Dr. Rasania is also a star interventional specialist at San Antonio Regional Hospital that has a state-of-the-art cath lab, and he couples it with his expertise and care. He does the most complex procedures and also has the fewest complications. He also does all of his own procedures for his patients from angiograms to stents, and you can be sure he will be with you the whole step of the way. His staff is also incredibly kind, helpful and very efficient, and they makes sure all the appointments run smoothly so patients are not waiting long. They are can set up all your appointments. Unfortunately for me, these tests cannot be done until Jan, 2026. This is frustrating, and a bit alarming for me. I'm not feeling well, get short winded easily and at 80, I'd like to be able to enjoying my life for as long as I have! It getting back to Dr Rasania, I'm completely satisfied with him and am happy to say he provided me with time, answered questions, and looked me in the face as we talked this time. I am extremely disappointed with the way my mother's care has been handled by this office. She waited months for an appointment regarding a serious medical concern involving an open wound with ongoing drainage, only to drive over 30 minutes to her scheduled appointment and be told that the necessary paperwork/referral had not been sent and the appointment could not be completed. No one contacted her beforehand to let her know there was an issue. This was especially frustrating because she had already experienced delays in receiving test results and was expecting follow-up care she did not receive. She was also told she would receive antibiotics, but that never happened. Communication from this office has been consistently poor. Calls are frequently placed on hold immediately without explanation, staff have provided conflicting information, and phone calls have been CUT OFF before concerns could be addressed. Which is very unprofessional. When asked for names, some staff members refused to identify themselves. We understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism has been unacceptable. Dr. Wang and his office staff made me feel very welcome, comfortable, and relaxed from the moment I arrived. What pleased me most is that Dr. Wang is also a cardiologist, which is a tremendous bonus for me. He took the time to thoroughly review my medications and provided highly professional, patient, and detailed guidance regarding my heart condition, including treatment, recovery, diet, and exercise. He also carefully addressed several other health concerns I brought up, explaining preventive measures and treatment options in a clear and thoughtful manner. I am extremely satisfied with my experience. I can only say that I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Wang.
