I had Lowes do my bathroom countertop earlier than I redid the kitchen, and it was a complete debacle. They contract with someone from Toledo and there were delivery and other issues. Extremely Disappointed - Unprofessional Workmanship and Poor Customer Experience…read more I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Signature has been so frustrating that I feel compelled to share it. What should have been a straightforward countertop installation turned into a 7-week ordeal full of errors, delays, and subpar workmanship. From the very beginning, the quality of the installation was unacceptable. The seam on the island was sloppy and drew immediate attention, outlets didn't fit properly due to poor measurements, the sink alignment was off, and the caulking was carelessly applied. A Side splash was installed on a wall I never approved, and the company did come back to remove it, leaving me to pay my contractor to patch and fix the wall. Despite multiple visits to "fix" the issues, the repairs were never up to standard. The same seam was worked on several times and left looking dull and worn on either side. Instead of using new material, they repeatedly tried to salvage the damaged piece, even suggesting shaving off sections of the quartz -- hardly a professional solution. Communication was often kept professional with the operations manager, Tim, but came across as cold and short during the final visit, which only added to the frustration. After several follow-ups and ongoing dissatisfaction, they finally agreed to remake the island with a new slab. By that point, I had already lost nearly two months of use in my newly renovated kitchen. I expected a professional job and instead got a prolonged, stressful mess. I would not recommend Signature to anyone looking for quality work or good customer service. -- Kaleb S.

We would find decent pieces but they'd always be too short or too wide. It seemed like the perfect piece was going to be impossible to find and we were about to settle on something we didn't love when we stumbled about Alex at Rework Finishings. Alex walked us through some options where he would create a piece for us based on exactly what we wanted. It seemed too good to be true. We took a leap and decided to commission the piece at what was a very fair rate. Just a few weeks later our gorgeous new table was delivered and it blew away our expectations! We had the exact look we desired and paid less than if we had purchased from a high end furniture retailer. We could not be happier with our experience with Rework! We are looking forward to finding another project for our home so that Rework can build us another awesome custom piece!

Picture frames, tables, basically, you name it and, if it's feasible, they'll make it! We were able to make a simple, but classy wood plant vase out of their reclaimed barn wood. We recently needed to purchase carpeting for most of our house and checked with AFS. We stopped and talked to Ed Kilrain and the team in Hillard to get started. Ed also visited our home to capture measurements and got us a quote quickly. We compared their pricing to other Central Ohio locations, and Ed was able to give us the best pricing with installation. It took a little longer to get the carpet than expected (supply chain issues), but once it arrived Ed scheduled us an install date within a few days. Most importantly, the team that did the install was one of the hardest working, efficient teams I have witnessed in a long time. They worked non-stop 8am to 4pm and did an amazing job for our full support job. Moved furniture, ripped out old carpet, and installed the new carpet with no issues. Our house looks amazing. I will always check with the AFS team in Hillard before tackling any project! you should too. Good luck.

Having initially gotten a quotation from Empire, we had a bit of a sense of what to expect in the sales process. Overall, the company did install great carpet and LVP in my home and were quite quick to do so. The installers helped to confirm my LVP was being installed in the direction I wanted and worked quickly, completing the jobs in a few hours. The only reason I didn't provide a 5-star review was for the reasons below: 1) Our sales representative was fine overall, but wasn't the fastest in responding or when I inquired about potentially putting a different pattern of flooring (e.g., planks placed in herringbone), he mentioned he had seen it, but didn't really offer it as an option. 2) The installation team left quite a bit of dust/shoeprints throughout my main floor in getting to the basement. Most other contractors in my home always bring drop cloths to avoid this. 3) We had just had our other contractors complete painting of the walls the previous week and after the installation team we had quite a few marks/scratches on the walls, some spanning multiple feet. 4) When the LVP team showed up and realized they didn't have enough materials, they asked me where they should leave unfinished - I feel like I shouldn't have been involved in the process. I paid for a completely floored basement, I shouldn't be involved in picking which areas are left undone. Still, Tim, their installation manager, did reach out after I reported the issues and was very gracious and willing to either schedule teams to come out or compensate us for our trouble. While I was able to resolve the issues above myself fairly easily, so didn't take him up on his offer, the fact that the company offered it was something I very much appreciated as all contractors will eventually run into issues, but it's how they respond that really makes the difference. Overall, I would likely use America's Floor Source again when we have flooring needs.

Although I only hired him to do one of the three rooms, his company did such an excellent job that I will hire him to do the other work when I am ready. The house had insulation blown in 14 years ago, and there are indentations in all of the walls where this was done. Unlike a previous painter I hired to refresh other rooms, Bryan's painters sanded/filled in-not an expert so I don't know the right term, but the indentations are no longer visible. The room he painted had been charcoal and white for 50+ years and was very dark. Now, it is very bright and refreshing. His workers were professional and efficient and finished the job within the time frame they'd estimated. I highly recommend Bryan for your paint projects.
