Just been to the willow farm cramlington with family for Sunday dinners. Been a couple times before seemed okay. However their customer service is appalling. Took my daughter to the toilets (next to the kids play area) and came back out to our table just next to them. Immediately smelt poo and seen that it was on bottom of my daughter's trainer. Couldn't for the life of me figure out how it got there, took her shoe back into toilet, nothing in toilet bar imprint footsteps, opened the door and there was human shit on the floor outside the girls toilet and unfortunately it ended up being my kid who stepped in it. My sister told staff and sister in law helped try wash my kids shoe. Brand new trainers first time she worn them today!! Absolutely disgusting!! Stood at the toilets trying to wash and wipe down her trainer. Took 10 minutes until a member of staff came in didn't say anything apart from asking where it was on the floor then left. She gave my sister a plastic bag assuming for my daughter's shoe. Another ten minutes go by more people trying to come into the toilet and I told them myself that there was shit on the floors so advised them to go to the other toilets. That's when the lady came back who I think may have been a manager with another lady member of staff. By this point my 3 year old daughter's crying her eyes out as realised it was on the leg of her pants after crossing her legs on the chair so I had to throw her pants in the bin in the toilets. This happened as well as my child crying breaking her heart just outside all Infront of these 2 members of staff who had just come to clean the toilet floors. Not one were bothered. I voiced my opinion sternly saying how upset I was that this has happened, not the fact a child has obviously had an accident, the fact that staff haven't been helpful at all. The younger lady piped up and said well it's not our fault, it's out of our control but we apologise. All the while just looking at the floor and in a defensive tone. Next thing the manager staff said So are you going out? (The door) so I left the toilet to where my family were outside of there. I understand it's out of their control not their fault yes it was an accident that's not the reason why I was angry, but not one of them asked if we were ok or asked if my daughter who was crying her eyes out ok, not one apologised until I said something and even then it was a very defensive cba attitude and tone. Not one came over to me my daughter or family to see us or apologise for inconvenience. Instead I got a shitty attitude off them and was made to feel like it was my fault and my daughter's fault for standing in it in the first place!!! Spent £35 in there and for what! Worst customer service iv ever experienced I work in retail and would never go on like that with customers!! I wouldn't have even been bothered too much if the customer service had of been helpful and pleasant but it was shocking and I've left feeling embarrassed and asif we have done wrong.
