I would give The Granite Guy 10 stars if Yelp would let me…read more.. We had a fantastic experience, and would never - ever - work with anyone else again. We've even referred friends + relatives to them (high praise). Our salesman Chad Schirtzinger, his sales manager Chrissy Boasetti, and their fabrication + installation manager Toney Curry were all wonderful to work with - knowledgeable, professional, fair, reasonable, and genuinely nice. They have a big selection of slabs, and a huge room of remnants they can fabricate for smaller jobs, too. We weren't planning to, but found a rem to upgrade the countertop in a half-bath, too. This install was big and challenging - it took 3 huge slabs of matching Quartzite for a giant island and a full-height wall backsplash behind the stove. It took 8 strong men to carry and set the big island slab - I promise we were holding our breath the whole time they were carrying it in. There were a few small hiccups - that's going to happen with a big and complicated job like this. They fixed everything to our satisfaction - no hesitation, no complaints, no problem - they consistently "did the right thing" (which is refreshing and somewhat unusual these days). We kept changing our minds in the design process, and they handled our ideas and frequent changes with expert guidance, kindness and grace. AND... because hard surfaces aren't cheap, and Quartzite is quite expensive (2.5x-3x the cost of granite) - their prices were fair, fair, fair. They were fully 1/3 cheaper than another well-known granite fabricator I've spent a LOT of money with in the past (and never will again). The Granite Guy's prices were fair and reasonable for what we got. I cannot say this strongly enough - we recommend The Granite Guy 100%. 1,000%. 10,000%. Our customer experience with them was awesome and what you'd hope for, their prices were fair, the people are awesome, and we got exactly what we wanted at a price that didn't feel like we were being ripped off (if I show you the quote we got from "those other guys", you'll understand what I mean). This project transformed our kitchen, and our entire home. I've attached pix - check them out. Everyone loves our kitchen now. Thank you, The Granite Guy - you're a classy company full of classy people who understand customer service for a big, scary, expensive project. We loved working with your team, and love the results every time we walk into our kitchen...!!!

It seems the owner and top management care about their customer's complaints and are willing to address issues like these. Today I was able to directly talk with the President of the company in person and he took his time to let me know that the company is already looking to future proof their methods and even ask me for my recommendation of what would I as a customer feel comfortable with for a safer transaction. I have full confidence that this company will keep growing and providing for many more customers for the better. They have remedied my concerns and have been cordial and understanding with my unfortunate experience. I have received my first few orders and will get started working on our new floors. Thank you. Old Review for transparency: The reason Im giving them a bad review is that I was told to write down all my card's info because they can't run it until Monday and this day is a Saturday. It seemed very odd that they would ask that and told me they would call me first on Monday before they run it. I waited all day Monday with no callbacks. I called them back Tuesday and was notified that they have already ran my card a while back and will call me back to let me know about my order (I never got a call back). I check my statement and show it was ran the day I came in on Saturday. Today on, Wednesday I checked my statement again and a FRAUDULENT transaction was made to Walmart.com (probably thinking its a safe bet that many people shop there, Not I, online that is). I called my credit card company to inform them about the fraud and to send me a new card. I called back America's Floor Source to ask about my order and about the fraudulent issue. I was told that I would get a call back from my sales person (I have my doubt about getting a call back.

Picture frames, tables, basically, you name it and, if it's feasible, they'll make it! We were able to make a simple, but classy wood plant vase out of their reclaimed barn wood. Having initially gotten a quotation from Empire, we had a bit of a sense of what to expect in the sales process. Overall, the company did install great carpet and LVP in my home and were quite quick to do so. The installers helped to confirm my LVP was being installed in the direction I wanted and worked quickly, completing the jobs in a few hours. The only reason I didn't provide a 5-star review was for the reasons below: 1) Our sales representative was fine overall, but wasn't the fastest in responding or when I inquired about potentially putting a different pattern of flooring (e.g., planks placed in herringbone), he mentioned he had seen it, but didn't really offer it as an option. 2) The installation team left quite a bit of dust/shoeprints throughout my main floor in getting to the basement. Most other contractors in my home always bring drop cloths to avoid this. 3) We had just had our other contractors complete painting of the walls the previous week and after the installation team we had quite a few marks/scratches on the walls, some spanning multiple feet. 4) When the LVP team showed up and realized they didn't have enough materials, they asked me where they should leave unfinished - I feel like I shouldn't have been involved in the process. I paid for a completely floored basement, I shouldn't be involved in picking which areas are left undone. Still, Tim, their installation manager, did reach out after I reported the issues and was very gracious and willing to either schedule teams to come out or compensate us for our trouble. While I was able to resolve the issues above myself fairly easily, so didn't take him up on his offer, the fact that the company offered it was something I very much appreciated as all contractors will eventually run into issues, but it's how they respond that really makes the difference. Overall, I would likely use America's Floor Source again when we have flooring needs.
