That is serious expensive surgery involving cutting gums to scrape out disease. But he said it was not a cure, only a help. I would always have periodontal disease. I almost did it but my sister told me it was a scam. So I waited. Five years later, after seeing several dentists and having many cleanings, no one has mentioned periodontal disease. So I finally asked explicitly if I have it and they said no. my new periodontist said there was no evidence of it. my teeth are now in great shape, cleaned regularly with yearly X-rays and exams. I likely would have believed this Williams guy at first, but his lack of eye contact, sincerity, and his rude treatment of employees made me hesitate and do research. I don't know how he is in business. At the end of last year, Dr. Dempsey retired and now Dr. M. Bradley Jergins is the primary dentist. He is as cordial, patient, knowledgeable and professional as Dr. Dempsey. He finished my front implant in March, and after my cleaning today, 10/17/19, he checked to be sure everything was good. Betsy is my hygienist and she is the best I have ever had. I've lost track of time, but it's been at least 11 years. She makes sure that I know exactly what to do to have good looking teeth, with no cavities. I follow her excellent advice which helps me love my smile. All of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I've never had a problem at this office in the chair or with billing. A week ago I went to get my teeth cleaned and as I'm driving to the dentist office I wondered if the Hygienist was vaccinated. Once I got to the chair, she started asking me all the Covid related questions. When she got to the question regarding temperature I paused and then she said you're making my heart skip because you're paused. I said the reason I paused I was wondering if I can ask you the same questions. For instance can I ask you if you have been vaccinated? She said no you're not allowed to ask. However if you feel more comfortable rescheduling with a hygienist that is comfortable answering that question we will be happy to do that. I said let's do it, so I got out of the chair. Once I got home I googled it and found out that as a patient you have every right to ask that question. The hygienist doesn't have to answer the question but you have every single right to ask! So then I rescheduled my appointment for yesterday with a new hygienist who was vaccinated. As I got into the process of cleaning she said that I needed a deep cleaning and despite the fact that I only wanted my teeth clean they were allowed to clean my teeth unless it was deep cleaning. This was the same pitch they used on my wife three months ago! They charged her $50 for deep cleaning. I got out of a chair and left. They have not only lost my business but my wife's as well. I believe this office has deceptive practices. Stay away!
