I have also seen her be very short and dismissive with patrons, sometimes telling them to speak with another employee rather than attempting to help them herself. On another occasion, I approached the front desk when it appeared that no one was available to assist, only to see her in the room behind the desk vaping. I understand that working at a busy facility can be stressful, and I don't expect every interaction to be perfect. However, I do expect staff members to treat children and patrons with patience, professionalism, and respect.

I love the group fitness classes and I love that you reserve your spot in advance. They also just started a new Core Tone Reform class with reformers for regular members, and that class kicks your butt! I also really enjoy the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzis. Another benefit is the kids membership. My stepdaughter loves coming to the kids club for gymnastics, rock climbing, yoga, and more. I know that she is having fun while I'm doing a class. They have Parents Night Out on the weekends and that's such a nice perk! There's also day camps, which has saved us a few times when we needed child care during a school break. The pool is also wonderful in the summertime. The cafe food is average. I'd love it if the quality was amped up just a bit. The only thing I really ever get is the vegan PB& B shake. It's delicious! It has peanut butter, banana, cafe mocha greens, almond milk, and vegan protein powder. I haven't been to the salon yet, but it's great that this is an option. Overall, I love this gym and I would go every day if I could.

Originally I rented the deck for her ceremony and the Dogwood for her reception but I cancelled the deck because of issues with the management. I had so many issues with management that I personally would never use this place again, at least not for anything that required decorating so ladies be forewarned that you can't use flowers of any kind of the deck. You can't hang anything because you aren't allowed to use any type of ladder. So pretty much no decorations at all. The worst part about renting this facility is that you get different answers from different people about different things. The guy that is in charge works like 4 days a week for 6 hrs a day so good luck with quick responses to questions. The only good part is for a small wedding if you dont care to decorate it's cheap. $80 AN HR. That's half a traditional venue cost for an off day. So there's that.

Seriously, these bagels were like hockey pucks and the muffins just crumbled in your hand when touched. Not a great way to start a long day :( Our instructor told us to head to the dining room for lunch, which would be $10.95 for the buffet including fried chicken or $7.50 for just soup and salad bar. About 30 of us walked down the hall and the hostess seated us. We were just finishing at the buffet (with no fried chicken in sight) plates in hand when the manager of the dining room told us to take our things and get back to our meeting room. It was extremely awkward. We took our belongings and plates of food back to our meeting room where the manager said a server would be delivering silverware momentarily. About 10 minutes later, the server arrived and had no clue she was supposed to be bringing silverware. She went to get it and by the time she got back, our food was beyond cold. The manager came into our class and told us it was time to come to the cash register to pay, so we all followed her out. She rang everyone up for $14.32, even those that only got soup/salad. She said that was the price and she can't honor what we had been told. In the afternoon, they brought cookies and various cans of pop into the class room for an afternoon snack. Would much rather have had something that wasn't loaded with sugar, and perhaps some water. There had been a water pitcher set up with breakfast but it ran out quickly and was never refilled. Not a good spot for a meeting :(

The kiddie pool play structure area (toddler friendly) and pool (3 ft) are wonderful. They provide…read morearm floaties and kickboards to boot. The pools are indoor but they often have the roof partially open so there's shadier areas and other spots in direct sun. Always a lifeguard around and pretty relaxing for parents. The times are a bit limited but overall I've found sign up to be straight forward for the weekends and the play areas at least don't require sign up currently on the weekdays. The fitness classes tend to fill up fast, too, but is included and not at extra cost. I tried the Zumba one and it's meh because the teacher barely interacted with the class. The levels of experience in the room was pretty mixed. I do the punch card and am not a member, so I really only go if it's rainy TBH. However, they do have basic gym equipment so it's worthwhile with the pool access. They currently don't have a family membership so it can be pricey. But it does mean it's not as crowded as I first assumed it would be. So good COVID upkeep and crowd control when I've gone. Hoping they offer more class times or outdoor programs.
