The food took over 30 minutes, which wouldn't be a deal breaker, if it was hot. The fries were cold. That's a death sentence in my opinion. The burger was fine, though not hot, at least warm enough. Sorry, maybe impressive for some, but not for this guy. I would have been happier at the BBQ joint across the street.

For an appetizer, you have got to get the cheese curds. They are honestly way better than any place I've had them. The cheese (mozzarella) stayed perfectly soft the entire time (no rubbery bites halfway through), and the breading was light, tender, and full of flavor with little flecks of minced parsley and an incredible ranch dip. The breaded chicken sandwich was also really good, and everyone loved the sides--great fries or creamy slaw. I'd probably skip the nachos unless you specifically love black beans and jalapeños. They're served on a baking sheet, which actually makes them easier to share (nice touch), but they cool off quickly and just didn't have much flavor overall. You can check out my photos of both. If you're looking for a fun cocktail I loved the Oskee's Punch. It was my favorite of the two cocktails that I tried, (which you can see in the photos) --a tropical mix with rum, coconut, pineapple, orange. Super refreshing and well-balanced. What really made the night, though, was the service. The servers were incredibly friendly and added to the fun, energetic vibe of the evening. If you're looking for a place with great TVs, good food, and a fun atmosphere to watch any game, this is a solid choice.

Located in scenic Thomasboro. Actually, located in the heart of scenic Thomasboro. This is a bar,…read morenot unlike any other bar you would find in a town that has but one or two bars. It's got that hint of musty water damage, that you will find in old buildings. A subtle je ne sais quoi, that just makes a small town bar be a small town bar. You can't put your finger on it, but why are they ... exactly what they are? Is it the NASCAR logos throughout the place? Is it the can or bottle of beer that they never sold, but got one bottle of (in this case, Kentucky Horse Piss) (oddly enough, I have an empty bottle of KHP on display with the rest of the bottles at Kridz). Is it the 3 logos? Is it the neon for bud light or miller lite? There's the exact same sights, sounds, smells, and feels of almost every other small town bar. Would I call it a "dive bar", no. For it to be that, there would have to be competition in the same town. This is just "small town bar". Comparing it to CU, yes, this is a dive. But there is no comparison to CU. THIS IS THOMASBORO!!! The prices here are fantastic. It's nearly cheaper to drink here than to drink at the house. Take cash, or use the ATM. Probably easier to just take cash. Go here, you will love it. You may not feel like you are completely welcome on your first visit, but strike up a conversation with the bartender, the next time you go in, it'll be your home bar.
