From the very beginning, every doctor, technician, and staff member has treated him not just as a patient, but as a beloved member of our family. Rudy is our fur baby and we opted to do every and anything to treat his lymphoma. Going through cancer treatment with a pet is overwhelming, but the entire team has made it so much more manageable with their kindness, patience, and clear communication. I can not thank Dr. Linderman and his team enough. They've always taken the time to explain every step, answer our questions, and make sure Rudy was as comfortable as possible. During his recent emergency visit, we were especially touched by how attentive and responsive everyone was. Knowing he was in such capable and caring hands gave us a tremendous sense of relief during a very scary and stressful time. Rudy is so important to us, and it means everything to know he's being cared for by people who genuinely love what they do. Thank you for your dedication, your compassion, and for going above and beyond every single day. We truly couldn't ask for a better team.

Today was one of the most heartbreaking days for our family, as we learned how advanced our 5 year old European Doberman Brody's lymphoma is. Despite the devastating news, Dr. Green handled everything with such honesty, sensitivity, and genuine kindness. What truly set her apart was the way she connected with Brody. She sat on the floor beside him, and he gently placed his head in her lap--something he never does with anyone outside of our family. In that moment, it was clear he trusted her completely, just as we did. She stayed with us for an extended time, petting him, comforting him, and consoling our family. Seeing her become emotional alongside us only reinforced how deeply she cares about her patients. After experiencing multiple veterinarians and hospitals that felt impersonal and transactional, (Especially VMCLI /W. ISLIP) it meant everything to finally have Brody treated by someone so qualified, compassionate, and sincere. While we wish we had better news, we are thankful that it came from someone with such empathy and integrity. Dr. Green made Brody feel safe, and she made us feel supported during an incredibly difficult time. We will be forever grateful for her care.

The experience from Small Door was night and day and they actually discovered some major abnormalities in my dogs bloodwork that needed IMMEDIATE intervention. The doctors personally call to go over any results and it really feels like they have time for you. Everyone there is pleasant and helpful - thank you for the great experience in our time of need!

Dr. Gothelf has been with me every step of the way as Charlie is my first dog. He is very thorough, attentive, and honest with his recommendations. He doesn't charge for every little thing and is really nice/friendly when handling Charlie. Charlie actually likes going to the vet and doesn't want to leave! Dr. Gothelf performed Charlie's neuter and dewclaw surgery. Charlie came home with a cone and his hind legs were bandaged up. He didn't have any complications or infections post-surgery and recovered within a week and a half. Syosset Animal Hospital also had a Halloween event and we were able to bring Charlie in his pirate costume to get a bag filled with treats and a toy. It was his first time trick-o-treating and he still plays with his toy! Overall, Syosset Animal Hospital is a great place to bring your pet for preventatives, surgery, or Halloween!
