I decided to finally take the plunge and cash out the money to get it fixed. Out of all the places I went to get estimates, maaco is the only place that actually got under my truck and really assessed the damage of what needed to be replaced and what all could be salvaged. Their estimate was 150 dollars cheaper than the cheapest estimate I had before coming there. All I needed replaced was the bumper brackets and the middle chrome piece of my bumper. Everywhere else wanted to replace the whole bumper. I left the truck there on a Monday morning with an expected pick up date of Tuesday afternoon. I got a call early Tuesday letting me know that I needed another bracket replaced that was not able to be seen until they took the whole bumper off. It only cost a little more money and they promised the truck would be ready by the next day. (This was important because this was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving). Anyways, I received a call early Wednesday morning letting me know that my truck would be ready around 2. I was able to pick it up around 330 and the bumper looked great. They even cleaned the truck inside and out except for the rims. I was very happy with how they were quick to call me as soon as something changed regarding my truck. You have to remember that an estimate is an estimate and some problems are unforeseen until they have your car up on the lift and take it apart. Bill was guy who helped me from the start and I highly recommend asking him for the estimate and let him take care of the service. You will not be disappointed.

The day I showed up to drop it off she begin to say the quote did not include de trimming of all chrome pieces and did not include two tone paint job when in fact these were both detailed in the draft contract. For her having 20 years experience and changing things at the last minute because she didn't understand the basic body shop terminology blows my mind. After it was all said and done I had to walk away because then her excuses were about them closing the shop, body guys quitting and not having enough time before their move at the end of November. Be aware this is what they call bait and switch and a complete lack of professionalism. You have been warned! Don't go here or the new place! Complete waste of time, but I'm lucky because it was a sign of the job that was going to be done and for that I'm thankful!
