I was craving rotisserie chicken but wanted something a little more exciting than my usual trip to Pollo Loco, where it sometimes feels like you're paying so much money for a few tiny pigeon-sized pieces of chicken. After doing some Yelp research, I came across Wildbird, and I'm so glad I did. This was easily some of the best chicken I've had in a long time. Perfectly roasted, incredibly juicy, and seasoned incredibly well. The price was comparable to Pollo Loco, but the portion size was far more generous. I ordered the half chicken with charro beans and substituted my second side for chips and guacamole. The chips had a delicious seasoning. The meal also came with tortillas, and I chose pico de gallo as my second side. I had plenty of leftovers and turned them into tacos the next day using all the fixings. It was absolutely scrumptious! Just opened and the service is good. They might give you a coupon for your next visit. Got the Tacos Dorados with 3 crispy chicken tacos and it was ok. The meat is on the hard, dry side. The kale salad was delish! Sweet potatoes were good. The chicken I have to say was a little dry. I like for my chicken to be a lot more juicy. I'm hoping that was just a one time thing. And the tortillas smelled funny to me so I didn't like them. But all in all I would definitely come here again and maybe try something else.
