She is incredibly caring and compassionate, which is exactly what healthcare should be about. We need more people like her. She deserves 100 stars for her excellent work and outstanding customer service. I couldn't thank you her enough and her drawings blood skill is exceptional, bravo!! Thank you! Nu 3/20 patient. This man who called me to get me scheduled was condescending, rude, and when I explained I was having issues with memory / cognition (hence me needing an MRI on my brain) he continued to belittle me when I had to ask him a second time for instructions on how to arrive to a facility I'd never been at. People like this have NO BUSINESS in healthcare! This organization is a joke and they should be ashamed of themselves. The people of Oregon deserve so much better than this, you'd get better healthcare in most third world countries than you do in Oregon - at least youre treated with a shred of dignity while dealing with the most frightening medical issues of your life!

Well, as a former employee myself, I never expected to become a patient, especially not an ICU Heart patient. It has been so long since I retired that nobody there knew me except for one nurse. I was very grateful for the level of professionalism I was accorded and the timeliness of everyone involved. Having a Triple Bypass is no picnic. However, the staff continued to assure me all along the way. All accommodations were made for my needs and that of the Mrs. Staff were exceedingly polite and very patient with us as we navigated this 'other side of the coin'. Everyone from Registration all the way to the CNA that wheelchaired me to the exit door were very nice. It is amazing how differently people come across when your life is in their hands. I am exceedingly grateful and appreciative of all the staff and care I received while I was there. Now I am home and completing recovery from my successful surgery. I feel great and look forward gratefully to the next few decades this surgery has provided me.

It's a nice…read moretouch that the doors to the elevator from the underground parking structure open automatically, regardless of whether you are walking or on wheels--for some reason there are a lot of places that don't make it easy for disabled folks or others who might need it to open the door automatically. The interior of the hospital is really beautiful--they did a great job. It honestly looks like a hotel lobby, not a hospital lobby. Nice if you're trying to forget the surroundings in which you find yourself, I suppose. But also very comfortable for visitors/waiting. It screams Pacific Northwest (that's a good thing). Where the place falls down big time is in its wait times. My mom needed to visit the ER and then spend the night for observation and she was waiting there 10 hours before she was moved to a room. That is simply unbelievable to me. And apparently long ER wait times are the norm--I have a friend who needs to visit occasionally for herself or her mom, and she's always mentioning the wait as well. I was surprised at the parking situation. I went to the parking garage since I assumed that was the parking, but apparently there's surface parking too. The garage is fairly small once you take out the on call, clergy, and other medical staff spots. There's no charge though, which confused me at first--even the original Sacred Heart Medical Center near the university charged for parking and they'd give you a free parking pass if you were a patient. But for a hospital this large (nearly 400 rooms, plus adjacent medical services and clinics) they don't have a parking garage or a multi-level underground parking thing which was a real surprise. I guess they're hoping folks will either come out using an LTD bus, cab, or park in the surface lot where it is. It's a nice touch that the doors to the elevator from the underground parking structure open automatically, regardless of whether you are walking or on wheels

Dr. Gupta truly CARES about his patients, and he takes the time to care for each as if they were the only appointment of the day. As procedures were contemplated and scheduled, he slowly and thoughtfully walked me through every detail, and he addressed every question that I had. I feel fortunate to have him as my heart specialist.

I told both the man and woman radiologist types that I had already had a high res C T scan of my chest only a couple months ago , they ought to look at that , but I was greeted by indifference and hostility . When Akshay's x ray report came out it said my lungs were clear , strange as the ct reports dynamic nodules that ranged to 8 mm in size in my lungs. The next blunder was to request a ct scan of my chest in his report, like it had never been done before let alone the three times , as if I had not already suffered the huge radiation load at his same office of Oregon Imaging . He was obviously too lazy and stupid to notice that the findings he made were factually incorrect and the test he requested already existed in his files. If this dr was a clerk in a grocery store I might lose a few dollars but when this dr goes oops , the false negative finding KILLS PEOPLE . This is a felony error but he is the authority , what am I going to do ? Who is going to clear this up ? If experience is any indication it wont be his employer . Dieing of pain is hard enough without having to do oregon imaging's record keeping or H.R. house cleaning .

The front lobby decor is very inviting and there's plenty of seating, so if you want to sit alone you can. The back of the facility was very clean and had great decor as well. I highly recommend OIC for all of your image needs. They've also got two locations. I was shocked to find out that my appointment had actually been scheduled for over a month earlier -- and I had completely missed it. When I asked the receptionist if they send reminders, like most medical offices do, she replied, "Didn't you get the information?" I explained that while I did receive the original scheduling details, I had expected a reminder since I juggle a busy schedule with five kids, multiple sports commitments, and work. Her response was, "That's why we give you the information -- so you can write it down." I found her tone and lack of empathy incredibly frustrating. It was clear that patient care and understanding are not priorities here. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I have only good things to say about the aforementioned group of people. However OMG has hired on at least 2 medical assistants (MA) who lack in tact, professionalism and courtesy. At Southtowne I had personal medical information practically broadcasted across a waiting room for all other patients to hear. The same MA refused to follow up with a PA who worked in the same office which lead to me taking an incomplete series of tests, even after I persisted with the request several times. The NOW Clinic is employing an MA who thinks it's appropriate to leave tests results on voicemail in an ominous manner with absolutely no explanation of the results. I cannot even begin to describe the amount of undue stress this caused on my entire family. OMG would GREATLY benefit by raising it's highering standards for MAs and focusing on impriving efficacy with better training and oversight.

When he retired they refused to reassign his patients and said "we aren't accepting NEW OHP patients", nvm the fact I've been with the practice for 20 years. The letter I received about his upcoming retirement said to call for further steps. I did and they said they can't tell me anything about further steps, can't reassign me to a new doctor, and I have to wait until he actually retires to see what happens. Fast forward a couple months and I call with a serious health concern and request to be seen, don't care by who ( in the past I've always just been scheduled with the crescent clinic), and was told "your doctor retired and we don't take Trillium so you're not our patient anymore, we can't see you." Incredibly unprofessional, disrespectful, and unethical behavior. Will be reporting to the Oregon medical board. OMG used to be a great clinic. Since Optum took over, they've become a dumpster fire. They also badly mishandled my Dad's treatment for years. They were giving him biologics chemotherapy for his condition as well, with zero oversight from any sort of doctor, and failed to have him overseen by a rheumatologist - the rheumatology clinic here failed me as well and is a total joke. He finally got his treatment handled through Slocum and is in much better shape now. He said he wasted years with OMG mismanaging his condition and unduly suffering due to their incompetence.
