I hired Green Acres Landscape for a one day job to install two water lines and 12 sprinkler heads…read moreinto an existing sprinkler system. I paid half up front and waited for work to start, 3 weeks later I find they forgot to put me on their schedule. When they showed up, it was not the crew I was told would be there, just one guy with a shovel instead of power equipment. He dug some trenches 12" deep and others 3" deep. He said it was harder digging in the backyard so he only went 3" deep. He broke an existing PVC drainage line and started putting duct tape on it to fix it. I said fix it correctly and he left the job site. I called the office and they said he will be back in the morning to fix it. While I was standing there with him, in front of the broken pipe, he buried it without fixing it. I made him dig it up and fix it. When the sprinkler heads were installed and adjusted, I started the sprinkler system to test it. It watered the side of my house and my neighbors yard. He said the 25 foot ratchet heads were could not water an 8' wide yard without getting water on the house. They came out the next day and replaced the heads and tried again. They had issue after issue and moved and changed the type of head three more times. It was a total clown show. The sprinklers did not go to the property line and I had 18" of dead yard. A Relationship Manager came over and he looked at everything and said he would fix the following day, which he did. The next day everything was fixed and I was happy. The manager handed me a letter from the ladies in the office. I thought it was a gift certificate to a local restaurant for all the trouble I experienced, but it was a letter stating that they were done working on my sprinkler system and any other repairs or issues will cost me $82 an hr. It was a slap in the face and poor customer service. They turned a one day job into a nightmare without one word of regret.

He drives very aggressively and does not seem to have an idea of his length as I have seen him cut into closely, to change lanes and "get ahead!" I had to completely swerve my car off the road, to avoid being smashed by him! Two days later and nearly the same time and place, I saw him so it to someone else! I can tell you that my "First Impression" was not very good!

Then after that conversation I got a message from my property manageme saying the same thing that i was aggressive towards him and asked him to leave then there was an issue where I asked him to please not spray the weed killer in the backyard because I was planning on having a garden and my kids play in the yard but a few weeks later I saw him spraying the yard I said hey I asked you not to do that and he argued with me then of course called and cried about it to his supervisor and of course I got another message from my property management again more lies from this guy about how I was mean to him or whatever then there was an issue when I got my kids a play structure they wouldn't cut the grass or weed eat around it I asked him about that and of course he called his supervisor to cry about it then there were several areas that were extremely over grown I'm talking weeds over the fence and yes I have pictures finally after weeks they finally dealt with it well sort of because there are still big weeds there... not to mention that Every time my wife or I try to say hello to him he gets a look on his face like sour lemons he doesnt wave back or say hello or anything and has made this whole experience very uncomfortable there are still weeds and leaves and stuff built up behind the shed outside we've been here a year and they have never touched it and yes I have pictures of it! if it were up to me I would have fired this guy a long time ago just because of his rude disposition and shitty work ethic I'm glad to be able to finally share this I didn't want to make waves with my property management but we are moving and honestly part of the reason is this landscape company and the rude gardener they send to my house i absolutely do not tolerate adults lying I'm only giving them 1 star and that's only because I could not give them zero

This comes across very clearly in every decision and choice he makes to select materials, plants, products, etc. He also consulted me before every design decision was made, from the the height of the step leading to the backyard, to the exact color of the cement, to the exact placement of the plants before the digging took place. Another designer may have gone ahead and planted the plants per the architectural design, but Harley has this innate understanding that people change their minds when they see things actually laid out, or after they have time to think about the project as it it progressing. It is this insightful understanding about human nature, that greatly reduces stress during the project as you come to trust and appreciate these rare qualities that you don't find in most people. I am so pleased with the work Design Prodigy did in the backyard.
