We actually pulled into the parking lot to go to the Chinese buffet, but I guess it's been moved since we were last in Crawfordsville. But I'm so glad! The pizza at Wildfire was sooo good. They began cooking as we ordered and had it out within minutes. We got the pepperoni honey, and this your warning, it is SPICY! We love hot honey, but this was something else. I will be ordering something else, but I can't wait to try more of the combinations - they look tasty! The service we received really put it over the top. It appeared to be a family behind the counter and everyone was so kind, especially the man at the register that we had great conversation with. The restaurant is very clean and modern. The family is clearly religious, and decorated and played music that reflected that (just something to keep in mind if that doesn't jibe with you.)

    Eating speaks louder than words!

I have had the same perfect pizza several times, and my husband is working his way through the menu. 5 stars every visit.

Amorino Gelato al Naturale arrived in Indy in the late summer of 2025. I'd tried to visit once,…read morehowever, the kiosk I was using had some issues and my frustration had me depart. Today, I returned during a day off from work and after voting. Amorino Gelato, as should be apparent, is part of a national chain of Italian gelato shops using all-natural ingredients. I was tempted to go for a cone since they're beautifully made and artistic, but if you've met me you know I'm a bit of a slob and I had plans for the evening that mandated no weird gelato drips on my shirt. The basics: This is located in the food court of Fashion Mall inside the large center section that held Hard Truth Distillery and HoiTea ToiTea. The latter is still in the food court, but they moved away from the center spot. Fashion Mall does fairly well with accessibility. The food court entrance has several accessible parking spots and automatic doors. You order at a kiosk and pay with a credit card. I somewhat assume there's a way to pay by cash, but I don't know that. Once you order, they'll call your name when it's ready. I ordered the "classic" size of a coffee gelato cup. As I'm a boring human being, I didn't add a bunch of toppings. My total was about $8. It's definitely a more premium price for a more premium gelato. They also carry hot and cold drinks, gelato macarons, crepes, waffles, gelato cakes, and they do have vegan sorbets. Interestingly, Amorino opened its first location in 2002 in Paris (France, not Texas). Ingredients are all free of preservatives, artificial flavors and flavor enhancers. The cones are quite pretty - they do "petals" or layers of flavor. It's a cool concept, though they don't do it with cups/dishes. Fun facts: Amorino has 36 flavors of gelati and sorbet, has developed 20 organic flavors to date, has 300 stores throughout the world, and is present in 22 countries. The Fashion Mall is the only Indiana location as of right now. Throughout my visit, business was steady even on a rainy, chilly election day. While I'm not quite ready to fork over that 5th star, this is an easy 4-star for me and there's no doubt I'll return.

I got a chicken parm and a meatball parm a few cookies, an espresso and an Italian hot chocolate.. My question, like someone else had wrote below about the bakery goods. The place is way to small to make in house. Most of the cake slices and mini treats are obviously pre packaged. So I wonder where they get the goods from and how long they sit before they renew. The service was good. Counter help was polite and pleasant. I grew up in the 70s and 80s in the North East and remember the smells of the food, bread and baked goods being made IN HOUSE. Stacco House had none of this. If I was blindfolded walking in I would never know I was in an Italian Bakery. It had more of a smell of a standard coffee house. Stacco passed, but in a way that was sort of disappointing. If you are going to call yourself authentic cuisine maybe try a little harder then to just have some Dean Martin playing in the background. It was almost Olive garden-ish. Sorry if I am offending anyone but when you have had real, you know what real is. Also, the nail in the coffin..... The business card. The Italian flag, from the flag pole out is green white red. The card has it on an angel as red white green. If the flag is draped vertical, green is on the top.
