Given the fact my cat is a picky eater, the limited offerings. Likewise, I noticed very few if any cat treats. This is a store that is pro-dog all the way. She had just been seen 2 months earlier and I had talked with the vet about several of my concerns and the vet said that my concerns are attributed to her getting older. At that time, I wish she had taken the time to discuss with me how to help a senior dog to grow old gracefully and things that can/should be done with an older dog. That did not occur, nor did she suggest blood tests and or x-rays. I will never know if the blood draw or x-rays could have helped (I had had blood drawn for a CBC a year earlier for a baseline). There is an art to guiding an animal companion through their golden years. Unfortunately, this vet practice maybe good for puppies and middle age pets. If you are using them, really question them hard if you feel they are not sharing your concerns. I have since rescued my new companion and have started with a new office. Our new veterinarian listens, really listens, and gives suggestions EVEN in COVID times.
