Since I now understand he is a gifted surgeon it makes sense that his time is better served elsewhere. Rather than blow me off and refer me out to another med clinic they took the opportunity to bring in a rep from the ultrasound maker they put in your septic treatment facility to see your prostate with the latest and greatest version and used it as a staff training day AFTER the doc finished surgery for the day. The doc performed the procedure learning the new added ability's of the machine while four P.A's observed and were also trained. I call that above and beyond and am grateful to all for their patience and understanding. They do care and do deserve 5 stars and I do recommend them. Oh and guys don't be concerned about that tool that goes up the septic, It's an odd sensation but all the pain is from the biopsies and needle and as soon as the needle is with drawn all pain goes away. That is until you forget about that tape that was used to separate your recreation area from your septic treatment facility is removed! LOL

All the while they have maintained a level of professionalism needed to instill the confidence that I have in them today. I have never been left in the waiting room for longer that 10 minutes and just today had to wait for Dr Slavis for only 5 minutes and he actually apologized. I attempted several times to set up an appointment or consultation using the web form on the website, and never received anything...not a call or an email. I called on Thursday, after noon, and was able to schedule an appointment for Monday. When I arrived, the staff was polite, and quiet. The paperwork was a bit much...I was literally filling in paperwork for a half an hour, but I understand that new doctors need to get information. The nurse was nice, and made me feel comfortable while I was getting my bladder ultrasound done. Dr. Kaplan was nice. He seemed a little abrasive at first, but later it seemed he was more...appalled at the fact that previous doctors hadn't done much to help me. He's the first urologist to offer me a preventative antibiotic, since I get frequent UTIs. I'm not 100% sold on taking an antibiotic every day, just because of super bugs, etc, but at least he offered. No other doctor has done that. He's also the first to offer me a medication to help with the other bladder issues I've been having, that are starting to cause problems with my job. His office staff filled in paperwork for me, for help with work. The woman I worked with was absolutely wonderful. I like the office. I'm not in love with them yet, but I'm always VERY cautious about feeling out doctors and their staff. I have a follow up appointment next month, so we'll see how they do then, too.

Unfortunately, after nearly two months of waiting and repeated phone tag, the letter still had not been handled. I finally had to go to the office in person just to get something I had been requesting for weeks. While I was there, I specifically asked to speak with Heather, but the office manager never had her come up to speak with me. Instead, I was told there had been a lack of communication with the doctor. After waiting two months and having to advocate for myself in person, I received the work letter the following day. What was most upsetting was that I then received a letter releasing me as a patient. After being a loyal patient for years, I found the timing and the way this situation was handled extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I understand that offices get busy and miscommunication happens, but patients should not have to spend two months repeatedly following up for an important work document, only to be dismissed from the practice after expressing concerns about how their request was handled. If you are looking for an excellent fertility doctor, please look no further. My husband and I did not start trying until I turned 39, so we expected an uphill battle. But from the very beginning, we felt that we were in the best possible hands with Dr. Fisch and his wonderful team. One of the biggest benefits of going to a smaller clinic with one reproductive fertility doctor is the attentive, individualized care. Dr. Fisch and his staff became familiar with us and our fertility journey very quickly. He personally performed our appointments, ultrasounds, and all required procedures, and at the end of each appointment, he always took the time to answer all of our questions -- often before we even asked them. He was knowledgeable, reassuring, and always had an answer for us. I truly felt cared for and like I was a priority. Dr. Fisch is attentive, detail-oriented, compassionate, and incredibly personable. He called us from his cell phone many times, which meant so much to us during such an emotional process. Fertility treatment can feel overwhelming and invasive, but Dr. Fisch and his entire staff -- including the nurses and anesthesiologists -- always did everything they could to make me feel comfortable and supported. In addition to his excellent medical skills, Dr. Fisch has an incredible bedside manner. He is kind, friendly, patient, and genuinely supportive. I have to admit that I was really nervous going into my appointment, however, Dr. Morris makes you…read morefeel comfortable and answers any questions you have during the pre-procedure consultation. Plenty of information is also provided regarding pre and post procedure recommendations, and Dr. Morris will even provide his cell phone number in case you have any questions or concerns afterwards. Vasectomies are the only things that Dr. Morris performs, and it definitely shows as the procedure from start to finish takes less than 15 minutes including the consultation. If you're nervous about it or afraid of pain like me, then you can opt for the laughing gas for an extra charge which was definitely worth it. Although I could still feel some minor discomfort, as the gas doesn't put you to sleep, I couldn't imagine how it would've felt without it! I'm only a couple days into my recovery and I can barely see the stitch where the incision or puncture was made. There is still some discomfort if I sit in a weird position or touch the area, however, I wouldn't call it pain. I'm actually shocked! My son know has a over attack bladder because of her my son was on the verge of renal failure because of her lack of care .Her patients are actually leaving because of the lack of care and going to another doctor.
