What a cute little store! My coworkers and I regularly frequent this adorable boutique in downtown Grass Valley (our salon is right up the street) to find wardrobe essentials. They carry several good brands of denim that aren't pricey at all (think $30-$40 range- pretty good, huh?) but are of good quality. We particularly like the Nissi line they carry- super cute denim, great fit, great price. The comparable denim to these that I have found run into the $100 range. Just a great spot to find trendy, well-priced, cute clothes. I love shopping local and downtown, and the higher priced clothing in town is a good quality product, but not everything I buy is an investment wardrobe piece! Some people were complaining about quality, but, you get what you pay for, and Wild Side is definitely the most consistent bargain in downtown Grass Valley. They always have something new to see, so don't miss out on some of the cutest clothes in town! read more

Such a great little shop, with really friendly and helpful employees. Their selection changes frequently, so I'm always finding something new. While the styles you find in there aren't necessarily all my style or even things that I'd wear on an everyday basis, they do have some basics and they do have great "going out" tops. The prices are great, but that might also speak to the quality of some of the items. For example, I bought a tank top and after one wear, the seam started fraying. But I've had other items hold up really well. I was a little disappointed to hear that the Miss Chic denim line was no longer being made - Wild Side had a great selection of their jeans. Hopefully they find something to replace that brand that's just as good. read more

I really like this shop. They offer a decent amount of trendy women's clothing. They have a great selection of nice denim. They generally have a good selection of shoes, purses, and jewelry. The prices are very reasonable and fair. It is also nice that the women of Grass Valley have a place where we can shop. The staff is always very helpful and professional without being pushy. The decor is also pretty cute. Any store that has zebra print and pink. My reason for giving 4 stars is because they close early. It would be nice if they stayed open later, especially on Friday or Saturday night. It would also be great if they extended their hours during the Thursday Night Market during the summer. read more

Great customer service! The gals were all very helpful and the decor is great for a downtown shop. The windows are very regularly updated and the clothing is on trend. For basics and of the moment must-haves come here! As a young mother on a sad little budget it is super easy to find great mid-quality items for every occasion. The skirts run a tad short for my age but I am in love with all versatile tops you can get for $12-$28! They also carry YMI brand jeans which are the bomb! YMI can sell in the mall for around $50-$65+ but here they are only around $35-$40 or less :) I also like that my mom,50 me,29 and my little sis,17 can all come here and find items we love. read more

Cheap clothing and poor customer service! I've heard many stories of girls being falsely accused of shoplifting from Wild Side. I suggest you steer clear of Wild Side and hit up La Te Da or Teez Me instead, if you want to shop local. read more

Great inventory, and one of the few stores in Grass Valley with styles for younger women. Selection is somewhat limited however, as the store is small. The dressing rooms could also use better chairs to put clothing items on (all they have is high wooden stools). read more

I went in here for a graduation dress that had lace on the sides and it was sheer. I stated that I was going to wear a tank top over it but the cashier was very judgy and rude telling me that it very risky and kept saying are you sure are you sure?! And there prices aren't very reasonable for the quality read more

I have been coming to this store for years and have loved it until the level of customer service I received from the owner when I noticed my brand new skirt had a huge horizontal slit half way up. I took the tag off because I had tried it on and it fit perfectly, I just didn't notice the huge tear while in the small fitting room and since I had already thrown away my receipt (which I threw away because I've never had any issues with quality or sizing and had no intention of needing it again) I was told I was basically S.O.L. I called to speak to the store to see if they would give me the same skirt in exchange for the faulty skirt I was sold and was told that I could not get any type of reimbursement since I didn't have the tag or receipt even though I was sold a defective item. This irritated me because I was not asking for cash back, or an exchange of another item - I just wanted the same skirt without a slit in it and she started raising her voice at me and acting extremely unprofessional. I had to ask her to lower her voice twice. NOT what I expected at all, especially from the owner. I ended up decided my cheap 14.99 skirt wasn't worth the 30 minute trek up to her store for her to decide whether I cut it myself as she was trying to imply. The day I bought the skirt, I also bought two pairs of jeans and a pair of jean shorts. One of the pair of jeans zippers broke the day after I called her about the defective skirt but I don't want to call back to see if I can get an exchange because I don't feel like getting into another altercation since I don't have my receipt. Nice policy. I see why you have it. You sell crap products and this is your way of not being liable. I could understand if I had a history of returning items or asking for exchanges but this was my first time ever. I will not be shopping here anymore which is quite a shame because I have been coming for 5 years +/-; I enjoy small boutique shops in cute towns. Looks like I'll have to find another one somewhere else. read more
