The person on the phone said they'd have to run the insurance card to verify so we went on in. When we got there they wouldn't verify that they would accept our insurance, even with the card, and wouldn't see my wife unless they scanned our credit card in advance. I don't know about the docs but the front desk was not helpful. We left and went a couple blocks down the street to Eminence Urgent Care and it was great.

Called today to simply ask if my dr was going to be sending off my urine for a culture, because not every place does that. Some just test u and give u results on if u have a UTI or not. The receptionist said "if she said she's going to send it off then she's going to send it off" I said "thats why i'm calling, to see if she is GOING to be sending it off, she never told me that she was" & she continued to talk to me sarcastically & rude, NEVER messaged the dr or went to ask, and then said "MY GOSH" before hanging up the phone with me. Ma'am, u need to go work at McDonald's, they love hiring people with your attitude and trust, I'm gonna meet you with the same attitude the next time I see you. Do better. I'm a new patient for primary care, so I was required to come an hour early to fill out paperwork (the entire visit including new patient paperwork and then bloodwork in the lab after my examination took right around two hours total). There's nothing significant to say about the office--it's your run-of-the-mill doctor's office with fluorescent lighting, a few magazines, and a TV on the wall tuned to HGTV. I was, however, impressed with the level of care. I met the nurse (Nikki) first, and she was very receptive and friendly as she weighed me and took my blood pressure. I waited for about 15 minutes in the examination room before Dr. Looney saw me. He was also great--very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He asked me a lot of questions about my previous doctors and care, and was very attentive as he allowed me to ask all the questions I had for him. After my visit, he led me back to Nikki's station to make my next appointment, and then they sent me off to the lab (the bloodwork is done at Quest Diagnostics, which is a laboratory on the same floor as the doctor's office). I also like the fact that they use MyChart, which is an online portal where you track your exam/test results, bloodwork, prescriptions, and future appointments. This patient portal also allows you to send notes directly to the doctor between visits. Overall, I enjoyed and appreciated this new practice and everyone who worked there. Now that I'm officially in their system, I'm hoping the next visit won't take quite as long.

He is a very bad primary physician and shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine! If you go in sick instead of giving you a broad spectrum antibiotic he waits for lab work to show your white blood cell count is high then waits for no reason to finally call in a antibiotic so you are sick for 2-3 more days without antibiotics! I know I am a pharmacist ! I made a review about him before instead of calling me and discussing my issues he just didn't even care whether my health care mattered I didn't write a review to be bad but he forced me to write a review!

The office is kind of run down looking, but they are supposed to be moving into a new facility any day now. The office staff is normally polite and helpful. Dr Alred herself is soft spoken, patient, and kind. She takes a lot of time with you and gets a thorough history. I was also appreciative of the fact that she answered all of my questions and didn't talk down to me like some doctors have a tendency of doing. They offer in house laboratory services, which is nice than being sent out somewhere else for labs. If you have to call the office for anything, the staff responds to your request in a timely manner.
