The staff are very friendly and I loved that they allowed me to taste their açaí before buying a bowl. Let's be real acai lovers, not every one is good. For the first time, I saw options for different bases aside from açaí and pitaya. Their other bowl options were banana and coconut and mango but I didn't like any other flavor better than the açaí. I will say that the coconut/banana with spirulina was pretty good, but I ended up getting the Nutella bowl. The portion size was humongous and I thought the price point was fair. The menu was pretty extensive offering bowls, smoothies, pressed juices and cold brew. The atmosphere was casual, friendly and vibrant. It is definitely a laid back atmosphere where you would be comfortable eating and chatting with friends or on the computer doing some work. It wasn't the best açaí I've had but definitely worth returning.

My delivery person arrived around 8:15 am and sent me a message that the door was locked and the lights were off. He waited for another 10 minutes before picking up a second order. He offered to return to the store, and upon arrival I received a notification that my order was canceled by the shop. This notification was received 40 minutes past due.

The current business will not honor gift cards and only accept cash or Venmo payments. My pre-pandemic experiences were top notch. I tried to book an appointment and reached a voicemail that said text only. Address is different than advertised on webpage. Since the owner benefited from my Giftcard and refused to return services for the money she accepted, I won't be going back. I just wanted to share my most recent experience, in case your expectations were based on a previous experience.

I'm all about sustainability so I didn't mind. Although the straws were plastic... I ordered the Islander which has mango, yogurt, banana, pineapple seeds and your choice of coconut milk, almond milk or coconut water. I got the coconut water and decided I wanted to have something green so I added spinach which I was informed would be an additional 50 cents. Now, me personally as a first time guest would've loved to have had that comped, but hey, there's no such things as a free meal... or even just free spinach. The smoothie was delicious by the way. The person who made it however could've been a little more gracious and hospitable IMHO. While I waited for my smoothie to be prepared a kind lady offered to give me a tour of the place which I thought was a wonderful gesture. I didn't get her name, unfortunately. She showed me the salt chambers, and the esthetician room where facials and other services are performed. I think I saw the massage space as well. She also said they have a meditation room available for rent and someone that leads guided meditations on occasion. Not really sure why I didn't see it. Perhaps it was in use. Memberships to the spa are available. Pro Tip: When you check in you get 25 minute complimentary salt chamber experience with purchase of a drink! So needless to say I'll be back for that.

It's a place I…read morefrequent on my days off, and last week was my first time dining there since their recent menu flip. That morning I ordered one of my favorites, the lox bagel. I didn't realize that with the new menu changes, ordering a lox bagel meant all assembly required-- by the customer. I received a plastic to-go box with a toasted bagel, a ramekin of cream cheese, a ramekin mixture of capers and onions, and smoked salmon wrapped in a deli sheet. I was puzzled and asked for clarification from a sales associate, as the order was not to-go. I want to stress the fact that there was no negligence whatsoever on the part of the employee-- she's great and always makes my day when I see she's working. However, I find it to be quite a bizarre policy to require a guest to construct their own sandwich. Part of the reason people dine out is to be cared for and have a stress-free morning. It was also a waste of plastic cutlery, as I used a single knife to spread cream cheese and tossed the unneeded fork and spoon. Now while I am proud of my sandwich build and the flavor was good, I was left with fingers that smelled like salmon despite washing my hands multiple times. Not exactly what I was hoping for at 10 am on my day off from working in a restaurant. I understand the fine details of menu flips can be a bit clumsy at first, but I hope management receives this feedback and reconsiders this self-assembly method. I love this place and the atmosphere and staff. The lox bagel experience just didn't hit the mark for me.

I was traveling and really didn't want to leave and go into the city to another location, so I suffered with watching the staff be so unconcerned about giving me an update or curtesy letting me know why it was taking so long. Each visit was worse than the first visit. I will never ever stop to this local again and warn anyone who's thinking about stopping, do exactly the same. Go see it for yourself and you will disappointed and disgusted with how bad the customer service is.

We did an embarrassingly large curbside order today to give it a try. And everything was fabulous! So what did we get? Here we go: Misto Completo: this is a ham, cheese, bacon, and tomato sandwich, topped with a fried egg, oregano and olive oil, served on a freshly baked French roll Choripan: Argentinan chorizo on a freshly baked roll with grilled onions and chimichurri sauce on a fresh baked French roll Pamonha a Moda: Brazilian sweet corn tamale stuffed with cheese and sausage Pao de queijo regular and Pao de queijo com queijo catupiry: these are cheese bread (regular) and cheese bread stuffed with catupiry cheese (Brazilian cream cheese) Croquetta de bacalhao: salt cod croquettes Coxhina de Frango e Catupiry and coxhina de bolinha de queijo: chicken and catupiry fritters and corn and cheese fritters. Polenta Frita: fried polenta fries And we ordered 6 of their fresh French rolls to go (they freeze perfectly). The food was just amazing. The sandwiches were unique and perfect. The tamale was different than a Mexican tamale as it was softer and tasted more like corn. It was also huge! The salt cod fritters were outstanding. And the coxhina were addictive. A few weeks ago I bought their O Portugues sandwich which is a fresh roll, toasted, with catupiry cheese, tomato, oregano and olive oil. I still think about how good that was! They serve breakfast starting at 8:00am during the week, 9:30 on Saturday, and 11:30 on Sunday. And they serve it all day. And did I mention that they bake the French rolls in house daily? And they serve dinner specials on Friday and Saturday evenings. What a great addition to the local food scene. Congratulations Sid and Nora!
