Hubs was able to repair most of the beautiful hardwood floors that were ruined by previous owners but half of our home needed new flooring. Since we live in Ocala, we decided to use Floor & Decor as the option and chose to order online & delivery our first experience. We need countertops for our new kitchen so I suggested to hubs to travel up to the store so we can shop in person and browse options. We also want to weight out price options between different stores. We arrived in the early evening and it was not busy. As soon as we were about to enter the store, we were greeted very enthusiastically by an employee. It was so nice and welcoming. This store is massive! We decided to walk around the entire store since it was our first time here. I was surprised of the imbalance of product genres. Eventually, we located where the countertops were and it was the smallest section of this warehouse size store. Once we located the countertop section, we found very limited options but decided to pull samples together. There are areas where you can put samples together and see how everything looks. After we did that, we decided to leave. Upon walking out, an employee who was working the designing desk offered his card and informed us the services Floor & Decor provides, including someone coming to the home and assisting in ordering, designing, and providing estimates. We were also greeted on the way out of the store. The employees were really nice.

So, if you have teams working multiple sites in various locations, a national company like Johnstone might be a good option, especially if you have an account with them. You have to travel about 1/2 mile on a Mud Pit of a road, and after you pay it's up to you to find where they are cutting the sod in the field. Worst road I have been on - ever! Then trying to pay with a little Day Care going on inside the office was totally ridiculous. Finally, the men working the farm itself were not friendly and almost annoyed they had someone come in for a Sod pickup. I didn't even want Bahia Sod, which is known to die off after 5-7 years. I'm used to bad service from Sod Farms, but this place was a mess!

I'll never step in Pinch a Penny again as this was not the first time that I had a bad experience there. I'll be glad to drive totally across town in order to deal with quality customer service driven people like Tamara at Backyard Water pool supplies.

I came into the store and ordered a mattress a week ago. I was ASSURED multiple times that the…read moremattress would arrive in 4-7 days at most. However, online my tracking information says it will arrive in TWO MONTHS! I promptly called the manager and she said she would get back to me about when it will be delivered. It has been a WEEK and no call back, when I try to call the store no one answers. The manager kept telling me to wait for a tracking email but it's been a week and I still haven't gotten one. Worst experience I've ever had simply trying to buy a mattress.

Don't waste your money, buy from anywhere else!…read more 1) Staff at store do not know what is "available" to sell, items go on back order and the consumer isn't told until days or weeks later. 2) Delivery is handled by independent contractors out of their warehouse in Jacksonville. They only give you the delivery time frame the day before the delivery around 6pm. 3) This store and their warehouse are separate entities and do not communicate with each other. They cannot help customers appropriately and blame the issue on the other side. 4) Sale staff and Management at the store are unprofessional and unwilling to take responsibility for issues that arise. Everything is always someone else's fault. My story: I purchased 3 beds, one for each of my kids and one for myself and my wife. They scheduled the delivery for my kids beds 7 days from when I purchased them and 14 days for my bed. But they weren't able to give me a time frame until the day prior to delivery (at 6pm). My kids beds were scheduled to be delivered between 3-5pm but the truck didn't show up till almost 6:30pm. My bed ended up being on "indefinite" back order, but I wasn't told about it until a week after I made the purchase. I had to go back to the store and choose another one. The day before delivery, I get told the time is 11am. Both my wife and I work and we couldn't do 11am, we called the store and were assured that the time was changed to 3pm. The truck arrived at my house around 11am and when no one was home, they loaded the bed back up and left. I called the store to complain and was told that the warehouse are independent contractors and the store can't really do anything to fix it or have it delivered today. The manager claimed the issues weren't his fault or his employees and that the bed manufacturer was to blame for the back order and the warehouse was to blame for the delivery method/issues. He then stated I would have to wait to have the bed delivered whenever the warehouse was able to deliver it.
