After my Mercedes-Benz E350 slid on black ice and bumped a sewer drain groove against a curb, the dealership claimed major frame damage and quoted over $20K in repairs. I brought in my car to have some paint chips repaired. They do a decent job at 10 feet, but it's terrible up close. I complained about it and at first they were quite receptive about fixing the issue. I was told the woman who managed the work on my car no longer worked there, and the problems were because my parts were painted at the bottom of the paint booth. I brought my car in 2 additional times to have the problems addressed, and they never fixed my core complaints despite having my car for the better part of 2 weeks. They ultimately told me they couldn't work with me any more and offered to refund my money. They ended up refunding about 20% of the money I paid, and now my paint looks terrible, and I'm out about $1600. If you want paint work of this quality, save yourself time and money, and go to the MAACO right nextdoor. read more

About a month ago, I damaged the passenger side of my car, pulling into a parking spot in a parking garage. I immediately started looking for a car repair shop to fix the damage and visited 3 repair shops in Smyrna to get a quote. I saw Paint Genius had great reviews and now I know why. When I went to get a quote from Paint Genius, the quote was cheaper than the other two repair shops and the length of time my car would be in the shop was shorter. They were also able to start on my car right away versus the other repair shops. Dylan was super helpful throughout the entire process. He answered all of my questions. My car was able to be picked up in about 3-4 days and it looked brand new. It even ended up being $100 less than they quoted me. I was one happy customer. The passenger's side looked so good, I inquired about getting the driver's headlight replaced. Dylan said let him know when and I could bring my car in anytime. I was scheduled to bring my car on this past Friday. When I got there, Dylan informed me that my headlight had not come in, but they could try restoring before replacing it. He said he was willing to do it for me at no charge. I decided to leave my car and see if it could be restored. Dylan called me a few hours later and stated they were finished. I asked for pictures and he sent them to me. The pictures didn't do it justice. The driver's side came out perfect and looked like a brand new headlight. Wish I would have found out about and gone with them sooner‍. It took me MONTHS to find an LCI front bumper for my BMW, and when I finally did I tried to take the cheaper route by going on the Facebook Marketplace to get it repainted since it already cost me a fortune. It did NOT turn out well at all and ended up looking like a Fat Pig did it. I finally came to my senses and went back to Paint Genius and only paid $800 for a whole new front bumper (which usually go for at least $1000) which included the repaint. It came out so clean and with the right paint code and everything- it looked brand new. I'll definitely be using their services again. Ive dealt with repair shops a number of times from cosmetics, repair, even engine builds. For this repair I dealt with other paint shops in the Vinings/Smyrna area. The first in my search, I appreciated because he knew the laws around repair adjusting and that he could not personally touch the car for liability purposes, BUT I never got the estimate. Another gave me a lowball for the price and was backed up for months. The other did the same but could get the car out quicker. So, I went to Paint Genius last (only because of how I planned my route for the day) for an estimate and I had my mind made up before I left Paint Genius. Why? Because they tell you up front what they're going to do and what the price is. This is a stark difference from some other shops who will give you a spitball estimate, then call you with "oh I found (insert new problem) and it's going to cost (insert new price you weren't prepared to pay) and it'll take (insert excruciatingly long wait for your car)" after your car is already there and you cannot just go get your car back. I forget his name, but I'll never forget a face. I think he may own the shop, but he was VERY straightforward. Dollars to donuts the price was the price and I didn't have to ask any questions. The quality you say? It looks like a new vehicle. And I LOVE cars so it's not one of those I'm just happy to have my car back. They went from tryna charge me 15k with insurance then when I said I was paying out of pocket told me 7k I found a cheaper place then so I wanted my car meanwhile he told me to give him 3600 up front to start my car so I gave him 500 and told him I willl Zelle the rest when it was time for me to Zelle that's when I found a cheaper place !!! I took my month old BMW to Chris at Paint Genius after an irresponsible landscaper damaged the paint job by dragging a hose across it. We initially thought some portions would need to be repainted, but Chris & team were able to get everything cleaned up w/o the need for a drastic (and unwanted) repaint of a brand new car. They do nice work on paint, but I have to question their glass IQ. DO NOT GO THERE FOR GLASS WORK. They agreed to do the seals on the windshield of my classic Ford truck. They did some work on the vent windows which wasn't very good. Broke both of my window cranks, told me the seals I bought were wrong and didn't fit. Finally they gave me the truck back with the project abandoned and the real . PS The seal was the correct one and fit perfectly. Still have no back window though.. read more

My car got broken into and the window smashed. I was so upset as my computer with all of my work (and life!) was stolen. I found Paint Genius on yelp and because they were so close to my work I drove right over. From start to finish they were so professional and nice. I think if I would have got there a bit earlier they would have be able to fix my window THAT day! In-n-out. I did however get there in the early afternoon and there just wasnt enough time left in the day. Nethertheless they took my car in and repaired it the next day.
