The owner is not only the director but a amazing actor and producer. He does everything from helping build the sets to directing to even acting. His role as Scrooge in the Christmas carol was so moving it brought me to tears. As for the rest of the team it's great to see them work together to help make such wonderful plays such as Sister act, Joseph and the amazing Technicolor dream coat, the Christmas carol and many more to come. The stage is always lovely to see from custom backgrounds and even the audience area being customized to fit the play being shown. I highly recommend seeing any play here and bring the family with you if you're ever in the area. All plays are suitable for all ages and the treats there for concessions are amazing from the fudge to the hot chocolate. All affordable and delicious.

They obviously love performing here. They are all so enthusiastic, and the adults in the cast really care about the children they are working with. (And the kids are just as professional as the adults!) They always greet the patrons after each show. It's a great family atmosphere. The singing, dancing, costumes, sets--everything is top notch. Every performance is pure fun--well worth the drive from Salt Lake.

Idaho Falls High School - They got rid of the roof

Idaho Falls High School

I loved being a part of Idaho Falls High School. I am a 1998 graduate…read more Idaho Falls used to be the crown jewel high school of the town. Lately though, most people think of I.F.H.S. as an afterthought. It used to be located in a very neighbor friendly and vibrant area for many years. The surrounding neighborhoods of John Adams, the numbered streets and even the not so friendly Bel-Air addition helped keep this school strong and a nice desirable living environment. Unfortunately, over the last 15 or so years the area has gone downhill. The numbered streets are seeing it's fair share of crime and the John Adams area is becoming a slum. There is growing movement to relocate I.F., and I feel that it is absolutely necessary, and I'm sure most other families who have a child who attends would agree. Most students who attend Idaho Falls now live south of town and either drive themselves, (always safe) take the bus or have parents provide their ride. The implication to get the school rebuilt can also be found at Frontier Field. A fairly huge athletic complex is being built for Idaho Falls. It includes all fields for the most popular sports including but not limited to: Football, soccer, baseball and softball. This is also found south of town and not in the middle of the city limits. When it comes to spirit, I feel it's lacking on the interior. The outside is fantastic though other than the letters that are always threatening to fall off on the outside of the gymnasium and knock someone stone cold. Tiger pride is always a strong suit though and the fans are the best in town, in my opinion. My biggest complaint with Idaho Falls was the overall learning experience. I guess that can vary depending on the person. Some teachers care and I'm glad that the teachers who did helped encourage me to get enough credits to graduate on time. Tiger for life!

The Civic Auditorium is now attached to the high school building is still the center for performing arts and is used for the high school graduation. This is the home of the Tigers!! The yearbook is known as the Spud Annual and the school newspaper as the Tiger Times. In 2012 it became a four year high school with incoming freshmen. The school song was written in 1927 and is as follows Dear old I.F high, we are with you; You're the one we are all fighting for. On the field in victory we'll cheer you: In defeat your name will never mar. We'll be true to the ones who uphold you; And keep your colors on high. When it's time to depart; We'll keep close to our heart; The memories of I.F High, Rah, Rah, Rah Gold and Black are the symbols of might; Never to be downed by a foe. Obtained by the virtues of work and fight; Our aim is to always hold them so. You will find sportsmanship in our athletes; On our men we can always rely. Swing dancing, in Idaho Falls? can't say how exited I was! I fell in love with swing dance the…read morefirst time I started, it's truly a blast, especialy when you get going, the venue right now isn't all that big, it bearly started but that doesn't mean it isn't fun. Defiantly is an awesome alternative to going to the movies or bowling or whatever limited amount of activities there is in Idaho falls. The instructors are very thorough, helpfully and friendly, especially with beginners I was very happy with their introductory lesson which was very nice rather than the, wing it, method. They where also very ready and willing to answer questions and give 1 on 1 help which is quite refreshing in a teacher. The price is also extremely reasonable for activity, $5 for adults, $3 for students. Which is a nice change compared to the ever growing price of movies or even bowling. Also the music is awesome, they have a wide selection of swing jazz, and it's perfect for dancing in my opinion, also the music ranges in tempo from slow, to quite fast (they except music suggestions also) and also a nice change is the music is always clean, which is quite important to me. The place is an old ballet studio with ballet bars along the wall but it cleans up nice as a good dance floor with nice warm lighting that isn't too dark but not like or in an operating room. theirs also mirrors which is nice for the lesson but are covered for the dance. overall, I'm a fan =).
