Liz has dedicated her life to animal rescues and it shines through as she talks us each experience. It is not a large area, but 2 hours flew by (haha) as we were captivated my each story and I am sure we could have spent more time if we had an opportunity. Because of COVID, they are only doing tours with individual groups so each one is intimate and personal. We anticipated donating double the recommended amount, but after our experience we went a little crazy and did a little bit more to match our magical visit :) If you are an animal lover and in the area, I would highly recommend a visit! That has happened to me in the past when I took online courses. The instructor never responded to my emails and was of no help. I feared the same treatment here. I am thrilled to say that I was mistaken. My two instructors have been amazing. They call, text and assist me in the video class meetings. They send me physical packets to work on at home. They fit me into their busy schedules. They are helpful, kind and truly express that they want me to succeed in my educational goals. When I reach them, my instructors will be a huge part of it. I hope they get the recognition they deserve. They're new to this type of learning system and we all are working together during this crazy time the world is plagued with.

They will not let you know. You have to stay on top of them every step of the way. They don't have the option for direct deposit for financial aid. They just started Bank Mobile. I hope it is helpful. Last term, my check was 2 weeks late and I was not able to purchase a lot of the materials for class. I am going to give it one more term. If things don't improve, I will go to a different school. I actually had to contact the school president's office and threaten to contact the Board of Education to get any assistance from them. If you are a student with any disabilities or cognitive issues, the disability office here has not been helpful at all.
