Full day 3K, 4K and kindergarten with on-site after school care for working families. Lovely, safe, well-maintained campus. Amazing, talented, big-hearted teachers that give lots of individual attention to each student. Spirited and engaging athletic program. Beautiful faith formation with real attention paid to ethics and good behavior for all students. Academically and developmentally, St. Al's gives kids a big head start on high school and beyond -- we see it year after year in the graduates. Our family has been here seven years now, and the community has been amazing for us. Just an excellent school that gives back everything you put into it and so much more.

Structurally, the church itself is spacious, beautiful, and modern. As for the services, I enjoy listening to invited priests or deacons giving homilies that have personality due to their sharing of personal experiences. The congregation is a mixture of ages and nationalities; plus, the once a month children's mass is delightful and good for any soul to witness. Oh... and their annual German fest is always a barrel of fun! If you are seeking a parish to attend, open the doors to St. Alphonsus Church - where the casual and classy crowd worship with no judgments.

We absolutely love St. Raymond School! We have been part of the community for six years and…read morecurrently have two boys enrolled--one in kindergarten and one in third grade. It has been an incredible experience for our family. St. Raymond is a truly special community. The traditions, strong academics, and genuine care from the teachers and staff make it stand out in every way. The curriculum is both challenging and engaging, encouraging students to think critically, stay curious, and take pride in their work. Teachers provide individualized attention and support, ensuring that each child is both challenged and confident in their learning. We have seen our boys grow tremendously in their academic skills, as well as in their independence and love of learning. Longstanding events like Breakfast with Santa, the Back-to-School Bash in the fall, and the basketball tournaments--where the entire community comes together to cheer on the eighth graders--highlight the strong sense of connection and school spirit. It truly feels like a second home for our children. What makes St. Raymond even more meaningful to our family is its strong foundation in Catholic faith and values. Our boys are growing not only academically, but spiritually as well. Through religion class, daily prayer, and attending Mass, they are developing a deeper understanding of their faith and how to live it out each day. The teachers play an important role in this, guiding them to become kind, compassionate, and respectful individuals. The school also does an excellent job of helping students develop a strong moral compass--teaching them to lead with empathy, make thoughtful choices, and live their faith in everyday life. In addition, the school organizes many service opportunities throughout the year, such as collecting supplies for local veterans, gathering canned goods for the food pantry, and hosting toy drives for children in need. Older students are often given leadership roles in these efforts, helping foster a sense of responsibility and commitment to giving back to the community. What sets this school apart most is the heart of its people. The teachers go above and beyond--not only in the classroom, but in how they support and care for each child. Whether it's attending students' sporting events or sending postcards from their vacations, these small but meaningful gestures speak volumes. Not only have our boys made wonderful friends at St. Raymond, but my husband and I have as well. The parent community is welcoming, down-to-earth, and supportive. We are truly grateful to be part of such a special village. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a school where our boys are growing academically, emotionally, and in their faith. We couldn't ask for a better environment for them to learn and thrive. Thank you, SRS!

They consistently go above and beyond--arriving early and staying late--to ensure their classroom environment is thoughtfully prepared each day. The atmosphere is positive, nurturing, and creative, providing children with the support they need to grow and succeed. Teachers are also highly collaborative, working closely with parents to support each child's development and individual needs. We LOVE St. Peter!…read more We were first introduced to St. Peter by a friend because they offered a preschool program that accepted 3 and 4 year olds which was exactly what we needed as our boys are a year apart. After some time, our daughter who was going to public school in Schaumburg asked if she could transition to St. Peter after seeing the wonderful teachers and welcoming culture they had (and she wanted to learn more about Jesus). After attending a day at St. Peter as a visiting student and giving her winter break to think about it, we decided as a family to move her over and we're so glad that we did. Not only did our daughter get to learn and build a relationship with Jesus Christ, but she also come out so much stronger academically than her friends at in public school. She is now entering her freshman year at high school and has multiple accelerated classes and is preparing to be a 3-sport athlete. On top of the academic preparedness, we have fallen in love with both the school and the church because of its close-knit community. Our family was recently displaced from our home and the amount of support that we've received from the staff and other families of the school has been unreal. If you want your kids to excel academically, grow up in a loving, supportive community and have a true relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, you need to check out St Peter School!

She's tenured and they cannot fire her. She repeatedly yells at my daughter and berates her. Today she saw my daughter showing another student a drawing, she snatched it out of her hand, crumpled it up and left her in tears until the end of the day. She intentionally humiliated her and left her in tears over showing her friend a drawing. I wish I could say this is all that happened but I've had other parents coming up to me questioning me why their own kids are telling them how mean she is to my daughter. DO NOT send your kid to fourth grade here. Mrs. Allor is her name and she should not be teaching children. My name is Jason Pierce. I love the rest of the staff here, from pre through 8th they have great teachers. I personally do not understand why this woman is working with children.

Stay away from St. Walter school in Roselle for as long as the current Principal and the Dean of…read moreStudents are part of the administration. There is favoritism, bullying, incompetence and double standards. I will also mention the Technology teacher and the Spanish teacher who are very incompetent in their teaching skills and dealing with children. This administration utilizes a dojo system for the junior high students (teenagers), a system that other schools in the area used in kindergarten. They penalize kids with negative dojo points for anything, depending on what the teacher feels on that day: It starts with basic needs such as drinking water in class, needing to go to the bathroom, uncharged Chromebook, even trying to ask questions in class if the teacher doesn't know the answer, doesn't feel like answering the question or doesn't like your kid, then dojos are generously given, even 2-3 from same teacher on same period, really anything is a go for students to receive negative dojos (5 dojos=demerits). Teenagers cant develop/express properly at St. Walter School. The son of the Dean of Students that just graduated in May was one of the 8th grade boys that bullied kids but there were no consequences for him, obviously. St Walter school administration is looking to "educate" an army of minions and not leaders of the future. Unless you are one of the major donors or related to the administration, expect that your child will be bullied/neglected/humiliated and nothing will be done about it. Do your research carefully before you decide to send your child at St. Walter/Roselle for as long as the current administration remains.

Parents! READ THIS POST! (Please)…read more As my daughter has been growing up, I have always had the slight "fear" that she needs to be in a, not good, but GREAT school. I do believe that Elementary schools do shape who they will become. This is when their minds are still wanting to absorb information and this is when they are still free-spirited. When I was looking into moving, I was trying very had to find a school nearby. My moving was dedicated to a great school district. I came across an apartment complex and found out about this school in their district. Of course, I did my research on the school before I settled on my lease. After reading about studies and reviews on this school, I gave it a chance. Boy, I could NOT be any HAPPIER. She is enrolled in Kindergarten and the transition mid-year for her was GREAT. When I had toured the school and expressed my concerned that she was transferring schools mid-year, they did take everything into account. When she attended her first week, she LOVED it. Her teacher is VERY attentive to all of her students as well as the parents (this is usually not likely). I was able to contact her teacher with any concern(s) I had via email or phone and she was VERY prompt in her response(s). Each child in the classroom was so well-rounded, as in they were go kind to each other. You were able to tell that they were well disciplined at school in order to come home and implement the same mind-set taught to them. The office staff there in the administration part was not too friendly. When I came in, I get it that I was there at 7am when they opened, but that doesn't excuse their behavior towards me. I had the reaction of "oh goodness" from the staff. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since it was really early. When I came in for several other visits, they did treat me with more respect, acknowledging that they had remembered me (*phew). Now that I have gained my "want" in the office, I realized that the school truly does care. This post could be because I'm still a Noobie to the whole parenting idea, and having my child involved in schools, but this school is truly GREAT. I'm a young mom, and I see the potential in this school to mold my daughter to be a great person.
