When I asked him to review the pics, he became belligerent. He obviously advised differently, after looking at the entirety of the situation. The team came to replace the day after I got a call from the owner. I spoke to a gentleman and I got all the info. They came early in the morning and finished before noon. I heard they had to rush to another property before the thunder storm. I'm grateful roof was replaced on time before I headed to work that day. The crew worked efficiently. I didn't count how many people. The supervisor constantly ensuring the safety of his crew and clearing up the area where debris fell. It's rare to receive call from the owner of business. I guess it's a small business. Everyone is busy on the field. Supervisor told me to contact my insurance company to see if I can get a discount because of the new roof. I really like how a new roof looks like. I'm glad that they patched the leaky spots to prevent severe damage in the future.

I was not aware that there is one year window to file claim for damages. It turned out that when they brought to my attention, I had about a month left to claim the hail damages occurred in June 2016. Greg was the one followed through the whole process, including the critical meeting with the insurance adjuster to officially inspect the roof for claim purpose. In addition to Pyramid, I invited several other contractors to bid on this project. Judging by the appearance of the roof, no one was fully confident about getting claim approval. At the end, the claim was approved. Although after reduction of the deductible and a Settlement Factor, the payment I received from insurance is shy of the cost for the project, I truly consider myself lucky. Pyramid showed up just in time and provided necessary skill set and effort to open this wonderful opportunity for me. I am very thankful. I initially requested 4 contractors but the first 3 bids received had wide spread in price and were not sync in detailed specifications. One bid was for Owens Corning shingle while the other two were for CertainTeed shingle. I then requested several more contractors and focused on getting an apple-to-apple comparison in details. I ended up receiving 6 bids and 4 of them are for CertainTeed Landmark Max Def shingles with detailed information for a good comparison. Pyramid's team followed up with me patiently and were willing to match specifications I requested for apple-to-apple comparison. Their price was very close to the contractor I finally selected. I am sure Pyramid would be also a great contractor to go with.
