Dr Boton came every day to make sure he was being tended to the right way. Dr Mirchandani was always so pleasant to us even with the 2:00 AM calls for first time parents. We recently received a call informing us that our insurance was no longer accepted, even though we are in the middle of the year. To better understand the situation, we did a three-way call with BlueCross Blue Shield and a representative from Sander's. Unfortunately, the Sander's representative, Jennifer, was extremely rude throughout the conversation - not only to us, but also to the BlueCross representative. She repeatedly interrupted us while we were trying to ask questions and, numerous times during the call, announced that she was "leaving the call" even though we were still trying to understand what was happening and had unanswered questions. It felt like she was more interested in ending the conversation than helping us. To make matters even more unprofessional, she answered another phone call while she was still on the line with us. We could hear her entire conversation, making it obvious that she was no longer listening to us or focused on resolving our concerns. We were honestly shocked by how dismissive and unprofessional the entire interaction was. We completely understand that insurance contracts and coverage can change. What is not acceptable is treating patients with disrespect when they are simply trying to understand their options for their children. Families deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect, and unfortunately that was completely lacking in our experience. Based on this experience, we would absolutely not recommend Sander's Court Pediatrics to any family looking for a pediatric practice that values its patients.

We have been going there for 5 years now with my 3 girls (10, 8, & 5) and we are so happy with our care. The girls see Dr Breen regularly and she has gone above and beyond to help me deal with lots of surprising medical issues my children have had in the past 5 years. She took the time to talk with me and help guide me when some of my older daughters' specialists didn't agree on the route of care. And she is so knowledgeable, when I am in with one of my girls if I need to ask about the others, she remembers everything and can easily keep up with me when I am switching from kid to kid, which is very impressive. When we go in for sick visits, all of the doctors are very helpful and easy to work with! They always listen and have also helped from the sick visits with recommendations for my kids overall care. We also have an HMO so I work very closely with Jennifer, the referral coordinator, who is beyond amazing! She responds quickly and is always very helpful. With my 3 kids at some points, we were seeing up to 10 specialists, and Jennifer got me the referrals I needed quickly and has also gone above and beyond just being an amazing supportive person to work with and helping a mom navigate all these appts, tests, procedures, etc that her kids have needed!

We just had our second daughter she is now Dr. Patels patient as well. We drive an extra 30 minutes just so we know are babies are well taken care of. One thing I would recommend is bringing a small swaddler or blanket for the baby because the doctor has to weigh them bare skinned so just a good thing to bring. Dr. Shakir and Dr. Gronli are our great favorites, but each doctor we have interacted with at the different branches has been very good, and I think most or many at West Chicago are bilingual. Biggest tip: the West Chicago location does not have its own phone number. You will be directed to the main office location in Naperville which is extremely busy. Two hacks for avoiding the long wait on hold: --Schedule your next checkup at the end of each visit (obviously) --Start a conversation via text in order to schedule an appointment or get a call back from a nurse with the main phone number. Due to personal issues, we did pay the bills behind schedule but always paid in full and never sent to collections. Additionally, we had discussed in the past the inability to put a credit card on file due to having to pay from different accounts depending on the month but they told the pharmacist when attempting my childs refill that they dismissed us because of the lack of credit card on file. The practice manager is extremely rude with no decorum. I cannot believe this is the way patients are treated that have an established relationship with providers. My son who has been a patient since infant is now 12 and recently diagnosed with autism. Our last appointment he talked with Dr. Turner about it and said he wanted to talk to her again so he can understand more. My kids are devastated. It's the only pediatricians office I've ever taken my kids to. I absolutely love the staff, they greet you at the door they help you carry things to your car if you don't have enough hands. And I think the doctors at this office are more than understanding and they go above and beyond to take care of their patients kids. I see Dr. Michael O'Donnell and he is absolutely fabulous. He takes the time with each patient to make them feel special and takes their needs into consideration. One of my sons's a little bit below the spectrum, Dr. O'Donnell well demonstrate things to his stuffed animal before he does them to him. Extremely sweet and caring, I wouldn't want to take my kids anywhere else. I read all the nasty reviews of this place but like I said I'm pretty positive this place did a complete 180. Please don't let the negative reviews turn you away. We live all the way in Woodstock we drive to Schaumburg whenever we need to go to the doctors office. And for the negative reviews saying that sometimes they have to sit on hold when they call that happens everywhere. But I've never had to sit on hold for longer than 10 minutes and that's only when they are extremely packed usually around vaccination time.
