This thing was really stuck and Paul would not give up. He got it out after an incredible amount of work. - Courteous. Paul cleaned up everything after the job very thoroughly. - Went the extra mile. Paul noticed that we were missing a plug on our disposal so he drove to the hardware store, bought one, and came back to install it, saving me the trouble. We hired LDA to fully build a closet in our bedroom and they came through for us in a huge way! We…read morehad just bought our condo in JP and our small two-bedroom place had one tiny closet. One of the bedroom had space, so LDA helped us plan a closet build. We were on a tight deadline, as we were having them build it the week before we planned to move-in, and we were on a budget. They arrived at the condo on the day we agreed to, walked through a plan with us, and then agreed to come back 3 days later with materials and begin the work. My partner and I made sure one of us were there each of the 4 days they spent working on the closet. They built the frame, installed drywall, poles, and shelves, matched the vintage trim, and even built a cabinet above the closet! We wanted to save money, so they left it unfinished for us to sand and paint, which we asked for and were grateful that they gave us that option! They were incredibly accommodating, even changing the project slightly halfway through when we asked for something different. They cleaned up afterwards and were so kind and thoughtful throughout the process. Lastly, I asked for a last minute project to flip our bathroom door around so that it would swing out instead of in and they did this project for us before leaving. All around, this is the best, most affordable experience I've had with a contractor! Communication was wonderful, timing was perfect (a rarity when working with contractors I've found), and Lanna was eager to meet our expectations. I have nothing but good things to say. Appointments made at 8/9…read moreAM wouldnt show up until 12 pm so we have to wait to open the door for them sometimes wouldnt even show up. Every week the employees wouldn't even be the same they threw their food and trash in the back without picking it up. Left materials and trash. When not showing up won't even respond or pick up the phone to tell you they can't make it. The people they hire are not bad workers nor are they at fault they did their job and well however the communication and management was so absurdly awful specifically Lanna. The painters were great and kind, the construction portion was also kind and nice although they didn't come on time. If you have something that can be done in one day she will somehow make it a week. Miscommunications at every turn to the point where I would have rather just hired the people she brought instead of her. She asked for 50% right off the bat and we payed that then she decides not to pay her employees which is why we randomly see new people every other week. She abuses her employees to the point where one of them even asked us to speak with her about paying them for the work they did. Please just spend the extra buck and find someone better.
