And now with this bike shop downtown, it is especially great during farmers markets. They have live music, a great assortment of beer, wine and coffee and even popcorn and avocado toast. I purchased the Wilson NBA DRV Plus Official Basketball (Size: 7), which was priced at $25.97. Upon arrival, I utilized the curbside service and parked in stall #1. I checked in via email and was brought out the basketball in less than 5 minutes. I was highly impressed by the swift service. The quality of the basketball was spectacular. It was filled properly with the correct amount of air. It dribbled so nicely on the basketball court within my neighborhood. I brought my 2000 Harley Sportster 883 to Ol Skool & LS Motorsports after dealing with some ongoing…read moreissues for a while which included an oil leak and fuel/air mixture issues leading to "lean sneeze" and power loss when accelerating. Before contacting Ol Skool & LS Motorsports, I previously contacted several other shops in which I was told they didn't want to take on the work for a Harley Sportser, which was pretty frustrating. Lawrence, the owner, was willing to take it on--and I'm really glad he did. He replaced the rocker box top seals and push rod gaskets, rebuilt and tuned the carburetor to match my exhaust and S&S intake, and re-gasketed the air intake system. He also tracked down and fixed both an oil leak and a separate gas leak from the carburetor. Since getting the bike back, it's been running great. What stood out most to me was how easy Lawrence was to work with. He stayed in touch throughout the whole process, kept me updated, and explained things in a way that actually made sense. His pricing was very fair too, especially considering the amount of work that went into it. If you've got a bike that other shops won't touch or can't figure out, I'd definitely recommend Ol Skool & LS Motorsports. Lawrence knows his stuff and takes care of his customers. I had spoken to a worker there who was very knowledgeable and great with customer service. I told him about what I needed and he told me they would try to work with my carb but if not they would order the one they use and ensure it ran right. He gave me an estimate that I felt was reasonable including the possibility of a new carb from them. Went to drop off the bike and that day a completely different service person took over the drop off which I felt was kind of weird since I had talked to the other individual and pretty much thought he would be working on it. Anyways, I had to explain the issue I had over again and instead of giving me the same price quote the individual gave before he said " what's your budget". Mind you, I just needed the bike to have the carb tuned to stay running which I couldn't achieve myself. It's not like I needed a full engine or top end rebuild I felt that question was pretty inappropriate for a tune. Additionally, he kept trying to upsell me on oil change spark plug (which I had just done myself ) and battery which was not what I was there for. The bike was there for over a month and had issues arise That wasn't an issued prior to me dropping off the bike however conveniently I had to pay for the oil change ($59 for a bike that uses less than a quart of conventional oil ) and spark plug. I agreed to pay just because I wanted to get my bike back the way I dropped it off and didn't want to risk the " we recommended this and you declined" if something happened. I got the bike back and once I was home it was missing screws on the airbox and also the airbox bracket to secure to the frame. This could have been catastrophic to my engine if it came apart and the engine sucked in dirt. I don't want to get anyone in trouble or talk bad about this business because for the most part I feel like they mean well. However, I feel like they need to work on being meticulous and returning the customers bike the way they received it
