First, I would like to say that I have been wanting to try this location for quite a while. I don't get to Crawfordsville too often as I come from Kingman. I must say the atmosphere and the service were great. However, the problem I had was with the wings that I ordered. They didn't seem to be fresh. They were completely covered in sauce, which is fine, and I had the dipping sauces, but the wings themselves seemed to be old and not fresh. I regret to say that. read more

We haven't eaten there in years because of how long it takes from start to finish. Last night I let my husband talk me into trying it again (even though I did not have two hours to waste). Low and behold, after we got seated, we waited for FIFTEEN minutes and not one person even acknowledged us. I watched as two servers continued to walk right by us and never even made eye contact. As a former server of many years - do better! There were maybe six other tables seated in the whole place. And we were placed right next to two of them. It was great when it first opened all those years ago, but has steadily dropped in quality and service. It's very expensive, takes a very long time to get your food (wether you're dining in or picking up), and often gets the order wrong. Location: Wild Burger in Crawfordsville Indiana. A poor re-naming of Buffalo Wild Wings's "burgers out the backdoor" Menu: The menu is highly limited. With 2-3 Beef patty options and 2-3 Chicken patty options. With the intent of the customer customizing the burger to their liking. Yet, the options for customization are very limited and make little sense in combinations, unless you already know what all the toppings taste like in their arrangements. Personally, I have no idea what hatch chili Aoli tastes like without having it before hand! Service: We ordered delivery as there is no way to go and sit down. If you do your due diligence you will quickly find yourself sitting in Buffalo Wild Wing's. Reminder as mentioned, this is thier poorly hidden "burger's out the backdoor". Service was through Grubhub, and as normal they did fine! Meal: The meal itself was not good. First up is the customization. With 3 burgers ordered all slightly different. One regular burger - no toppings, one burger with cheese and lettuce only, and then one burger with swiss cheese and bacon only. Not a single burger came as ordered. All of them had the toppings listed but also add on mustard, mayonaise, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. (see pictures) I understand that people are really liking the hand smashed burger trend right now, but can we all stop ripping off cutsomers by smashing them to paper thin patties? (see pictures) The patties were smashed so thin, even the surface of the patty was nearly destroyed. (see burger road rash in pictures) We also got the French Fries and Potato Wedges, both were poorly seasoned, and mushy - yet some burned and dried out. (see pictures) Also for pure added pain, check the shine of that grease in the bun! ( in picures) These dripped grease. Yet, the taste does not support the amount of grease. Pricing: $$$$ What can I say 3 hamburgers, 2 orders of french fries, and an order of potato wedges for over $50 dollars! please note, we did NOT order any drinks. (this is also WITHOUT the Grubhub driver tip, and we have GrubHub free delivery!) Overall: A solid 2.0/10 - Go somewhere else. The burgers were edible. The Burgers stand a chance, but the complete failure of execution in asking for customization on every order, and then simply ignoring the order is beyond ignorant. Just do your servers a favor and replace the phones. Stop pinching pennies. Stopped here on our way back from Turkey Run National Park. We were hiking and needed sustenance. I got the garden salad with grilled chicken. Chicken was cooked well. It was juicy. I ordered their season draft because it was only $4 but they still hadn't run out of the previous seasonal beer. So that was my only option as a replacement but they wouldn't honor the $4 draft, instead they said it'd be 10% off my bill which didn't get close to the same price for a $4 beer. I know it's a small thing but if you're offering a monthly beer, you should have it. If you don't, then that's on your business and you should be making up for that fact and at least offer the same price for the replacement beer. read more

Retrain you servers!! When we ask for water with no ice, that's what we want! When I ask for unsweet tea with sweet and low, I shouldn't have to ask for sweetener again, 15 mins later. The BWWs in C-ville has made some wonderfully welcome strides. The bar manager there has taken it upon himself to gather a respectable collection of local craft brews on tap, including (currently) Flat 12's excellent Half-Cycle IPA. This gives it, by far, the best beer selection in Montgomery County, and that alone might make it the best bar in town ... if only it was walking distance from, well, anything. The one lamentable aspect of the beer selection, however, is that you still have to do a fair bit of work just to take advantage of it. The servers are woefully and persistently ignorant of the offerings -- and even if you know what they have, and even if you know that they have it, and even if you order it by name (yes, really!), there's still a decent chance that you won't get it. Allow me to explain: Say, for example, that you want "Upland Brewing Company's Dragonfly IPA". Don't ask if they have any "IPAs" ... your server will say that they don't. Don't ask if they have anything from "Upland Brewing Company" ... the answer to that is "no" as well. The same goes if you ask for anything "local", anything "made in Indiana", or even "anything good". Basically, if you don't say the magic word, "Dragonfly", you won't get it. And even that depends on the server. You see, each server seems to have her very own 'cheat sheet' in her order book. Thus, if your server knows the beer as "Upland" rather than as "Dragonfly", the secret password is "Upland" ... but again, only for that individual server -- who, incidentally, wouldn't likely know if the "Upland" they have is the "IPA" or the "wheat". You see, "IPA" might refer to Flat 12's Half-Cycle ... or it might even refer to the Sierra Nevada, since, after all, it has the words "Pale Ale" in it. So, to make a long story short, if you want to get the good beer that the management has worked so hard to acquire, tell your server you need a minute and walk up to the bar yourself. Despite these recent improvements to the beer selection -- and the servers' ignorance of this, notwithstanding -- there's still enough corporate hellishness to make BWWs a source of serious concern for our future. The good management at B-dubs must be shackled with countless corporate regulations, from the server's obligatory "Welcome to B-dubs/We sell Pepsi products"-welcome, to the menu itself, which is so littered with insets and cutouts and inviting pictures of placed-products and icons and logos of its corporate partners that it can be hard to figure out what they actually have. Even the beer selection is tightly controlled by what Corporate and its distributor-partner allows, meaning that the admirable craft beers can be hard to find among the throngs of tasteless and characterless wheats and lagers from the more-familiar, nationwide brands. But maybe the most intense cacophony arises from the constant audiovisual stimulation that greets you from absolutely every corner of this cavernous space. There are more TVs and screens in front of you, around you, above you, even ON YOUR TABLE, that it can be hard to find the food. Yes, B-dubs has managed to acquire some quality stuff. I have been a fan of the BW3 franchise for years. I usually find them to have good hot wings, I like the quiz gaming available to keep me company when I eat alone. Except for the store in Crawfordsville, Indiana. I have been a customer of theirs' since it opened several years ago. This particular location just can't seem to get their stuff together. I have found hair in my food on two occasions, cold chicken, poor service, wrong orders, etc. etc. My last encounter was that I sat and waited to be even waited on for almost 10 minutes. as i was getting up to leave the server came to me and the 1st words out of his mouth were, "Before we get started here, I need to see your I.D." I showed him my I.D. and I then asked what had taken so long for anybody to wait on me. He advised that he had been in the back changing a keg and it had taken him a while. I advised him that i had already waited too long and was leaving. As i was leaving, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager came out and i explained what had happened and her response to me was Not sorry for your wait, not I apologize, nothing. Just a smart condescending toned "Sorry he had to change a keg". So ssd, this place used to be a wonderful place to sit and eat with family or friends... now when you go you have to wait 30 minutes or MORE for food.. service is always super slow... the last THREE times we have gone the food has been cold or wrong... We took a shot in the dark and called for a carry out order this past friday... the food was wrong from. What we ordered... the lady on the phone read it back to me correctly... and when my husband went to pick up the order he paid for 4 sauces and 2 queso cheese cups we didn't get.... as well as food that had been made incorrectly... we ordered fried chicken tenders and he recieved grilled.... Refused to make it right even when the General Manager Amber was called. I gave them 3 chances, offered for them to make it right and replace the food with the right order. The shift manager told me I would have needed to bring in the wrong food to get it replaced, like I have nothing else to do with my time. No apology was issued. No way to treat customers. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME HERE! Arnis in town is good, so is Johnney Provolones. Little Mexico is great too! Guess what BWW, you are no longer the only wing game in town! It was super annoying because she asked my husband what hed like and skipped over me. I was pissed so when she brought the food i went ahead and asked for the check and box, this waitress sees me put my card on the table with the bill, comes to my table 3 times and DOESNT pick up my card. After waiting forever for her to come i ended up just going in all rude asking to pay. It was super frustrating and i dont recommend service like this. Went to dinner here tonight. I ordered a buffalo blue cheese veggie burger, the first time the waiter took it back because they accidentally put a meat patty on it instead. The second time they forgot the buffalo sauce. And the third time they came back it the patty was so rock hard I couldn't stick my fork in it. That being said, I think it was just a matter of lack of practice of making it, they probably don't make that many veggie patties, so it's hard to tell when it's done. I wasn't upset at all. The waiter has waited on us before and he was so nice and kind. I told him it was no big deal, it's not his fault. But he got the manager to make me a new one and he took it off of my bill. I used to be a fan of Bdubs. We have frequented this establishment multiple times a year and in the last month have done so twice. Our most recent experience was terrible. I took the family out and it started well enough, we had Nikki* as a server. After getting our initial drinks things went sour fast. My 5 year old waited 10 minutes for our waitress to return with her cup and refill. This wouldn't have been a huge deal but after trying hot wings from our appetizer(which our waitress forgot silverware and boats for so it sat on our table for 7minutes and was cold when we got to eat it.) We moved through our appetizer with a 5year old with a mouth on fire, and continued to wait an addition 40minutes for 2orders of wings, Mac and cheese and a couple chicken sandwiches, once we finally got our food and drinks, our waitress without saying a word drops our food in front of us and walks off, I chased her down for mayonnaise that should have been on the sandwich to begin with...another 10minytes and my family is finishing their food and I see my waitress talking to heirs another staff member and laughing across the dining room, I flag her down for her to bring the mayo without a word and turn to leave. I finally got to eat my cold sandwich... I am a passive person and when the bill came i walked the bill to the counter and managed to see the manager. As I started to speak to the manager our waitress stared at me from the host podium. I caught the waitress and manager roll their eyes and our waitress scoffed and walked off, I decided to completely drop the issue and the manager smirked and showed no concern over her employees actions, or lack their of. The waitress forget what our drink orders were and brought out the wrong drinks. The fries were cold like they had been sitting out for a while. The boneless wings were not completely covered in sauce. There were patches of no sauce on them. The traditional wings were cold and felt like they had been sitting out for awhile. The booth we sat in was torn up and should have been replaced. I personally love bdubs and am really disappointed that this place is a train wreck. One of two places you can go to enjoy watching televised games while having good food and alcohol. This is one of the smallest Bdubs I've ever been to but Crawfordsville is a small town. They have the biggest entertainment setup but it all comes at price. Big game coming up? Better get there early or you'll be hard pressed to get a seat, especially for the bar area. Service is so-so, but they get the job done; although, if you see the place packed expect 20 mins for you food to show. The food is decent, and I wouldnt go anywhere else for wings in Cville. And I do hate to say it but they do have the largest selection of beers on tap in town; however, the prices for said beers are a little steep.
