! She responds quickly and is always very helpful. With my 3 kids at some points, we were seeing up to 10 specialists, and Jennifer got me the referrals I needed quickly and has also gone above and beyond just being an amazing supportive person to work with and helping a mom navigate all these appts, tests, procedures, etc that her kids have needed!

I get there my son gets checked but I didn't get the form when I asked for it I got told I had to wait 3-5 buisness days to get the form. Receptionist Wth?! Are you going to retype the form and write the form in hand Wth! So now my son will be missing school for a week thanks for the inconvenience! I'm definitely switching pediatricians. Took my other son not long ago for a diagnosis "empitigo" and the "Dr"/ "pediatrician" said it was just a scab. Had to take my son to urgent care cause it got worse urgent care actually treated it like should've! Dr. CHARO is literally the only legit nicest doctor! Everyone else is horrible. I have blue cross blue shield PPO insurance I'm not asking for a favor I'm asking for you to do your job get me my form the same day I made the appointment for. I've never gotten a physical form 3-5 days later in any other pediatricians office. UNPROFESSIONAL!!! (UPDATE!) finally pulling my kids out of this practice. I gave it another chance but this time I called to make an appointment they couldn't see my 3 kids for immunizations because my account was locked due to front desk not doing their job like taking in copays or even so updating their software since "they can't see when someone has copay" yet they have money to remodel and add more office space. Donna or Sherryl whatever her name is specifically said that if I knew I had to pay copay and I pay at other doctors I should've told front desk and had paid with them as well. They accumulated copayments up $500 & blamed it on me and wouldn't see my kids until I pay that. She obviously couldn't even apologize or take fault she kept blaming me. Manager needs to update the software or train front desk correctly I asked for my kids medical records and said she "no you have to pay the balance first" I have a child with ADHD and need records for treatment but still she said they had rights to withhold my kids medical records. I did what I'm suppose to after calling my attorney I printed out release of medical record form filled it in went in to turned it in and now I shall see if they have the right or not. Office has 30 days otherwise they will hear from my attorney. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE PRACTICE OUR CHILDREN DESERVE DOCTORS THAT ACTUALLY CARE. All they do is pile fees and bills and they always have to be right.

We love Dr. Baker, Dr. Charo, and Dr. Lee-Holmes have become like members of our family over the years. (The kids especially love that Dr. Charo has nicknames for them and that he does a cool Darth Vader impression.)
