Bought a voucher via livingsocial for a 1 hour trail ride for two and cashed in on it for Valentines =) It was the first time I've ever ridden a horse, I'm not sure if it was my bf's. It was also the first time I've even been in Will Rogers, so the whole experience was new to me, and super fun! Our guide was really nice and knowledgeable about the horses and Will Rogers park overall. The horse I rode was called Cherry, gorgeous Cherry brown hair and she used to be a Polo horse. My bf's was Artie, a beautiful black beauty and used to be a racing horse! They are so big and when you get on them it's kinda intimidating at first but so cool at the same time, they're so huge =). It was a total of 6 people per trail tour, 3 couples, and our guide. She took us up to inspiration point and back, all the while telling us all kinds of trivia about the park and our horses. The horses pretty much just followed one another up, they have been doing it awhile so it wasn't difficult to get them going places. It was such a wonderful experience and a perfect Valentines activity!

We had a great time! Our guide, Rob was very nice and patient. The trail was pretty easy. My friend who had never ridden a horse before had no problem. These horses are well trained, and know what to do. My horse was a little cranky, but she knew where to go. The view was amazing! You should wait to take pictures until you get to the very top, the Inspiration Point. The guide will take pictures for you. You will see everything from LA downtown to the ocean. I would love to come back here again.

Finally took my Grandaughter on her long promised ride. Im so glad I chose Westside, I did get an awesome deal on Groupon but I would have gone there anyway based on reviews. The grounds are beautiful the trails are beautiful too but most important the horses are very well taken care of and very gentle. Our guide Dayna was very kind, patient and very knowledgeable she knows her horses!! I enjoyed her as much as the ride! I will definitely return for another ride. Thank you Dayna and Westside for making me the best Grandma in the whole world

Sunset is on the far right. He's an OG! LOL

My guide was Rob, he was very nice and patient. He took my photo for me with beautiful LA as my back drop! He also waited for my friend who was late and I thought that was pretty cool. Rob was really helpful with the young man whom had never rode a horse before. Plus there were Polo matches you could watch. This was the most AWESOME ride ever! Shouts out to Princess Anza and Sunset! Oh and Janice is the best FYI if you can't reach her by phone to make reservations emailing her is BEST!

Fell in love with this horse. Great time here!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel welcome and at ease. The instructor, Laura, was knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to explain everything in detail and ensuring that my daughter feels comfortable before getting on the horse. The horses themselves were well-trained and gentle, making it easy for a beginner like my daughter to learn the basics of riding. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with a spacious arena for practicing different exercises and techniques. Throughout the lessons in these past 6 months we have see the improvement and how she is gaining confidence with each ride. Laura provides helpful feedback and guidance, pushing Delilah to challenge herself and try new things. Overall, I highly recommend taking horseback riding lessons at this stable. I read a recent review left by someone claiming that the staff here are not kind or welcoming to minorities. This has never been the case for us as we are Mexican. So that statement is far from being true. I highly recommend this place to all who are looking to start horseback riding. My daughter is 14 and looks forward to her classes with Laura and her favorite horse, Skylar. Thank you so much! Best, Delilah's parents

There are quite a few riding schools in the area and we checked them out. I am so happy we landed here. We love FFF!

We had to move out of the area and I notified the camp as soon as possible, asking to cancel and requesting a refund. I was told they don't offer refunds unless someone from the waitlist takes the spot--which would be fair if they actually tried. Despite multiple email follow-ups over several weeks and being extremely patient, no real effort was made on their end. I personally know someone on the waitlist for our session who never received a call or update. If the policy is dependent on the spot being filled, then it's the camp's responsibility to at least try to fill it. Parents--if you're considering this camp, just know that if anything changes, you'll be stuck. No flexibility, no proactive communication, and no accountability in their own process. And if you're on the waitlist, don't just wait for a call--because they may never make one. Be ready to chase them down. Really disappointed in how this was handled.

He loved the variety of activities and made so many new friends. He came home with fun stories each day. I loved that they offered a variety of options from 2 days/week to 5 days. We returned last summer and an unexpected and sudden medical event threw our summer for a loop. They were beyond kind and accommodating. Michael, the owner, personally made sure we were taken care of at a very scary time and was just incredibly kind and communicative. I can't thank him and his staff enough for the support. My son attended Adventurewood camp for the first time this week. For the most part he enjoyed…read morehimself -- particularly the characters they introduce throughout the week. However, we decided to pull him out for next week because of a very disturbing situation. He shared that a counselor had pushed him with both hands on his shoulders during a capture the flag activity. He had dropped his flag and was putting it back on when a counselor (he didn't know her name) pushed him back hard enough to make him lose his balance and fall. She also barked "you need to reset!" She didn't ask if he was ok or help him up. You'd think if this was an accidental push and he fell over she would say something like "sorry bud are you ok? Here let me help you up" but nope, not a word. A friend he's attending camp with witnessed the whole incident. Since I pick them both up in the afternoons they both recounted this situation to me and both of them noted how inappropriate her behavior was. I immediately reached out to Michael, the owner of the camp. He said he wanted to identify this counselor and get her side of the story. Understandable. My son felt uncomfortable going back the next day but I reassured him it would be handled and offered to drop him off in the morning and stick around to talk to Michael and the counselor. I wanted him to feel safe. Michael identified her (her name is Carson) and said he wanted to talk to her first, which he did a few feet away from me. I heard her say she didn't push him. They then walked over to me and she again denied everything. So we asked both kids to come over and recount what happened. They both did -- in front of her -- and reiterated she pushed him. She denied even touching him. So Michael suggests at this point that perhaps it was an accident and my son responds by saying "how do you push someone like that by accident?!" No response. So I ask her, are you saying these kids are lying? She again said she didn't touch him and at this point we send the kids away. I'm incensed because not only does she gaslight both of them to their face but tells this bold faced lie to her boss in front of the campers and me. I tell her I believe them and I think she's the one lying. At this point she gives me this dirty look - angry, irritated and almost rolls her eyes at me. I turn to Michael and say "and now she's giving ME an attitude?!" Unbelievable. In a follow up call, he tells me how good of a person she is and that this is shocking for him to hear but that she doesn't seem like someone who would do something like this...that she's getting her teacher credentials and he knows her really well. I am getting the vibe he doesn't actually believe any of this and he sounds very skeptical. I respond by telling him that it's almost always surprising when people exhibit bad behavior and that even teachers do bad things...that doesn't make her any more credible in my eyes. He acknowledged that. In fact, it's worse because I would be really concerned to have someone like that teaching a kid. Lack of empathy, accountability, and integrity. I mean, I think it's great he's trying to have her back but there are moments in life when you need to draw a line and act swiftly...these are one of those moments. Because ultimately, this impacts the reputation of your camp. I told him that it would be good to offer training to his staff in case this ever happens again in the future and honestly he sounded baffled and asked me to clarify...I said well maybe tell your staff not to give dirty looks to a mom who's clearly upset that her son just got pushed by a grown adult at summer camp?? I told him that the response to this situation could've resulted in a totally different outcome. Had she said something like "I really don't recall pushing you but if I inadvertently did and made you feel bad I'm sorry - I didn't mean to do that" - I would've went home that morning feeling fine about the situation. When I told him this he said that he's not going to police all her reactions, that she's still young, that she's still learning and made all kinds of excuses for her. Exhausting. Apparently she got a "warning" and will sit out of the flag activity (umm, ok...). He seems like a smart guy and wish him nothing but success in the future and I was earnestly trying to offer advice for how to handle a situation like this better but it fell on deaf ears. I really hope that some kind of learning comes out of this for both of them. Oh and to top it off, my son's friend told her mom that Carson was giving her looks several times throughout the day today and when she asked what kind she said "side eye" looks. NOT COOL. My son also said she was kind of mean to him but wondering why they were even in close proximity when Michael said they'd absolutely be separated and would not see each other? Validates we both made the right choice by pulling them both out. He offered a refund but I'm still pissed about the situation.

Seeing Machu Picchu has been on my bucket list for 20+ years, but this would be a bit dear to the wallet. Then she mentioned staying there. Wait, what?!? Did that mean we'd stay at a bucket list hotel of mine? Emails were sent and Jennifer confirmed. Yes, staying at the Sanctuary Lodge was a highlight of this trip. WooHoo! So, arrangements were made, permissions asked, the passport placed on expedited renewal and the deposit placed. Subsequent payments in installments were very helpful. The itinerary is very well planned. The yoga instructor changed and ended up being Kilty who also led my buddy in Bhutan. She is very lovely inside and out and was a joy to practice with. Their partner in Peru took care of everything and more. Phenomenal hotels, fantastic food, and loads of peeks into the Peruvian culture. And you can't ask for a better guide than Miguel Pacsi. Good guides "will know when to slow down or quicken the pace as they are actively reading the client's demeanor," and Miguel did just that. He's hyper-aware of the group, observed us on a hike early in the trip and was able to make our one day hike on the Inca Trail doable within our limits. And you can tell Miguel loves his country as he happily shared his knowledge of the local culture, history, and geography.  Thanks to this trip, I've checked off two items on my bucket list and have fabulous memories that will last.

Before departing for Panama, everyone at the company replied almost immediately and thoroughly to my email messages and many questions. Everyone kept me informed and safe at all times during my travels to, from, and within Panama. The places visited and the experiences offered during this trip felt customized to my group's interests. The Travel Yogi is in a class by itself when it comes to customer service--unbelievable in the best possible way! Furthermore, the yoga instructors are highly knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly to all. Among the members of my Panama group, the amount of yoga experience greatly varied. No matter--both yoga instructors made all of us feel comfortable; inspired and encouraged everyone; and adjusted their morning and evening yoga classes according to everyone's energy levels each day. These days, it's rare to get what you pay for. The Travel Yogi, however, provides much more than what you'll pay at every level, from trip preparation to travel experiences and excursions to the yoga classes, etc. Highly recommend!
