I hate leaving bad reviews but I must give credit where credits due , I came to the shop on my e-bike and the owner Chris immediately cut me off " no ,no get out of here I don't want you here I don't do electric bikes ! Don't judge a book... Well, you know the rest. So I went here looking for a tool to remove the crank from a 72 Schwinn Varsity and Continental. The tool is kinda unique to Schwinn but the guy couldn't sell me the tool but agreed to remove the crank for a buck...each! Very knowledgeable and bike friendly. What I mean is sometimes you get these bike stores that can be a bit snobby and/or arrogant when it comes to knowing your bike terminology but these guys were very cool. When you drive up there is literally no parking so you'll have to make due as you drive across the intersection...so go really slow and be mindful of cars entering or leaving. Also, the place is VERY cat friendly so if you have allergies I recommend bringing a mask :) This might be my go to place in the future for bike maintenance. I couldn't have been more satisfied with a place like this that seems to keep their overhead low and items and service priced correctly. I highly recommend this shop and will return in the future! Great place for a bike repair. I have had this NEXT bike for at least 15 years, but lately it's been in storage. It needed a new seat, seat post, air in the tires, and a general tune up. No appointment was needed. I dropped it off on a Tuesday and picked it up on Saturday. The total cost of repair was $41+ (the bike's worth is about $100). It works great. I'm happy with it and the service (they offered to help me unload and load the bike in my vehicle). (Fair warning, parking is limited. The front of the shop can take about 3-4 cars) read more

I had a great experience with Anderson's and really impressed with their honesty. I had a lawn mower that worked great up until it didn't. I checked out a few YouTube videos, did what I could but still couldn't get it to run. Called Anderson's and described the problem, the gentleman I spoke with said what I was describing doesn't sound good but he'll be happy to check it out. I brought my lawn mower in the following day and was promptly greeted upon entering the store. The gentleman came out from behind the counter, listened to my issue and did some quick tests. It turns out it was a simple fix and the price was extremely reasonable. Worst bike shop I've ever been to! Went in 3 or 4 times to ask if they could fix my bike. Was told come back in a week. A week later it wasn't finished. Went in another time for a seat issue. Saud he can't fix it. Went in for a gear issue. Couldn't do anything about it. Went in again for a clamp. "That won't work". Highly Recommend this shop for Bike Repair. I had an old Specialized Rockhopper that for the most part had been hanging in the garage for the last 10 years (I had a bad hip and knees) 4 months ago I gots new hip. Now I wanted to ride my bike. I took it down to Anderson's and I asked them to tune it up and set me up with new pedals, Tires, seat and different handlebars. The bike was done very quickly and it looks great and feels great. I had gone in few times for blown tires for my bike and seen John at the local fireworks stand and have asked there advice on bike options. I went in looking for a bike tool and the old dude with the white hair said there is a lot. I said well I have this and need that. He said I don't sell them. I have plenty for me to use but not for sale. I said ok thanks and started to walk away. Then I went back to ask how do I know which one I need. He looked annoyed cause it was 20 min before closing. He said just bring in your bike. I guess this dude has never heard the saying about the fish. I didn't want him to do it for me I wanted to do it my self and learn. I've been there before and the other gentleman with the normal colored hair has always been great. I go to them as I'd rather help little shops like this than give more money to big companies. I went to another store named "world of wheels" in Modesto. They had NO PROBLEM explaining to me what I need to do and how to do ot as well as selling me the correct tool. John did a tuneup on my bike. He was very nice, knowledgeable and explained everything completely. My bike has never ridden better.

First off, there was no professionalism in this guy, Chris, who I asked for some assistance in getting my daughter's brakes adjusted on her BMX bike. I let him know that my wife and I tried to adjust them to work better but we just couldn't get it to where my daughter would have an easier time squeezing both brakes and stopping. He then went on to say to the extent of, that the bike is crappy yet he would still be able to adjust them. HELLO??!! Who says that?! Might I add that my daughter who is 12 is standing next to me and the guy Chris deems it necessary to speak his mind to include the negative connotation on what he thinks of the bike. I was going to give this guy and Co. my business but I thought about it and said no and walked out. I know that the $12 you quoted me isn't going to impact your business any but I hope this yelp review does and lends credit to that one person who is thinking about going to you folks to support local businesses since you're like the only bike shop in town and sways their decision to go elsewhere. I didn't think it was necessary for you to say what you said. Be professional in dealing with customers and keep your nasty comments to yourself next time and provide a service to the community in a decent manner. read more

Took my dads cannondale here for some repairs which I thought would be expensive. Chris quoted us around $30 to fix the sprocket replace the brake line and put on a new chain. That is an excellent price I honestly don't know how they can afford to stay in business with prices like that. This is one of the last real bike shops around that doesn't rip people off.
