I took my 1994 Jeep Wrangler to them to diagnose a clicking sound coming from my engine. Not only did they find it, they fixed it in a short amount of time. They also replaced my transmission on such Jeep. My Jeep has never run so good. Someone mentioned in a review these people where not to be Trusted. It's funny that many I mean many people recommend this place. I come from Ocean Spring to take my cars to them. I have never had but honestly and high integrity from everyone at Coles. We agreed to the $189 diagnostic check out, but was charged an additional diagnostic chemical block test fee without prior approval from us or discussion upon drop off. I witnessed the entire discussion myself. He received a quote of $1,080 to replace the electrical cooling fan and module. I told him to deny the repair, as that is complete insane pricing. He questioned the unapproved additional diagnostic fee, we were fine with the $189 and it was reduced to $280 from $315. He paid the $280 and picked the vehicle up. We bought the parts (same brand and model they quoted him with) the next day w/ warranty ($290) and I walked him through how to replace both parts. We were done in 30 minutes, this wasn't me doing it, this was the time for him to do it and learn while me telling him what to do. The prices quoted for the simple, straight forward repair were ridiculous. Sad to see from a long term local business. As a life long coast resident, I will share my experience when asked where not to go regarding cost effective, needed auto repairs. The nearly $300 diagnostic fee was going to be charged if we moved forward with repairs. What an experience! One and done!

I'm begging this guy Bobby to please return my parts at the very least. I can't say I recommend this mechanic at all after my experience. I guess I'm the unlucky one that got scammed. I had to pay for all this to be adjusted and was a pretty penny I had to pay. They're in a small vehicle and don't have the right equipment to handle such a job and to put things back as they were. They came that morning about 9:30 and didn't leave until that afternoon about 8:30. Worked in the dark for about 3 hours. This company is good for simple jobs but not important things like adequately performing difficult services.

They close at 1200 on Fridays, so I waited til 1130 and didn't get a phone call. I drove up there, because at this point I was ready to get my truck either-way. I looks like they repainted the fender, not as many dust particles as before, but I still see imperfections. At this point I already know it's not going to get any better. I spoke with her about how I feel like if something ever happened with the paint, that I wouldn't be able to come back up there. She reassured me that if I had any issues with defects in the work, that they would warranty it. I pray that I never have to go back to them for anything. She told me that when my vehicle had all those specks of dust in it was perfectly normal to any job that they have done in the past, but Black paint being the hardest because you can see all the imperfections. I paid the full price that I originally agreed to, I didn't try to haggle because of the multiple inconveniences, one week later(two weeks total), or the way I was spoken too. When I was walking out, the owner was out front and didn't say anything to me. It almost sounded like he was talking to his buddy making fun of the whole situation. I can tell you that he doesn't take pride in his work, he's all about the money. Attached is the photo from the 2nd time going up there and pointing out all the imperfections in the paint, and he tried to tell me it's normal.
