Restrooms and facilities are immaculate Food concessions are priced well below other venues (think where some local football and baseball are played) People are above average on friendly and helpful scale. The Bad: Seating - it's like they said challenge accepted from some airline company who said we can cram more people in with less leg room. We sat in the middle of a row and every time someone fitter in needed to get out/in the entire row to the aisle had to step out to accommodate them.

If you are in Fort Worth you have to catch an event at dickies arena!…read more We went to a March madness game here - I don't think I've ever been to a cleaner arena. There was no scuffs on walls, the bathrooms were nice and clean, even people seemed to be respectful and not leave messes behind at their seats when they left. It isn't a huge arena so there really aren't bad seats. We enjoyed our time here and would return if ever in the Dallas or Fort Worth area again.

In this sports fan's humble opinion, the much anticipated 2015 renovation of TCU's basketball arena…read moreis a little bit good and a little bit meh. The good parts: A beautiful new lobby and modern concourses. Modern bathrooms, and concessions with tables to sit and eat. A hall of fame area. A beautiful new court and scoreboard, plus stats panels underneath the media tables. Floor seating looks beautiful and comfy...which leads me to the meh part. They kept the 1950's metal seating frames and simply replaced the metal seat backs and seats with plastic. So unless you weigh 110 lbs and are a size 2 or smaller, these seats are very narrow and very uncomfortable. I realize I have a large rear end, but come on people, how hard would it have been to install seats with an extra inch or two of width?

Even with that I looked at and read everything. I was there an hour and 15 minutes on the first floor. Lining two stairways are framed horse themed scarves from Hermes of France. I have been a fan since I was in middle school and they had a very large collection that was well curated. Why three stars then? The actual atmosphere of the museum sucks. It takes up half of what used to be the exhibition hall at the Old Arlington convention center. And it looks like it. It also sounds like it. When we were here the other half of the area was being used for the Smurfs experience. Which I totally support and there were lots of young people having a blast. And you could hear all of them. A long with sounds from their experience. I love museums, but they have a certain type of atmosphere for a reason. They were in the old JC Penny building in downtown Arlington for ages. It was old and rather worn, but it didn't feel like you were in a convention hall, I preferred it. Also, parking is $10. Didn't see that on their website, and it would be helpful when you were looking up the location that they mention they are inside the esports arena or the old convention center. It isn't obvious.

Wow! Globe Life Field is awesome!…read more This was my second visit to Globe Life Field, and I'm just as impressed as the first time. The location is fantastic, with three stadiums right next to one another: AT&T Stadium (Jerry's World), Globe Life Field (home of the Texas Rangers), and the old Rangers stadium, which is still used for events and, I believe, soccer. Globe Life Field is massive, and being able to watch a Rangers game in air conditioning is a game-changer! The food here is outstanding, with plenty of options to choose from. We sat on the second level on the first-base side, and the seats were great. The stadium is easy to navigate, and getting around was a breeze. Parking was also pretty easy. We found a lot for $30, just about a 10-minute walk from the entrance. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Go Rangers!

I will say I have been to a lot of retractable roof baseball stadiums. The typical issue is they…read moretend to feel very generic with the design, the colors, the lights, etc. I will say the rust colored roof helps it feel more like Texas as opposed to a drab steel design that I've seen in other stadiums. Statues of Pudge Rodriguez and Nolan Ryan, much respect for those two. Good music, a bit loud at times though. Plenty of WWE themes too! It was Dollar Dog Wednesday. I wound up getting one in the fifth inning. And it was weak. No snap on the dog. And when I see that really light pink color, it's usually not a good sign. Maybe the highlight was the relish. And another thing, how can a stadium in Texas have Sweet Baby Ray's as their bbq sauce? It's Chicago based and way too corporate. Good stadium, not as much character as the old one. But the A/C is so welcomed.
