This Dr. was outstanding. I am shocked when I called his office even more shocked when I went to his office to find out he was no longer there. Dr. Williams was in our lives for over 32 years. My husband coached little league with him umpired Dr. Williams and his boys games. Dr. Williams was the Dr. on the sidelines for varsity football games. I cannot say enough good things about this Dr. I almost felt he was a part of our family. My husband and I and truly saddened by this and he will be missed greatly. Went to see Dr. Clarke but found that his office is closed. Reached out to a friend who was also a patient of Dr. Clarke and found that her family has started seeing Dr. Khatri at Brentwood Primary Clinic and they are very satisfied with her care. I made an appointment and I am so glad that I made that switch. Dr. Khatri is the best physician that I have met. She takes times to listen to me and address my concerns. Most pathetic place I've ever been to in my 25 years of living. Need a doctors note for work due to seizures and he refuses to give me one but will prescribe my seizure medicine RIDICULOUS! I have been a patient of Dr. Williams for many years. Always easy to get in. However, in March 2020, at the start of the pandemic, I went to his office wearing a mask. He didn't wear one, nor did any of his staff. When I removed my mask for him to look in my throat, I didn't speak (that's how the virus is spread, mostly). He said he didn't need a mask. Really? He sees many patients, waiting room is often crowded. He didn't wear a mask? I understand that now he and his staff wears a mask, but I wonder about a doctor who doesn't wear a mask when the pandemic was killing thousands a day. I use to go to dr Williams.. it's been about 5 years when i switch.. I went in for bronchitis and he was taking a listen to my chest and his pinky was on my nipple and moving back and forth and telling me how cute I am.. I've never felt so uncomfortable.. that was the last time I went and I found a great doctor in concord.. And today my daughter went to the doctors to just get a doctors note to go back to work, because she had a cold and she needed a doctors note.. so she made a visit to Dr William's... and she said he was grumpy... he told her that I'm not here for your convenience and he lecture for not going to the doctors more often, since it's been 3 years since she has seen him, but she has gone to urgent care and she said you are not open all the time and he said well I'm not here for your convenience.... Really!!!! What is he doing still doing there.. needless to say he has lost another patient... I recommend look around before you consider Dr. Williams!!! read more

I had to go here for a TB test required by tobinworld in May of 2015. Tobinworld said they would pay for the test after I got my results. Long story short, the Dr was nice , nurse in my room was nice , front desk girl was rude and sassy(she was younger). Anyways, they girl ran my insurance card and I only had to pay $15 copay- I repeatedly told her "so that's it?" And she replied "it's a general TB, it's covered". No big deal , I didn't tell Tobinworld to pay that since my insurance covered the procedure. In August that year my insurance switched over and somehow I still have to pay them. Last month I get my "final notice" to pay for the TB. Come to find out they actually never sent my policy to my precious insurance company, they say they were unsure of what I had gotten so that's why it never processed. SO THANKS to this place, I'm out $229. And I never took the job at tobinworld.... A guy in these reviews down below had 2 insurances and still had to pay $230.00 something dollars.. What is this place doing? It doesn't matter how old you are and how long you've been in practice, it's about giving good quality care as well as fair pay especially with insurance ! I had an appointment two weeks after my father had passed away unexpectedly I mentioned that to the Doctor his response was " Surprise" that really pissed me off. During the same appointment I was to have an EKG and while the old assistant was hooking me up she mentioned that flag burners should be sent back to their own country I don't know where the hell that came from I guess they didn't want me as a patient anymore so they don't have me as a patient anymore. read more

I honestly don't know what I would've done without Dr. Clark Williams!!! I've always been under Kaiser health care, and recently lost my coverage. I decided for the time being that would not be a problem. However, once I caught the nasty fever/flu my daughter had, I knew I was going to be in trouble. Once my symptoms started to feel severe, I bit the bullet and shelled out the money to Kaiser (shutter!) And after being told "welcome to the club of having the flu" and no antibiotics prescribed, it only took a day for my symptoms to become worse. Finally, my dad recommended I see Dr. Williams, and assured me that not only would it be affordable to see the doctor, that I would also get the antibiotic prescription I needed. I made a phone call first thing in the morning, and was seen in the next hour! Dr. Williams is a kind, well educated, and experienced doctor. He noted right away that I had a nasty case of Strep throat to go along with my 103 degree fever, and I was given a prescription right away and confidently told that I was going to get better soon. A doctor with kindness, confidence, and reassurance is hard to come by these days, and to be honest I was so shocked by how easy and professional my experience that this office was. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Williams. I've been a patient of his for approximately 25 years. He has seen me for sinus infections, minor burns, and various other small issues. He has sent me to specialists for infertility, weight control, and dermatology. My husband just started seeing him, and Dr. Williams is getting my husband's health totally up-to-date with preventative, based on family history, appointments with specialists for colon issues, potential heart problems, and knee surgery. Awful, just awful. I've had kaiser my whole life and maybe I'm just spoiled. The people aren't friendly except the doctor.. He's nice but can be kinda creepy. They don't knock on the door when they go in to check on you so if your changing your standing with no pants on for others to see when walking past the door. I've been TWICE and with two different assistants and neither one was going to wear gloves to stick a needle in my arm. They don't take needles out while you can see so who knows if they are even sanitized. I will never go back. read more

Called to make a appointment at 4:30 and got a man that was rude and just abrasive. He just said the staff is gone and they're on summer hours and leave when they're done so apparently this is the only doctors office without solid hours of operation. I am in the process of changing my dr and dont want to deal with this company as a whole. Dr. Williams is so close to retirement that he has absolutely no concern for any of his patients health anymore. He suddenly refused a medication that I have been on for over 15 years and he refused to provide another prescription until I could find an alternative. It has been 4 days now without my medication and I am very ill without it. I kept trying to explain this along with my insurance company but it takes 3 or more phone calls to even talk to anyone in the office and when you do get through every one of them that I have spoken with are rude and unhelpful. I can't believe that a, "Healthcare Professional" would do such a thing as make a patient sick and have no concern about it whatsoever. My family and I have been seeing him for 20+ years and he has caused that to come to a grinding halt. Shame on you, "Dr" Williams and shame on all of you who work there for what you have done. I will now be sick and without medicine for weeks until I can see another doctor to fix your carelessness. Everytime I see Dr. Williams, he comes into the exam room, he seems to be in a rush, does a quick touchy-touch from head to toe, then walks out the door. I have never seen him for more than 2 minutes at a time and he seems very much in a rush - I don't feel as though he pays enough attention to his patients. Went in to have my thyroid examined, per recommendation of my university doctor, and he ordered the scans, etc...well, that was a year ago and never once did he have his staff call to follow up and let me know the results. I have mixed feelings about Dr. Williams and his office. Overall Dr. Williams seems to be a competent general practice doctor. He seems like the typical prescription writer kind of doctor. If you know what's wrong with you, he's the doctor to go to so he can write the prescription. However, I want more from my GP. I don't get the personalize attention that I get at other doctor's offices. He never seems to remember my name or anything about me, even though I see him 3-4 times a year due to allergies, asthma or the occasional cold. Visits are usually really quick - he does the quick "say aww" check up, writes a prescription, then leaves. Sometimes this is fine, but other times I wish he would put more effort into the visit. His office staff is horrible. They are never friendly, never smile, never remember my name and never seem to care for any of their other patients. Their phone etiquette is horrible and usually quite rude - as if they are upset that I dare call them with a question. One specific case that pissed me off was when I was pregnant and having allergy problems. I called their office, as was recommended by my OB, to clarify what allergy medicines I could take. They told me to talk to my OB. When I said that she had referred me to my GP, the woman on the phone then said that I should talk to the pharmacists. At this point I was upset, and asked if she was really telling me that Dr. Williams couldn't advise what allergy medicine I could take. She said she'd talk to the Dr. and call me back. 1 minute later (literally - 1 minute) she called me and said that Dr. Williams wants me to talk to the pharmacists. It was obvious that she didn't talk to the Dr., nor did she care about me. Another case was when I was having bad back aches and tingling in my feet. He wanted me to see a neurologists for extensive testing because of my tingling feet. I asked him if it could be related to my bad back. He assured me that no, they weren't related. This didn't seem right so I went to a chiropractor, who immediately took xrays (which I feel that Dr. Williams should have done) and said that yes, the feet and back were related. A few visits later and no more bad back or tingling feet. Not only would I not recommend Dr. Williams' office, but I've recommended against him several times. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Williams since I was about 14 years old (In my 30's now). He is always very friendly and listens to my symptoms and advises accordingly. I am usually in and out pretty quickly with the RX's that have me feeling better within days. I love that he has staff that does the blood draws for blood work and urine tests right there in his office, so no need for a separate trip to another location to go to a lab. I am very happy with him and the service his office provides, he makes his patients feel very comfortable and he is very personable, yet very professional and knowledgeable. I have seen Dr. Williams for over 10 years. He is amazing. He always welcomes me by my first name and asks how my family is doing. Even asks about them by name. He remembers what was going on in our lives the last time one of us was seen. I am not very fond of his new office staff. Although he has a nurse who has been there for as long as I can remember and she is great. She knows what she is doing. She isn't very talkative but I know that she cares about what she does. Wow so far so good! I've been sick for three weeks, I went to the ER and was prescribed Tamiflu. It did not help at all. Out of desperation we scheduled an appointment at Dr Williams office. I've never been to him before. The Dr is a very nice, outgoing, and a little goofy but smart. I like his personality a lot. Anyways he prescribed me some antibiotics, and gave me a shot of penicillin in the butt on the house. Dr. Thank you! the penicillin is already working. Dr Williams has been my primary physician for about 10 years. Since I haven't had any major medical issues, most office visits haven't concerned me much. I have seen Dr Williams twice in the last 6 months for an annual physical and for a sprained ankle. I had to call and then wait to get results in the mail for lab work as well as x-rays. Follow up with Dr Williams is horrible. I will likely be changing doctors in the very near future. He always seems rushed and I almost feel as if I have to do a little research prior to visiting. read more

I don't have enough wonderful things to say about this man. Dr. Williams has been my primary care physician for 12 years. I wouldn't switch doctors if you paid me. He is just so friendly and proffesional. I know I am in good hands when I am under his care. I hate being sick, so when I even get a sniffle, I go to him. I usually think I am just over reacting to a sore throat and that it was caused by sleeping with a fan on or something lame, but my concerns are usually valid. He does a quick exam, asks me how life is and what's new, tells me he's happy to see me, writes me a prescription and sends me on my merry way. 2-3 days later, I'm fine again. He is always able to see me the same day too. They run the office really well. Unlike some offices, their system works! The staff is great. The best part about Dr Williams is that I feel like he knows me... He knows what medication I can't have, he knows that I preffer generics because they are cheaper, he's nice enough to give me samples from the office when he can, they call in my prescriptions for me, he will call in prescriptions without an appointment for me if I have just seen him... His office has really gone above and beyond for me in the many many years I have been going there. I have never been made to feel like my visit wasn't important. I just got back from Dr. Williams office and I am devastated. I used to really love him as he respected the fact that I am a Dr. and pill -phobe. I needed to see him for a prescription that I use only once every couple of years to alleviate symptoms of travel anxiety. So, I haven't seen him in a good year and a half and the first thing he says to me is ' boy this stuff is addictive - who else are you getting it from ? ' Now , I appreciate the fact that people go pill shopping and it is a controlled substance - but that is no way to approach a patient !! He went on to almost call me a liar and suggested that I see a shrink. I left there so frustrated and sad that I didn't notice that he had changed the prescription to something completely different without discussing the effects to me. He ran in and out so fast that I had to ask the young lady at the desk to ask if the prescription was going to be of the same help in my situation. She ran back and came out and said he assures me that it will do the same thing but is easier to control. Control what ? He seems to have forgotten how to stop and listen to patients and discuss things with them. I don't know that I will ever be able to go back there again with how I was treated. ive seen Dr. WIlliams on and off over the years and for the most part have been pretty satisfied with his services. However, after todays incident..I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. I have been in to see him 3 or 4 different times in the last few months for what appears to be a urinary tract infection. I pay the one time $40 office visit fee and I get the same prescriptions. This morning, i called the office, Knowing that I have the same problem again, and asked if they could just refill my script. the office said Dr. had to test urine again. which I dont understand, and asked another medical professional about this. (wont mention Dr.s name) but i was told, that there should be no reason why the Dr. couldnt just call in the refill. (In fact, when i first called and asked THAT question the first girl i spoke with said, no problem, just have the pharmacy call our office, But another woman got on the phone Joanne and told me differently. When I questioned why, and told her what i was told, she said she would talk to Dr. and call me back. Well...what a surprise i received...I was told (by Dr. Williams) to tell Me, that I need to find medical services elsewhere. Now, HOW professional is THAT! I went to Dr. Williams about 9 mo. ago to get my commercial driver's licence medical evaluation which has to be done every two years. I am double covered by insurance. For some unknown reason, Dr. Williams submitted a claim that he saw me for back pain. My primary insurance refused to pay based on a pre-existing condition clause, unless I could provide proof of previous insurance which I did. Cigna, the primary carrier still did not pay, for reasons unknown to me. I have two insurances and because he for some reason lied about what he saw me for, I continue to get a statement from him for 224.00. I cannot for the life of me figure out why he said he saw me for back pain, when I was there for a DOT physical. I tried repeatedly to contact his staff and explain to them what the problem was but was unsuccessful in my attempts to get to the bottom of the whole thing. So now here I sit with two insurances and a 224.00 bill for services that I did not receive and if I don't pay this bill and it goes to collections then my credit goes to hell. This should be illegal but I don't know what to do. What a mess. read more

My family has used Dr. Williams as our primary for many years and will probably keep doing so. No doubt he is seeing as many patients in as little time as possible due to the poor current health care reimbursement environment that is financially squeezing all doctors. I've learned to go in prepared with a list of items/symptoms/tests to quickly go down the list as soon as enters the exam room, so as to take as little of his time as possible. If you aren't prepared, he's gone in a flash to his next patient before you remembered that one last pain detail you wanted him to know about. Both he and his staff are very likeable, congenial, professional and responsive. They will take you in for a "sick" appointment. You should have internet access to do your own motivated follow-up, research and education on lab test results as Dr. Williams will mail these medical reports to you with just a quick notation of what is (ab)normal. Unless you comprehend medical terminology, you'll have questions. read more
