Great people. Great service. Great product. I have bought two whole beers from them. Could not be happier. Pork chorizo is amazing.

Best around! Best bacon I've ever fallen in love with. My brother worked there for years.

We bought 2 ribeyes, they came out like crap, we threw them away and I was pretty annoyed. But, I did my researched, realized it was my fault and learned how to cook properly raised beef. Is the store bought stuff delicious? Yeah. Does it have traces of feces in it? Yeah. Is smoking relaxing? Yeah. Does it kill you? Yeah... Since my screw up I've had to relearn how to cook good food. We've tried many cuts and cooked them many ways. Charcoal grill, outdoor flat top, cast iron, oven baked, stove stop stew, slow cooker... We're currently saving to buy a quarter share of beef (should be close to $1000) and just put in a new chest freezer to hold most of it. If that's any indication of how I feel about this beef and how I've learned how to cook it, I hope it helps your decision. I've had many other "grass fed" beefs, and I can't knock them all. But DCR is at my local farmer's markets, so that's why I buy from them. You have plenty of choices, they are convenient and deliver what I'm looking for. Properly raised beef that is dense, full of nutrition and grown naturally. You know, like how our grandparents used to eat. My Grandpa is getting close to 100 and my great grandma lived to be 103. They grew up on farms and at food like this. They also drank and smoked heavily. So, what's killing everyone today?

The kitchen was very busy on a Sunday midday and it took over 45 minutes to get our food. It was worth the wait. This looks like a ramshackle hole in the wall from the outside but it's a clean, simple family place for some good food . Much better than the fancy winery restaurant we visited for dinner the previous night.

The place was pretty busy, every table pretty much has guests so we had to wait but the wait honestly was a couple of minutes. The staff had their hands full but you would never know it - they were super kind and fast with their service. It's a decent size restaurant with indoor seating and a patio and it was nice and clean. I was craving a nice cold salad and their salad bar hit the spot! everything was crisp, cold and fresh and the blue cheese was so good. I especially loved the tea and the sweet tea they both were super refreshing and even the water tasted so good. They serve the drinks in giant mason jars which I loved. Do not skip the Brussel sprouts or the green beans! We had steak, chicken fried steak, a burger and they even had my daughter's favorite, spaghetti, and it all was a hit for us. I was enjoying it so much that I forgot to take pictures of it! This place has me wanting to take the drive from Tucson to Willcox just to enjoy another meal!

We were pretty excited as we walked in. The atmosphere inside was cool, I really thought it was a cool touch with the old train car that you sit in. The service was fine, it was a little odd with the robotic delivery thing that brought the food to the table along with the waitress. Where I really can't give a good rating is the food. I ordered the brisket plate, a coworker ordered the chicken. The first red flag was that it took only about 2 minutes from the time we put our order in until the food showed up at the table. I don't think I've ever seen food come out of any restaurant so fast, unless it was a fast food place. I was so focused on the wrinkled, withered half chicken on my coworkers plate that I didn't really even pay attention to my brisket. The chicken looked like it had been overcooked for way too long, and then had probably sat underneath the heat lamp for quite a bit longer. Watching him try to cut through the skin with a steak knife would have been really funny, except we were both pretty hungry. When I got to my brisket, there were several good size slices of meat. There was a smoke ring evident on the top of the meat, but none on the bottom. My guess is that it had probably been smoked on a flat pan or something else that kept smoke off. The overall smoke flavor was fairly weak, nowhere near what I expected for a brisket. The worst part however, was that I needed a steak knife also to cut into my brisket. It was tough and dry. My best guess, based on the texture and a weird aftertaste, is that it had been smoked, sliced and frozen, and was then reheated in a microwave (if you've ever nuked a steak, you know how it makes the meat taste). The coleslaw and beans served as sides were alright, though the beans were over salted. Overall, this was a disappointment for food. Neither my coworker or myself were able to eat more than half of the meal, and I would not recommend it to anyone expecting good BBQ.

They're dedicated to raising the animals humanely and use no antibiotics, hormones, chemicals or grains to feed them. The farm is located in SE AZ but they deliver their frozen meats once a month to locations all around the valley, all the way from the west side to Apache Junction (they also deliver to Tucson). They drop off at the same time and locations every time. All you have to do is be there when they're dropping off, pay them with cash or check, and you get the most amazing meat you've ever tasted. Their prices are quite reasonable for the quality you get. In many cases it's cheaper or right on par with organic meat from the grocery store. The quality is obviously amazing! Their eggs have a lovely orange yolk, ya know...like they're supposed to when they're farm fresh. They're seriously the best eggs I've ever tasted, it's like heaven in the mouth because of their richness. I've tried everything: ground beef and lamb, various steaks, and the eggs. I've yet to order one of their whole chickens but I've heard they're good. I've recommended this place to just about everyone I know, and I can't tell you how pleased I am with the quality. You can taste and feel the difference. It's amazing how much different the body feels after eating grass-fed meat, even compared to organic. I love it and will be ordering from them for a very long time to come. **Just an FYI, the price on the order form is per pound**
