Update (September 2026): I originally gave Dr. Harmeet Malhi, my primary care doctor at Sutter…read moreHealth in Brentwood, five stars, and I meant it. I felt listened to, and I trusted him when he recommended I take leave from work for my health. Since then, my experience has been painful and frustrating. In August, I submitted paperwork for my disability claim through a portal link his office sent me. At my September 9 appointment, Dr. Malhi said he didn't have it. I didn't argue. I asked for a new link and uploaded it again. I also asked for a note covering my work absences from August 27 to September 9. His assistant confirmed the request and asked about the signature, dates, and delivery method, and I answered the same day. After several follow-ups and assurances that the documents would be sent, I still have neither a completed form nor a clear answer. My disability claim has since been denied, and I have had no income since July 1. Dr. Malhi was almost 30 minutes late to our last video visit and didn't acknowledge it. He had been late to earlier visits too. I waited because I know doctors get busy. I have also missed some appointments myself while dealing with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and insomnia. I wish that had been handled with a direct conversation and a plan for my care. Instead, I suddenly lost the ability to message his office through the Sutter portal. No one has told me whether he is still my doctor, why this changed, or who will handle my treatment and pending paperwork. I trusted him and relied on his support, so this has left me feeling abandoned and questioning the compassion I thought I saw. I'm asking Sutter to complete the documents and explain how my care will continue. I hope no other patient has to deal with this kind of uncertainty during an already hard time. 9/23/2026 Below was my review 2 months ago as a 5 Star! Dr. Malhi is hands down the best doctor I've ever had. He is so caring and understanding -- he truly listens, never rushes you, and explains everything in a way that actually makes sense. He's also very thorough and proactive -- he orders the right tests and screenings to get to the bottom of whatever health issues you're dealing with, instead of just brushing things off. What I appreciate most is how he gives advice. When he talks to me about making healthy changes, he does it in a way that's encouraging, never judgmental -- he makes you realize it's truly for your own good, and it actually motivates you to do better. He's so easy to talk to, unlike other doctors I've had before. Honestly, he feels less like a doctor and more like a friend who genuinely wants the best for you. He's quick to respond through the portal, and his staff is friendly and helpful too. My husband and I are both his patients and we feel so lucky to have him -- we love this guy! If you're looking for a primary care doctor in the Brentwood/Antioch area, look no further -- he's totally awesome! ~Romella

DO NOT TRUST DR. MALHI. I went for a fully covered physical/wellness appt. Dr. Malhi asked almost…read moreno questions, provided no care, and sent me for bloodwork. A month later I received a $580 bill. Dr. Malhi requested several COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY blood tests that are not covered by insurance. His office refused to correct his error. Muir Health refused to correct the error. I am currently filing a claim for FRAUD with the Medical Board of California. Dr. Malhi is a bad doctor that is only interested in extracting as much cash as possible from his "patients" (or "marks" as fraudsters call them).

I have searched for a very long time to find a physician like Dr Campbell. He's knowledge,…read moreattentive, respects my opinion and feelings. I am a very complicated case that does not have a happy ending. He jumped right in and cleaned up the mess the other providers made. All while being a man of his word and action. If you want a doctor that is going to listen to BS or powder your fannie, that isn't him. It's very disheartening that so many people speak of him so sharply and list all of these ill qualities but give no basis or example. Also that they have resorted to making fun of him being a Scott. So many opinionated racists out there that are not satisfied with themselves and will never be satisfied with a real provider. His front office staff is horrible. A couple of rude, fat, lazy slags. His office manager is wonderful and interfaces with him incredibly. His medical assistants are on top of things because his standards are high. There's nothing wrong with that. There is nothing wrong with Dr. Campbell. He's been the provider that I have hoped he would be, every step of the way.

Doctors are not in the office on a daily basis. My doctor is only in on Thursdays. It took 3…read more months to get a Wellness appointment. During the appointment, the doctor sits across the room and most of the 15 minutes is spent with the doctor fooling around with the computer app and was more concerned with getting a POLST form filled out. She ordered lab work based on my meds. I asked for a urine test--she said they are no longer automatically part of the Wellness exam--I requested the test. My lab results had some issues and they were not properly addressed by the doctor. I called the office, wanting to talk to the doctor, but she does not take phone calls so the front desk gave me a phone appointment with the PA. The PA said I must talk to the Dr. who ordered the lab work. So, now, I have to wait another month to talk with the Dr. At least the PA did order the additional lab work. Prior to this experience, there have been issues with meds and referrals. I guess if you have no health issues, this type of care would work for you.

I cannot believe how extremely RUDE the employees at this office were. I spoke with Amanda, the…read moreoffice manager and she was so condescending and horrible. I called to establish care and spoke with Sela who scheduled me an appointment for March 19th. I let her know that my insurance was a JMPN HMO plan and that I was going to call my insurance to have them post date the change of PCP for 3/1/24 since I'm currently under the care of another physician and cannot NOT have a PCP in the interim. She said that I needed to call and do that first before she could schedule me (why she scheduled me already before verifying is beyond me) she then said that the insurance needed to send them a letter with the reference number. I asked to speak with the office manager at that point and she said she would have her call me back. I then received a call from Amanda who was so rude. She said that it's her office policy that they cannot schedule until the PCP is changed on the card, even though Sela said that the insurance can post date it. She said that it's in the best info the office to do it that way. What about what's in the best interest of the patient?!! What horrible patient care. So a patient can't have a PCP while they wait a month if they have HMO insurance if you want to schedule with them. How does that even make sense. And like I said, I'm currently under the care of a physician for a medical condition and cannot be without a PCP for a month. She then said that her doctor would not treat my medical condition and that their office doesn't agree with disability. She says her doctors will only sign for disability for 2 weeks and that's it. Hmm for someone who is not a physician she was quick to diagnose and tell me what treatment I needed. I cannot believe that the doctor would refuse a medical necessity and I cannot believe that they have such a rude office manager. She also says that she's the manager so she makes the office rules and she made that policy. I asked to speak with the doctor and she said that she wouldn't take my call and that I could email. She then said "I actually don't think I even want to give you her email." So unprofessional. She then said "I'm going to hang up now because we won't be able to have you as a patient." Wow, just wow! I dodged a bullet for sure. If an office manager can be this unprofessional and the doctor allows it, that speaks volumes!!!
