It's a small local place. The carne guisada had a strange taste. The mix in taco was very good. Service was just okay. Clean though. Here is what bothered me. The cafe de olla was delicious but cold. When I asked for a hot one they stuck it in the microwave. How do I know you ask...because when they brought back the coffee cup I couldn't even drink out of it. It almost burned my lip badly. My husband was done with his coffee so he poured mine into his cup and I was able to enjoy it. It was just crazy to me that they handled that like this. Oh and pancakes were good too. read more

The food was just pretty bland. Eggs and potato needed flavor. I ordered the chicken and waffles plate. The waffle was good, The chicken not so much, hard to cut into. I guess i'm used to strips but this was a breaded breast and very tough to chew on as well. read more

First time trying this place and we were dissaapointed. I ordered the pancakes, eggs and bacon but the pancakes tasted dry with no flavor. The eggs and bacon were fine. We also ordered a potato and chorizo taco and although the chorizo had good flavor there wasn't much of it. It was more potato than chorizo. Also the tortilla tasted like it was out of a bag from HEB. It tasted stale, like it had been sitting around for a while and just reheated. Needless to say we were very dissaapointed. I live down the street from Wildflower Cafe and it's always great. This past weekend, I took my husband's family and everyone really enjoyed it and their diverse menu! There really is something for everyone here. My latte was surprisingly strong and delicious. I wasn't expecting good espresso. Everyone's plate had really good presentation. Came here for breakfast, ordered the waffles plate, the scrambled eggs plate, chilaquiles taco, bean and cheese taco, two slices of avocado and 3 waters, and our total with tip was $40. Insane. The drip coffee was NOT good--worse than gas station coffee, I really suggest the owner tastes something like Local Coffee, Merit Coffee, What's Brewing is an awesome wholesaler too, they have amazing beans. If you're gonna be a proper cafe and charge $2.50 for coffee, make it good. The food was edible but nothing special. The potatoes that came w our meal were cold and just barely dipped in some hot oil, not properly fried at all. The eggs were dry and very small portions. The beans were good. The chilaquiles taco had velveeta cheese in it for some reason. You cannot serve velveeta cheese products when you're charging almost $4 for one taco. I asked for some avocado for my baby, they gave me two slices that were so hard and green, and they charge $.75 per slice but the waitress went and asked the owner to change her mind, I was charged $.75 instead of $1.50. They have a square fee, that's so tacky, your prices vs. portions are already penny pinching, you don't need to charge a fee. That's just greed. So, save $40 and just go somewhere else. First time here. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos. Was reuniting with a friend and so I forgot photos. Cute little corner spot with outdoor bistro seatings and inside cafe seatings. You seat yourself and a staff will take your order. I had their breakfast platter: 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 bacon (opted for pork chop instead). Pancakes were nice and thick, but moist and fluffy. Pork chop was good, but I wouldn't say it's great. I've had great pork chops at a different local spot. My friends ordered the avocado toast and the verde chilaquiles. They said their food was delicious too. Service was great and friendly. I enjoyed the local art paintings on the wall by a local artist. I saw that they had desserts too, but we were too full. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back! read more

First time and possibly last. Fair prices compared to others especially for the quality of the food and location. We paid cash but after reviewing the receipt we were charged a square fee. Why charge a customer a square fee when we didn't pay with a credit card? Businesses nowadays want the customers to pay business expenses. I don't support that! read more

I should've taken a pic when I got the plate but it looked and smelled so good I had to dig in. The food was so delicious, I think it was the best enchiladas I've had. They were cheese but the sauce had carne, and the fajitas were perfect! My daughter ate all the meat & kept say "mmm mommy it's delicious" and coming from a 3 year old, I'd take this as a huge compliment! We were greeted immediately walking in by Juan and him and the other gentleman took such good care of us. Everybody was very polite All of this for $10 can't beat that!! Lunch specials on point! I really wanted to love Wildflower Café, but my visit was disappointing. Service was very slow -- it took about 15 minutes to get my latte, and it was served cold because the machine was down. My food took around 40 minutes to come out, and unfortunately my French toast was also cold. The atmosphere is nice, but the overall experience fell short of expectations. read more
