Our issue is with their billing system or rather, complete lack thereof. We were presented with a bill for $6700 with zero supporting math or accounting. After asking for a proper accounting we were met with belligerence, stonewalling, threats of escalation and eventually late fees. It was obvious that the big, round number on our bill was extracted from the owner's derriere and that no amount of this or that service calculated either by hour or square footage could be massaged to equal $6700. When confronted with the (obvious) fact that if he can't show the math the number was made up he began to behave like a second grader accused of copying his classmate's test. In lieu of showing his work to us he began to threaten the property manager who originally called him. We eventually capitulated to these mafioso tactics and paid the bill in full in order to neutralize threats to the property manager. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but a bill, especially a large one, is usually arrived at by some form of mathematics.

Treasure State did a good job on the cleanup, and spent a total of 2 fulls days with two guys working. When we received the bill, it was for $6700 even with no detail at all. We asked for detail and they refused to give us anything that could get us to the total. The total was odd in that it was a round number. We would not have paid it, as our read of the law is that it favors transparency on invoices, but they were going after our rental agency since they had engaged this company. We are generally not legally oriented and definitely were not planning to engage any legal action for this amount of money, but their lack of transparency is wrong and we are certain that, and we gone farther with it, we would have prevailed. Treasure State continued to refuse any back up for our bill, and continued to press their case on our rental agency, knowing they couldn't weather the possibility of them taking it to collections. We ended up paying the bill and a 10% late fee! Best to just steer away from this company and use Buffalo Restoration or another reputable company.

The service tech literally walked off the job after having non-stop conversations with Kelley the entire time he was in our home, all of 20 minutes. He showed up earlier than the text stated, and then didn't complete the job. Also, BMS reduced their workers insurance coverage and no longer moves any items to clean under like the original owners did. I was incredibly disappointed to learn it wasn't managed by Dave and his wife any longer. The level of professionalism and customer service is nothing like they provided in the past. And the new owners aren't forthright in telling you it's under new management. It's "oh, the system has been upgraded, let's get your information put back in" when you call to schedule as a repeat customer of Dave's. And, be sure, if you do use them, to pay at the time of service or you get some money desperate jacked up legal team in NJ threatening you with passive aggressive commentary in group messages within a week.

They texted me finally a couple hours later stating that they were "so sorry" and requesting the name of the company that agreed to finally take our job. I live on the top floor of a condominium building. When water started leaking into condo through my ceiling, my HOA was anything but helpful. I tried calling other restoration companies over the weekend as water continued to pour into my place. No one would even come look at it for me. But on a Sunday, the Gallatin Restoration guys came and looked at my leak. While they couldn't help me while the water was coming in, they at least made contact with me, then continued to text me to check in. When a large portion of my ceiling finally caved in from all the water, they came that day. By the next day, they had drywall up and then, over the course of the next couple weeks, dried out my walls, got someone in to texturize the ceiling and then painted it. You can't even tell that anything happened! The most important thing to me, though, was that they showed up when they said they would, they communicated everything they did with me throughout the entire process, and they were friendly and professional guys to work with! Like I said at the beginning, they made a terrible situation so much better and gave me my home back. They are AMAZING!

I showed him my swatches and said that I was looking for 3' x 7' remnant to match them. He looked my carpet swatch, asked how old was this swatch. When I answered it was just a year old, he replied that it was a high-end Karastan carpet and he only sold carpet in 12' widths. I corrected him stating that actually it was Masland, and that I understood him and said other places that I'd stopped by at had remnants of varying widths and lengths. The man stated again that carpet comes in 12' widths, and then added that he didn't mean to be rude but that I had come in with a speciific request and he was telling me that he only had carpet in 12' widths. Finally I answered, "Right, that's fine. And you are rude!" As i turned to leave he called out, "i do have some remnants over here to the right ..." (just I had come in for). Of course I kept on walking while resisting a strong temptation to flip him off. It's no wonder that the parking lot is empty. No or rude service=no customers!
