Dee was the nicest dude and helped us the majority of the time and Pat was running around helping out as well. They ended up giving us a sweet military discount which helped the pocketbook. They also offer offer full service auto care but you'll have to get out of your vehicle for that. Our whole oil change took less than 10 minutes just like they promised. I wish I was still in the area because I would be coming back here for all of my future auto needs.

Please do not think an $89 oil change means an $89 oil change.... what it really means is that:…read more1) You get 5 qts of oil but if your car needs 7 they put that in (no notification) and that oil is about $20 a quart. 2) An oil filter which is not mentioned and happens to be $36 is added but not mentioned - (no notification) 3) You are supposed to get a "22 point inspection" (which is supposed to include tire pressure check - I asked to be sure that was included, I was told yes. I was about to drive out and I asked again.... they had not check that! ("Lumpa Ompa that was one of my service people (the one I originally verified this with) - "OOPS, I forgot!" How do you check the box if you never performed the action? 4) Receipt said "customer ok'd" the windshield wipers - they never looked at them and never asked me about them, let alone did I OK. (no explanation for this one) 5) Oil filter was included..... unless it was not.... mine was on the "Not List" so that was an extra $22 (no notification) Thankfully, I had the money because I was absolutely not expecting an invoice nearly double of my expectation.

Back in April of this year I took my wife's car to Christian brothers. I had the coils and spark…read moreplugs were placed with parts I had purchased from Ford. I understood that they would not warranty the parts themselves, but I did expect them to be installed properly. My wife's car had 103,000 miles on it at this point and within a month of Christian brothers replacing all the coils in spark plugs one of the coils burned out. I had a reputable mechanic replace it thinking it was just an oddity. Within a few more weeks 2 more coils were dying. My wife thought it might be transmission problems and took it to a reputable transmission shop they ran the OBD2 and it showed that the coils in a couple of cylinders were going bad. Within 10 minutes of that diagnosis my wife had the car to Christian brothers. at this point there ws 107,000mi on the car. She showed them OBD2 the report and they basically thumbed their noses at it and said they had to run their own even though it's the same report. This cost I believe around $160, for the exact same test. They were rather curt about it to her, at this point she was exasperated and took it back to the other reputable mechanic who looked at the report and said, yes I see. I had him just go ahead and replace all the plugs and coils again. When I went to Christian brothers to discuss this matter with them they said because I provided the parts they have no warranty even though on the Christian brothers invoice it clearly says "Christian brothers automotive guarantees proper installation of guest supply parts that are designed manufactured and suitable for the guests vehicle in its current condition." I provided the parts Ford sold me and CB agreed that they were the right parts. They (CB) failed to gap the plugs. My wife's car requires a 0.031 gap and CB left the gap at 0.060 and said not gapping is "industry standard". While that is a standard excuse maybe, the mechanic should have been astute enough to check to make sure that he was properly installing them. The over gap caused the coils to work twice as hard or more than they would have if properly gapped the new plugs, thus burning the plugs and damaging the new coils. Gapping is basic engine maintenance practice. When I used to do my own maintenance, way back when, that was the first thing I did...gap the plug properly. Christian brothers does not want to honor this warranty. I am only happy that their mistake did not destroy my wife's car engine. If CB as a company really stands by their own warranties, they should refund their charges and the cost of having them all replaced again because of their improper installation.

The shop is state of the art, the waiting area is peaceful and homely. You're clearly more than just money to Christian Brothers. Mathew Brown is a wonderful family man, with a kind heart and pure motives. You won't be taken advantage of when your vehicle knowledge is limited either. They also provide service to your car such as oil changes, rotating tires and just your basic every day car services. This location isn't as crowded as the rest due to it being in Pascagoula, MS where its not as crowded as the other cities. I highly recommend you to come here for your next car battery in which your battery goes dead. They will charge you a small fee in for your return of your old battery but as soon as you return your dead battery they will give it back to you. I got the gasket replaced for a very competitive price. Recently I had spark plugs/coils replaced and they let me buy my own quuality parts and they installed them without an upcharge. Just the labor from the standards book. They have done several other smaller mechanical jobs as well. All done timely and well. I further commend Jake and his front office staff for what is top notch courteous service. I find this shop an invaluable asset as a Senior who relies on the car (s) (including one semi vintage). I used to do minor repairs but time and lack of work space take a toll. I rely on Precision and commend them highly.

All of the workers communicated amongst each other and seemed to work really well together. They checked over my air filter, tire pressure, and wipers as well. I chose not to change my air filter or wipers. At the conclusion of my service, I showed my military ID and got a military discount I paid and was then guided out of the bay.
