Not only were her teachers in both classrooms amazing in helping her grow, they were truly instrumental in her transitioning smoothly to a big sister at home. She has learned so much in the classroom but also immensely increased her social skills and having fun with friends! One thing I really love about Dreamers is, the other childcare professionals, not just my child's direct teachers, all know her by name and clearly love and care for her. We are starting new baby in the infant room next year and are not nervous (although bittersweet) in leaving her in the capable hands of Dreamers.

I was worried about the transition from in-home care to a daycare setting, but my boys quickly fell in love with their teachers, their playmates and the structure of their day. My youngest son is special needs, and I was particularly concerned about how he would adapt. Kelly and her staff were happy to put him in a group that better matched his physical and social abilities. His room leads worked with him regularly on the exercises and activities recommended by his many, many therapists to help him make progress, which was over and above what I expected. I also appreciated the "extra" fun events (like pajama day) and curriculum-focused schedule. I feel like my younger kids learned new things every day, coming home singing songs and sharing artwork, activities and new information. We would definitely return! I have a kindergartener who spends half her day at MPCC and half at Westbrook. The daycare gets her on the bus, and provides enrichment for when she's not attending grade school. The director, Mr. Michael, loves his work and my kids adore him too. We looked at many options for daycare before deciding on MPCC and I'd highly recommend this daycare. Once it was time to enroll her somewhere, I kept taking issue with aspects of other day care centers and in-home places. My neighbor has lived in this community for over 25 years so I asked her for help. She suggested MPCCC and added, "they are not new, but they are great." She was totally right, they're great. The building itself isn't new or shiny like a modern one, but it's clean, there is TONS to do, and the staff is caring and nurturing. I believe all of the staff are either attending school for their childhood education degrees or they have a degree already. There are senior staff there who have been in this business for decades. They do tons of inventive activities with the toddlers for sensory play, music and dance, group circle games, and crafts crafts crafts. The outdoor play space may not look like much but it's enough to keep even the older kids excited and busy. The teachers have a large treasure trove of art supplies somewhere and they do endless projects relating to holidays, seasons, cultures, etc. There was a holiday concert where each class sang a few songs with the help of a music instructor. Fire department guests have visited, as well as the Northwestern University football team. My daughter loves her teachers and looks forward to being dropped off each day -- it has become her second home. I look forward to her starting preschool here next year and enrolling my infant son.

They are truly an extension of…read moreour family and have taken phenomenal care of our children - nurturing them and helping them grow, develop, and learn. We have built long-lasting friendships that have survived different elementary schools and activities due to the tight bond the children built while at AMT. The same teachers that welcomed our oldest child when we first started so many years ago are the same teachers that are seeing our youngest child off to kindergarten at the end of this year. The consistency of staffing and lack of turnover are truly unique and it is one of the primary factors that led us to AMT in the first place (and we have not been disappointed!). There will be many tears shed by multiple members of our family when our last child graduates and we move on from this phenomenal, nurturing, home-away-from-home that has been so instrumental in the development of who our children have become. We are eternally grateful for the incredible staff and administration at AMT who have made the lives of these two working parents so much easier and less stressful knowing our children are in the most capable and loving care while away from us.
