We had old oil-based orangey wood in the hallways, which they sanded and matched perfectly to the new wood. We then went with a beautiful water based poly that he recommended. His crew worked hard, showed up on time and finished on time. We could not have been happier with their work!

Paul R. and Bob provided great advice in the store and on the project before we got started and their team did a beautiful job at a reasonable price. They are also extremely knowledgeable about flooring and provided lots of help in decisions about a wide variety of issues we encountered and the tile installed. Could not ask for a better experience or outcome. I've already asked them to replace other floors in foyers and bathrooms in the house. If you need new flooring, you should definitely visit them - you won't be disappointed!

Both floors are exceptional. His prices are very fair, he doesn't try to price gouge you like the big stores do. Both of my floors were installed within ~6 hours each time (~150sqft each). I can't recommend Nam enough if you're looking for a hardwood flooring install in the greater Boston area.

The said they could do it, and we agreed on a fee for leveling the floor. Great. But then they didn't level the floor. The installer said it wasn't necessary when I came home and he was 3/4 done with the floor. When I complained about the final result, they didn't offer to take up the flooring and level it to make it right. They did remove the charge for leveling the floor but otherwise charged us full price for the install. 6 years later and our floor has been awful ever since Day 1 and I still hate how bouncy it is in many spots and its now starting to pull apart. I already need to pay for a new floor when should have lasted 15 years or more. I will say everyone we spoke with was kind and never rude, even if they didn't offer to make it right.

Upon entering the store they seemed pretty helpful although the man Who 'helped' me was pretty ripe. I could smell him through my mask which wasn't a good sign. That aside we discussed what I was looking for, he walked around with a calculator and gave me an estimate but made no effort to write down what I had wanted. Apparently that's the customers job and then when I called to get a final price I was scolded and told that they wouldn't help me because I questioned the actual quote that was sent to me. Don't call the owner A.J. or the manager they clearly don't care nor do they want to discuss what my questions were. The store didn't have AC. It was hot. The management was lackadaisical and they clearly don't need your business!

Prior to going to The Tile Source I went to other places and I was struggling with choosing a backsplash for my kitchen. I made an appointment and brought in several photos of my kitchen then explained what my vision was. Stacey showed me several different tiles that complimented my kitchen and then gave me some time to look them all over. Little did I know while she was giving me unhurried time alone to decide which samples I would take home, she was at the other end of the store putting together some beautiful accent tiles that she thought I might like for under my hood. They were beautiful! I ended up going with the tile I liked most with the accent tile that Stacey picked out herself. She knew that they went well together. She even recommended a tile guy who also ended up being amazing! I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. Stacey and Jen were both really attentive and helpful. They were both very responsive to emails and phone calls. They were both extremely helpful and they both truly care about their clients. Their prices are reasonable, but even if they're slightly higher it is totally worth it because they go above and beyond to give you a 5 star experience, which you can not get online or at larger stores.
