Billed as the largest shoe store in Arkansas, Wilkerson's has a huge selection of top name shoes for the family. My son, who works there, used to tell me that he was in North Mall one day and East Mall the next, so imagine my surprise when I first came in and saw that it wasn't really a mall at all, just different sections spread out in all directions. It's huge! The staff couldn't be nicer. I've met pretty much everyone there and they all come over to say'hi' to me when I'm in. It's a family store to be sure. I've been directed to the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned as well..last year, Omni7 Pro/Grid and yesterday, a pair of Vasque waterproof Gore tex hiking boots. I so love the way they fit on my feet! And the boots, while at $155 seem steep, are assuredly going to last me for a while. And no, I don't get my son's discount..that would be a form of nepotism, wouldn't it? But I do wish they worked on commission there. Guess that would create a fierce competition among staff though.. If you take something back don't expect your money back if you paid with debit card. They took my money the day I purchased but a week later when I returned my purchase I couldn't get my money back. I've been waiting 3 days which is bull crap. They should have given me cash back. So I will never shop there again . There stuff tears up in 2 months away and are way over priced. No more of my money I will never recommend them to anyone. read more

I have decided that After shopping twice around Conway, Ar on two separate occasions, spending hours looking and trying on a limited selection in the dept store shoes, That I will only shop here at Wilkinson's Mall! Wilkinson's has every name brand you can think of with comparable prices plus if you find a lower price, they will meet it or beat it. Plus and most importantly, all the employees seems to be quite educated and knowledgeable about their brands and they wear shoes from their store so they can share their personal experience and these are characteristics that I look in a store and working with compassionate employees. A few years ago I decided to check out Wilkinson's Mall and was surprised at what I found! I found shoes that went up to size 18 for men!! What luck! My son needed 16 or 17 depending on the shoe. My son needed tennis shoes especially new for the NCAA that came to Alltel Arena, now Verizon Arena. He had to wear dress casual outfits,but, could where tennis shoes since he worked within the arena and lots of walking on cement floors. Sorry, back to the shoes. I was very lucky at that time. I bought a pair of black tennis shoes as well as red & white ones by Nike. My son was so happy to get new shoes for comfort and meet the dress requirements. The section, by the exit registers, is where I get my son's shoes which are very reasonably priced. One of my son's co-workers was glad to find out where she could find a shoe size large enough for her son's feet and not have to special order them. I have even bought Nike's slide on sandals for my son as well as shoes, sandals and tennis shoes for myself. I would recommend Wilkinson's Mall to anyone! read more

DO NOT GO HERE! If you're a blue collar worker, find anywhere else to go. I paid for my $150 work boots, then saw a sale that I wondered over to look at and found another item that I went and paid for. I had my other purchase in my hand also, the guy waiting on me asked if I had paid for them and I said yes, he gave me a look like he didn't believe me then asked to see my receipt, I showed him. He was rude and condescending, kept giving me the look. But he never asked the VERY young girls he was flirting with the whole time I was in his section if they had paid for their items they were carrying around. He never asked if I needed assistance or even said hello. Worst shopping experience I've ever experienced. If you're not young, blonde, or preppy; Then expect to be treated like a thief in this store. Maybe they should set up better practices in order to not offend a customer who works hard and has money to spend, but will never spend it there again. read more
