One star for charging sales tax on two bottles of cinnamon. It is in the computer system as a cocktail item when it is a non-taxable spice in the state of Florida. This rating is earned for directing me to corporate who then directed me back to the manager of the store who then said that the computer couldn't be updated to reflect food versus alcohol. Terrible customer service runaround for an undeniable mistake. read more

I love Williams Sonoma.. and this location is great. I come here mostly for the perishables.. my dad loves all their sauces and spices, and I'm not at all ashamed to come search the sale areas to get them on super sale. The staff here is always very nice, and once they notice I'm searching the sale bins and racks, they give me recommendations and spot out more I hadn't noticed. read more

This place is a joke. I received a gift card for Christmas and have not been able to use it. Third attempt to visit here- all at different times of day and different days of the week and they are never open! Don't trust online schedule. This lastest instance, posted closing time was 6pm and they were "closed for inventory" an hour earlier. We called to ask if they would reopen and they confirmed they would not because they would have to work later then. Uh...is that not your job? Just change the closing time and it's understandable, but for customers making a hell of a drive counting on your schedule being accurate- it's an inconvenience to say the least. read more

Honestly, I have yet to find a retailer that offers such a promising warranty like Williams-Sonoma does. Pots and pans are something you shouldn't skimp yourself on but since my current set is still in great shape, luckily I can wait a bit before coming back for a fully matching collection. If you're like me, the kitchen has become your favorite spot to improve in your house. All it took was one enthusiastically overdone trio to the farmers market that landed me here in attempt to bottle and package my spice rack like the people on Pinterest do. It only took me about 20 seconds to realize that I also needed new spatulas and tongs. If there's a specific type of dish you're looking for and can't find elsewhere, I can almost guarantee they sell it here. Also, their website has loads of wonderfully inspiring pieces for the garden as well as dining sets for the dinner party of your dream. Some items can be picked up in store while others require shipping and are not sold in store; keep that in mind while choosing your cart wisely. I love Merrick Park so coming here for key pieces is always an enjoyable experience. I always receive compliments on my dishes from here. You just gotta be selective when strolling the aisles because it's easy to get overly excited and overspend. I love the decanter I purchased here. I normally love Williams Sonoma and buy the vast majority of my kitchen tools there. However my husband bought me a very expensive knife set for Christmas and one of the items had a defect. I called to see if that item could be replaced and was told no I would have to call the knife company. When I respectfully expressed my disappointment in their inability to troubleshoot and come up with a solution, I was told have a nice day and hung up on. Not exactly what I would expect from a reputable company like William Sonoma. read more

Not only do I love every little cooking gadgets they sell at Williams-Sonoma (and I want to all), I love the technique classes they offer on Sundays. Marcia, the official teacher at this WS location. She's from Brazil and is a La Cordon Bleu graduate. She is very nice and very knowledgeable of her craft. I have attended 2 classes so far, one on making Paella and one on Knife Techniques. I think the cooking classes are great for everyday cooks because it lets you spice up your cooking and allows you to add special twists to your meals. As far as the technique classes, it definitely helps you to get to know your tools and to use them in the best way they are designed for. These classes are great for foodies like us. read more

I love this store. I am a wannabe foodie, so that might explain my adoration for it. It has some great high end cooking supplies, as well as a good selection of cook books and dinner wear. I took my dad there because he wanted to buy me something for my apartment. I ended up choosing the Peugeot Salt and Pepper grinders in curry which ran for $55 each. They are reasonably priced for being such a life long purchase. I was also able to snag a mix of pepper corns for $12 and a cylinder of sea salt for $11. The sales staff was beyond knowledgeable and very friendly. One think that caught my eye was they carried sparkly decorating sugar, and I thought 'Oh My Gosh, how fun!' I wish I could hit this store every weekend and stock my kitchen with such great tools. But for now you know if you eat at my place everything will be well seasoned! read more

Most places under this name are great to find kitchen gadgets and utensils. I personally like the one in Merrick Park Mall best because the staff is the best I have seen and they are very generous with their time and don't rush you into choosing something you don't want or need. Don't get me wrong you will see things you don't need but want there but that's different. I would also suggest the cake mixes and the spices, some of the best I have found without traveling outside of the U.S. I was say if you need something for the kitchen or even an idea what to cook ask them they can give you some advice. And by the way the classes they teach are a wealth of knowledge. And the manager Rolly is great. read more

I love all their sauces! Most people would come here to purchase kitchen items, however I love the sauces that they have! They have so many different vinaigrettes, my favorites are the raspberry and roasted garlic parmesan ones! You can put them on salads or dip your bread in them they are absolutely delectable. they have a really bad service to pay attention to, place an online order to pick up according to the advertising in an hour and it's been more than 12 hours and they do not even have my order in the store, they call me customer service cancel the order and when I call them they tell me they can not do anything because my order is to pick them up at the store and they are the ones who must cancel my order. I call the store again and when I expose my claim that they have a deceptive advertisement, they tell me that this is not the case, because an error can simply happen at any time. those of the store had to call customer service so that they are the ones who canceled my order and now I have to wait for them to send an email at some point indicating that my order was canceled. My status now is that I needed the product for today. I do not have the product, I do not have the money back and I did not even get an apology for not complying with my order. read more

Until today, I loved this store. My Christmas gift hand mixer is broken---took it in, hopefully to be replaced, or at least to get advice about getting it repaired. Before I could complete my sentence about "my mixer is . . . ." the clerk told me to look at the framed "return policy" and walked away from me. When I asked about talking to the manager, I was told she was "out." So I left the mixer for them to throw away. Customer service in Coral Gables? Nope. I don't plan to return. read more
