Willow campground site aside the bay

There are some critical reviews for this park and I agree with some of the points. Yes, the restrooms and picnic tables would benefit from more frequent cleaning. Being somewhat close to I-15, you may hear a bit of traffic. Bring bug spray. That's always a low point for me but the folks who work said that mosquito conditions have been better lately than a few years ago. It wasn't too bad once I settled in for the night. The positives? Well, I appreciated the campground for being near the I-15: it's easy to get here. The scenic location on the bay is ideal and the slow lapping waves by my campsite on the shoreline drowned out the slight traffic noise I would have otherwise heard. Some folks don't like that there is essentially a curfew. If you arrive past 10pm, you won't get in because the gate is closed. Personally, I'm a fan of policies like this because I've been to too many campgrounds where people drive in and out at all hours. I'm looking for a peaceful experience when camping. I have to speak up for the people at the Willow and Cottonwood campgrounds. They were all friendly and very helpful when I had questions. Finally, making my reservation online was easy and quick. I selected my timeframe and site then completed the transaction in about ten minutes. Willard Bay met my expectations.

Just a quick jaunt away from Logan, my sister and I went out to Willard Bay to rent kayaks. The park was pretty easy to navigate and there was plenty of parking. Renting a kayak was easy thanks to Club Rec and the kayaks were right by the water. We did some solid kayaking, but as rookies sometimes the waves from boats and jetskis made it a little bumpy. People were very respectful of the no wake zone. The beach was pretty busy but we were still able to get out on the water easily and kayak around. The water seemed a little dirty and stinky, but pretty typical of a lake, not one I would personally want to swim in, but fine for kayaking. We enjoyed our day.

A lot of road noise. Park was clean and sites were nice. $30.00 a night with full hookups. OK for just passing through for the night

Beginning with our very first visit and going up till now we have seen significant improvements in the property. They have consciously spent a large amount of money in improvements making this park our absolute favorite KOA in the 50+ we have visited. It is older and is small, but the improvements have made this park a real gem. They have installed cement patios on a number of the sites, improved and updated the dog parks, renovated the pool, and upgraded their electrical system. But the biggest addition is they now have a full restaurant ON SITE! You call in your order and they will bring it to you or you can pick it up! We've never see something like that! They have spaces for big rigs ( we're 82 feet with an F-150!). And they get us in every time. Our favorite park hands down!

This was the most awful campground we have ever seen. We had to leave and find another RV park. It's run down, the sites are dirty and most of the the people in their park are living there. It looks like a junkyard. The sites are not level at all. We even tried to move to a different spot and the girl in the office was completely rude about it. Then she tried to give us a worse site, even though they had many available. I'm going to say that their park is unlivable. Even though we were only going to stay one night, it was impossible and I feared for our safety. We found another RV park called the Golden Spike RV park and even at the last minute, the staff was accommodating, friendly and went out of their way to help us. The park is beautiful, the bathrooms/showers are really nice and clean and there are beautiful trees and a dog area that is really nice. There was even a gas leak close to the area and the office staff called us to give us the information about how to get around it to get there. We are KOA members. But I don't know how long we will be after this fiasco. The Golden Spike was at least $15 less expensive a night. Don't waste your time at the KOA in Brigham city. It's NOT worth it! If I could give it less than one star, I would!

The mountain backdrop and stunning skies are 10/10, and it's a very family-friendly spot that's great value for the price. One thing they do better than other spas is the water temperature--it's kept at a perfect, consistent temp while other places often struggle to get it right. However, my friends and I noticed a few areas that need attention: * Safety/Walkways: The ground is hit-or-miss. While some parts have good grip, there are very slick, patches scattered throughout the entire facility. I highly recommend everyone bring water shoes for safety. Restrooms: Both the men's and women's bathrooms need much better ventilation and air circulation. Adding an air purifier would go a long way in keeping them fresh. Aesthetics: It's great they are expanding, but the construction area is mostly dirt right now. Some green privacy screening on the fence would help hide the work and preserve the "retreat" vibe. * The Vibe: It can get a little boring just sitting in the pool. It would be amazing to have live music or themed nights like Singles night. Service was great The life guards were vigilant and knowledgeable. Overall, a beautiful and affordable spot.

They had 5 warm too hot to hot hot pools. No one wanted to go in the very hot pool so we kinda had that to ourselves. We visited expecting a simple soak, but it turned into one of the most relaxing and memorable stops on our trip. The setting alone is incredible--nestled along the Bear River with canyon views that make you feel completely removed from everything. The mineral pools are natural and range in temperature, so you can move around and find your perfect spot. The water is rich in minerals and feels amazing, especially after a long day of exploring. What really stood out was how intentional the whole experience is. They limit the number of guests and require reservations, so it never feels crowded or chaotic--just calm, quiet, and honestly kind of magical. We also loved that you can turn it into more than just a quick visit. Between the camping, yurts, and cabins, it's easy to stay overnight and fully unplug in nature. Overall, Maple Grove feels like a hidden wellness retreat rather than just a hot spring. If you're looking to relax, recharge, and soak in some of Idaho's best scenery, this place absolutely delivers. Check out our video on our socials @reessroots
